Abstract

The Qur'an was revealed by Allah SWT as proof of the truth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, with its primary function being guidance for humankind. The Qur'an narrates many aspects of education and its urgency for human life. The ability of muraja'ah in the Qur'an is one of the methods to consistently remember our memorization or preserve and maintain the fluency of Qur'anic memorization, ensuring that the Qur'anic memorization achieved through hard work does not fade away. The Talaqqi method is a teaching method of the Qur'an by directly imitating the recitation of the teacher and then mimicking the demonstration of the teacher. This research aims to answer several research questions: 1) to describe the concept of the Talaqqi method in Qur'anic memorization, 2) to describe the ability of muraja'ah in the Qur'an, and 3) to describe the ability of muraja'ah in Qur'anic memorization from the perspective of the Talaqqi method. This study employs library research as its type, utilizing qualitative research methods. Data sources consist of primary sources such as Talaqqi books, and secondary sources including books, journals, and other relevant readings supporting this research. The results of this study indicate that the ability of muraja'ah in Qur'anic memorization from the perspective of the Talaqqi method emphasizes repetitive learning methods aimed at consistently remembering or preserving and maintaining the fluency of Qur'anic memorization effectively. Therefore, Qur'anic learning using the Talaqqi method ensures that memorized Qur'anic verses do not easily fade from memory, emphasizing the importance of regular revision to maintain memorization. These findings contribute to the scholarly understanding of effective Qur'anic learning methods.  Keywords: Qur'an, Talaqqi Method, Muraja'ah

Abstract

This study explores the concept of ihsan as conveyed in the Hadith of Gabriel and its application in character education for students. The research aims to analyze the understanding of ihsan according to classical and contemporary scholars such as Imam Nawawi, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, and Yusuf al-Qaradawi, as well as to explain how the values of ihsan can strengthen the moral and spiritual development of students. Using a qualitative approach through literature research and descriptive analysis, this study examines primary sources, including Sahih Muslim and classical commentaries, as well as supporting literature on Islamic education. The findings indicate that ihsan, which means worshiping Allah as if we see Him and realizing that He sees us, is not only a theological concept but also serves as a profound ethical principle in daily life. Imam Nawawi describes ihsan as a spiritual awareness that fosters noble character; Ibn Hajar regards it as a moral motivation to avoid mistakes and enhance sincerity; while Yusuf al-Qaradawi sees ihsan as a universal ethical principle applicable to all aspects of life, including education. The internalization of ihsan values supports character education by promoting honesty, discipline, responsibility, empathy, and social concern. Therefore, integrating the concept of ihsan into character education helps develop students into individuals who are not only intellectually competent but also spiritually aware and morally good. ABSTRAKStudi ini mengeksplorasi konsep ihsan sebagaimana yang disampaikan dalam Hadis Jibril dan penerapannya dalam pendidikan karakter bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman tentang ihsan menurut para ulama klasik dan kontemporer seperti Imam Nawawi, Ibnu Hajar al-Asqalani, dan Yusuf al-Qaradawi, serta menjelaskan bagaimana nilai-nilai ihsan dapat memperkuat perkembangan moral dan spiritual siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui penelitian pustaka dan analisis deskriptif, studi ini mengkaji sumber-sumber utama, termasuk Shahih Muslim dan komentar klasik, serta literatur pendukung tentang pendidikan Islam. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ihsan, yang berarti beribadah kepada Allah seolah-olah kita melihat-Nya dan menyadari bahwa Dia melihat kita, bukan hanya merupakan konsep teologis tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai prinsip etika yang mendalam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Imam Nawawi menggambarkan ihsan sebagai kesadaran spiritual yang memupuk karakter mulia; Ibnu Hajar memandangnya sebagai motivasi moral untuk menghindari kesalahan dan meningkatkan ketulusan; sementara Yusuf al-Qaradawi menganggap ihsan sebagai prinsip etika universal yang berlaku di semua aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Internalisasi nilai-nilai ihsan mendukung pendidikan karakter dengan mendorong kejujuran, disiplin, tanggung jawab, empati, dan kepedulian sosial. Oleh karena itu, mengintegrasikan konsep ihsan ke dalam pendidikan karakter membantu mengembangkan siswa menjadi individu yang tidak hanya kompeten secara intelektual tetapi juga sadar secara spiritual dan bermoral baik.
