Abstract

This study aims to identify factors influencing poverty in Makassar City and propose effective social and economic interventions based on Human Capital Theory and Kurt Lewin's Change Model. It utilizes a qualitative approach employing grounded theory methodology. Data collection involved observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with 31 informants: government officials (2), poverty activists (3), and impoverished families (26) in Makassar City. NVivo software facilitated data analysis to determine key criteria and relationships among these factors. The study highlights poor sanitation quality, low education levels, limited motivation to escape poverty, and reliance on government aid as primary poverty exacerbators in Makassar. Proposed interventions include enhancing sanitation infrastructure, educational initiatives, skill development, and fostering social networks. These findings underscore the importance of an integrated approach to poverty alleviation. Theoretically, the study supports Human Capital Theory by emphasizing investment in education, skills, and health to boost productivity and community welfare. Managerially, the government is urged to implement programs improving sanitation, education access, economic empowerment, and ensure ongoing effectiveness through continuous monitoring.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop the "Ethics and Norms-Based Work" (ENBW) construct by integrating Human Capital Theory with ethical and religious norms within the Indonesian context, addressing significant gaps in the existing literature. Methodology/Approach: The research employed a holistic approach, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Amos to analyze data collected from 137 professionals across diverse sectors, including civil servants, educators, entrepreneurs, and employees of state-owned enterprises in South and West Sulawesi. Findings: The findings underscore the importance of incorporating ethical and moral values into human capital development. This integration not only enriches the understanding of human capital but also promotes a more ethical, productive, and inclusive work environment. Additionally, it supports economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Theoretical and Managerial Implications: For academics, the ENBW construct offers a new perspective on Human Capital Theory, emphasizing the integration of ethical principles into human resource development strategies. For practitioners, the findings provide actionable insights for fostering ethical behavior and sustainability within organizations. Research Limitations: The study is limited to a specific geographic region within Indonesia and a sample size of 137 professionals, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Future research should consider broader geographic and sectoral scopes to validate and extend the applicability of the ENBW construct.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan karakter, peran orang tua dan motivasi belajar secara parsial maupun bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Yang menjadi populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa SMKN 1 Soppeng sebanyak 389 orang siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 80 orang siswa. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah model regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pendidikan karakter berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa, artinya semakin baik pendidikan karakter, akan semakin tinggi pula minat berwirausaha siswa. Peran orang tua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa, artinya semakin baik program peran orang tua, akan semakin tinggi pula minat berwirausaha siswa. Motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa, artinya semakin baik motivasi belajar, akan semakin tinggi pula minat berwirausaha siswa. Pendidikan karakter, peran orang tua dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa, artinya semakin baik pendidikan karakter, peran orang tua dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama, akan semakin tinggi pula minat berwirausaha siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng. 2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen berbasis sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng. 3) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan manajemen berbasis sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng yang berjumlah 77 orang. Dalam penelitian ini semua populasi yaitu guru SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng semua diteliti. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda dengan persamaan regresi Y = α + b1X1 + b2X2. uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng. Artinya apabila tingkat gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mengalami kenaikan maka kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng juga mengalami kenaikan. Sebaliknya apabila gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menurun maka kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng menurun. Manajemen berbasis sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng. Artinya apabila tingkat Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah mengalami kenaikan maka kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng juga mengalami kenaikan. Sebaliknya apabila Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah menurun maka kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng menurun. Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan manajemen berbasis sekolah secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng. Artinya apabila gaya kepemimpinan dan manajemen berbasis sekolah mengalami kenaikan maka kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng juga mengalami kenaikan. Sebaliknya apabila gaya kepemimpinan dan manajemen berbasis sekolah menurun maka kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 4 Soppeng juga menurun.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on consumer loyalty through trust and satisfaction in Classic Interior's creative business in Makassar City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 122 respondents who are consumers of Classic Interior. The data analysis technique used is path analysis to test the direct and indirect influences between variables. The results of the study show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer trust and satisfaction. Consumer trust and satisfaction have also been shown to have a significant effect on consumer loyalty. In addition, service quality has an indirect influence on loyalty through trust and satisfaction, where consumer satisfaction is the most powerful mediator in the relationship. This research emphasizes the importance of service quality improvement strategies that focus on creating consumer trust and satisfaction as a foundation in building long-term customer loyalty.Keywords: Service quality, trust, satisfaction, consumer loyalty, Classic Interior.

Abstract

Proper training is one of the most critical measures businesses can implement to equip their employees with the necessary skills to confront the obstacles of globalization and digitalization. This investigation investigates the efficacy of training in fostering employee creativity by employing human resource quality as a proxy. An online survey was administered to 121 Kenshusei alums from Indonesia to collect quantitative data. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was implemented to ascertain the relationships between variables and the underlying causes. The findings suggest practical training improves human resources quality, fostering employee creativity. It was clear that the quality of human resources fully mediates this relationship, but training had no significant direct effect on creativity. This study uses Resource-Based Theory (RBT) and Goal-Setting Theory (GST) to argue that good training can help people become more creative and adaptable to technological changes and new needs worldwide.
