Abstract

Today the education system implemented by Indonesia in schools is an adoption of the western education system, so that in developing the character of students it is still far from forming human character in the values ​​contained in the Qur'an and Sunnah, especially in the application of the concept of humanistic education. . This study aims to identify and describe the concept of Humanistic Education in the Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 13 of the Study of Islamic Education. This research is based on a framework of thought or theory which states that Humanistic Education is education that teaches that every human being is different from one another which aims to humanize humans. This research is a type of library research, namely by conducting research on the interpretation of the commentators of Q.S Al-Hujurat verse 13 and relevant written sources on the research topic being studied. The research method used is a qualitative research method by focusing on analyzing the content of the Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 13 and the contents of the texts of books. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the humanistic education of Q.S Al-Hujurat Verse 13 within the framework of Islamic Education is a unique, independent, and creative human education system. Seeing humans as creatures created by God with certain qualities, and building human character in humans who respect human dignity as the most perfect creature. Abstract

Critical thinking is a manifestation of learning behavior, particularly in relation to problem-solving. In critical thinking, students are required to use cognitive abilities to test the effectiveness of their thinking in solving problems and addressing errors or deficiencies. As we know, the sorogan and wetonan methods are traditional methods that have persisted amidst the emergence of various modern teaching methods today. Therefore, the sorogan and wetonan teaching methods can promote critical thinking in students. The objective of this research is to describe the influence of the application of the sorogan and wetonan methods on students' critical thinking skills. This will help to understand the relationship between the application of the sorogan and wetonan methods (Variable X) and critical thinking (Variable Y). The research method used is descriptive quantitative, involving the collection of data or information about the phenomenon under study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to 23 respondents. Data processing is conducted through statistical data analysis. The results indicate that the sorogan and wetonan methods have an average score of 40.9, falling within the interval range above 39, classified as very high. Meanwhile, the students' critical thinking ability has an average score of 41.7, also within the interval range above 39, classified as very high. Statistical tests show a significant influence of the sorogan and wetonan methods on students' critical thinking ability, amounting to 59%, with the remaining 41% determined by other factors. Abstract

Understanding and knowing the Quran and its contents is an obligation for all Muslims. Therefore, learning to read and understanding the rules of its recitation is also mandatory to ensure that the meanings and intentions of the Quranic verses are not altered. The Iqro' method is a Quranic reading method that emphasizes direct reading practice. Hence, the Iqro' method can assist students in improving their Quranic recitation fluency. This study aims to describe: (1) the implementation of the Iqro' method at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Rohmaniyah Sukawening Garut, (2) the fluency of Quranic reading, and (3) the impact of applying the Iqro' method on the fluency of Quranic reading. Consequently, this research seeks to determine the extent of the relationship between the implementation of the Iqro' method (X) and the fluency of Quranic reading (Y). The method used in this study is inferential quantitative, which involves collecting data or information about the phenomena being investigated. Data collection techniques included distributing questionnaires to 25 respondents, conducting observations, and documentation studies. Data processing was conducted through statistical data analysis. The results show that the application of the Iqro' method scores an average of 40.6, placing it within the 3.01-4.00 interval, categorized as very good. Meanwhile, the fluency of Quranic reading scores an average of 39.84, also within the 3.01-4.00 interval, categorized as very good. Based on statistical tests, there is a 43.76% influence of the application of the Iqro' method on Quranic reading fluency. Other factors affecting Quranic reading fluency, accounting for 56.24%, were not examined in this study. These findings summarize the overall results of the research. Abstract

Self-confidence is a crucial element for students to develop their potential effectively. However, issues surrounding students' self-confidence often demand significant attention. Indicators of low self-confidence among students include a lack of self-belief, optimism, objectivity, responsibility, and rational as well as realistic thinking. Consequently, these students struggle to harness their full potential. One viable approach to addressing this issue is through the implementation of the "seven-minute lecture" (kultum) activity. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of kultum activities in fostering self-confidence among fifth-grade students at SDIT Assalam Garut Kota. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection methods include observations, document analysis, and questionnaires. The research sample consists of 28 fifth-grade students from SDIT Assalam Garut Kota. Data were processed using statistical analysis methods. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of the kultum activity is rated with an average score of 3.57, falling within the 3.01-4.00 interval, which is categorized as "Good". This demonstrates that the kultum activities were executed effectively. Furthermore, the development of students' self-confidence was rated with an average score of 4.32, within the 4.01-5.00 interval, categorized as "Very Good". This indicates a significant increase in students' self-confidence following the effective implementation of kultum activities. Statistical tests reveal a significant correlation of 34.3% between participation in kultum activities and the enhancement of students' self-confidence, with other unexamined variables contributing 65.7% to the development of self-confidence.  Keywords: Effectiveness, Kultum Activities, Self-Confidence

