Abstract

This study aims to design teaching materials for Insya' subjects and explain the design process and its outcomes. The research method used was Design-Based Research (DBR), which belongs to Research and Development (R&D) and consists of four stages: problem identification and analysis, solution design, iterative testing cycles, and final reflection. The data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with both quantitative and qualitative analysis applied. The results show two main findings: first, the teaching materials design goes through three stages, namely setting objectives, setting materials, and formulating evaluations. Second, the outcomes that have been designed were stated to be 'good' category.

Abstract

Research trends are an important indicator in evaluating the extent to which a field of science has developed, especially in Arabic language skills. It is necessary to know the extent to which previous researchers have studied these skills with various types of methods, approaches, models, instruments, and how much similar research has been carried out. Therefore, this study aims to investigate research trends in Arabic language skills in Indonesian academic literature, with a focus on articles published in accredited journals of SINTA (Science and Technology Index) during the 2018-2022 period. The research method used is SLR (Systematic Literature Review), which is used as a framework for identifying, collecting and reviewing literature. Data will be collected from SINTA accredited journals which contain articles about Arabic language skills totaling 62 journals with 377 articles. This research uses descriptive bibliometric analysis to identify research trends, dominant topics, and Indonesia's contribution to Arabic language skills academic literature. This research has revealed that a lot of research on Arabic language skills carried out in 2021, which is dominant with research on speaking skill, while the type of research used is dominated by quantitative experiments and qualitative case studies, with instruments of interview, observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation being many choices for researchers with descriptive qualitative analysis as well as descriptive statistical analysis. Most research locus are found at junior high school, high school and university levels, while research topics are more directed towards a particular method in Arabic language skills.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, ChatGPT, as one of the AI-based learning tools, is increasingly used across various educational sectors. However, are students truly prepared to embrace this change in Arabic language learning? This research is essential to investigate how students of Arabic Language Education at Universitas Islam KH. Ruhiat Cipasung responds to the use of ChatGPT, given that this application offers easy access to information but also brings potential negative impacts that have not been widely discussed. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions regarding the benefits, challenges, and impacts of using ChatGPT in Arabic language learning. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with students as participants. The results show that while students view ChatGPT as a tool that can accelerate information access and enhance learning efficiency, they also identify several limitations, such as a lack of understanding of cultural and religious contexts, technical issues, and concerns about over-reliance on technology, which could diminish critical thinking skills. This study offers recommendations to strike a balance between the use of ChatGPT and traditional teaching methods that emphasize direct interaction and discussion, thereby creating a balance between technology and social skills in Arabic language education.

Abstract

Ketimpangan gender pada saat ini masih tejadi disebabkan karena berasal dari pemikiran turun temurun sejak dulu dimana perempuan lebih rendah posisinya dibandingkan laki-laki, tidak hanya di tanah air Indonesia namun ini terjadi di seluruh dunia, Tujuan artikel ini menjelaskan hukum iddah dan ihdad Pendekatan Maqāṣid As-syarī'ah Kontemporer Jasser Auda, dimana dalam qaidah fiqh klasik ketentuan iddah dan ihdad, pembatasan serta perbandingan peluang antara wanita serta pria dalam kesempatan untuk menikah. Terlihat hal bertentangan dengan salah satu butir konvensi CEDAW. upaya Indonesia dalam menangani masalah ini yaitu pada tahun 1980 Indonesia menandatangani Konvensi CEDAW melalui UUD- nomor 7 Tahun 1984 Ratifikasi Konvensi PBB tentang Penghapusan segala Bentuk Diskriminasi terhadap Perempuan (disingkat sebagai Konvensi Wanita). Indonesia menjadikan wanita selaku masyarakat negeri ataupun sumber daya insani memiliki peran hak serta peranan dan peluang yang serupa dengan laki- laki guna berfungsi dalam pembangunan di seluruh aspek.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode (library search). setelah diadakan proses telaah terhadap teori maqashid jaseer auda dalam konteks iddah maka bisa disimpulkan bawha eksistensi iddah tetap bisa memberikan maslahat sehingga wajib dilakasanakan. Adapun dalam konsep CEDAW, iddah dan ihdad sejatinya bermakna perlindungan untuk hak wanita. Riset ini memverifikasi jika Hukum `iddah dan Ihdad dalam islam adalah wujud kefleksibelan hukum Agama Islam.