Abstract

Educational media is one of the crucial aspects that educators must master. It significantly impacts the success of the teaching and learning process. By using a variety of educational media, educators can foster and develop students' interest and talents in learning. This approach can simplify the comprehension of material, keeping students engaged and preventing boredom, thus promoting direct interaction between educators and students. The Qur'an contains numerous verses discussing educational media, notably in Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 31. This verse encompasses several values related to educational media. This research aims to describe the educational media concepts embedded in Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 31 of the Qur'an. It employs a library research method through an analytical approach and includes a comparative study to examine the factors and consequences based on documents and literature. The research is inductive, aiming to generate theories through the exploration of facts by analyzing the interpretations of scholars regarding Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 31, and reviewing written sources about educational media proposed by experts and Islamic scholars. The qualitative research method focuses on content analysis of the Qur'anic verse and relevant texts. The findings reveal that the value associated with educational media in Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 31, pertains to "al-asma" or objects, indicating the use of tangible items as effective learning tools.  Keywords : Educational Media, Qur'an, Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 31

Abstract

This study is motivated by educational challenges related to the role of teachers. Teachers play a pivotal role in the educational process, and their personalities significantly contribute to the success of education. The Qur'an, as the highest source of guidance in education, contains numerous verses that address the competencies and characteristics of a teacher's personality. One such reference is found in Surah Al-An'am, verse 162, which highlights the importance of sincerity in teaching. The objective of this research is to describe the educational values contained in Surah Al-An'am, verse 162, concerning the personality competencies of teachers from the perspective of Islamic Educational Sciences. This research is a type of library research, involving the examination of interpretations by various Islamic scholars (mufassir) on Surah Al-An'am, verse 162, as well as written sources on educational values proposed by experts and Islamic scholars. The methodology employed in this research is descriptive, focusing on content analysis of Surah Al-An'am, verse 162, and relevant textual materials. The data analysis technique used is thematic interpretation (tafsir). The findings indicate that the educational values derived from Surah Al-An'am, verse 162, as interpreted by scholars, emphasize the importance of sincerity. The educational values in this verse regarding the personality competencies of teachers within the study of Islamic Educational Sciences include:   I'tiqodiyah Values (Faith) - Emphasizing the necessity of sincere belief and faith in a teacher's life. Shari'ah Values - Highlighting the importance of sincere adherence to Islamic law and religious practices. Khuluqiyah Values (Morality) - Stressing the need for sincere conduct and behavior in all interactions.   These values underscore the fundamental requirement for a teacher to embody sincerity in their faith, worship, and behavior. Abstract

The Qur'an was revealed by Allah SWT as a testament to the truth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, with its primary function serving as guidance for humanity. The Qur'an addresses many aspects of education and its importance in human life. The ability to read the Qur'an is a proficiency or skill in correctly and accurately reciting the Qur'anic text or divine speech according to the rules of Tajweed. The Tilawati method is a learning approach for reading the Qur'an that employs tilawah melodies with a balanced approach, combining habituation through classical group practice and precision in reading through individualized techniques with the "listen and read" method. This study aims to address several research questions: 1) To describe the concept of the Tilawati method, 2) To elucidate the application of the Tilawati method in enhancing the ability to read the Qur'an, 3) To analyze the Qur'anic reading proficiency from the perspective of the Tilawati method within the framework of Islamic education. This research is classified as library research. The qualitative method is used to explore the sources. The data sources include primary sources, such as the Tilawati book and the strategies for teaching the Tilawati method, and secondary sources, including classical texts, books, journals, and other literature supporting this research. The findings indicate that the Tilawati method, by incorporating tilawah melodies, significantly enhances one's ability to read the Qur'an accurately and proficiently, in line with the principles of Tajweed. Consequently, the Tilawati method for Qur'anic reading involves a learning approach that uses the Rost melody, combining classical group and individualized methods. There are two pedagogical approaches in the Tilawati method that aid in Qur'anic reading proficiency: the classical approach and the individual approach. Abstract

The Qur'an was revealed by Allah SWT as proof of the truth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, with its primary function being guidance for humankind. The Qur'an narrates many aspects of education and its urgency for human life. The ability of muraja'ah in the Qur'an is one of the methods to consistently remember our memorization or preserve and maintain the fluency of Qur'anic memorization, ensuring that the Qur'anic memorization achieved through hard work does not fade away. The Talaqqi method is a teaching method of the Qur'an by directly imitating the recitation of the teacher and then mimicking the demonstration of the teacher. This research aims to answer several research questions: 1) to describe the concept of the Talaqqi method in Qur'anic memorization, 2) to describe the ability of muraja'ah in the Qur'an, and 3) to describe the ability of muraja'ah in Qur'anic memorization from the perspective of the Talaqqi method. This study employs library research as its type, utilizing qualitative research methods. Data sources consist of primary sources such as Talaqqi books, and secondary sources including books, journals, and other relevant readings supporting this research. The results of this study indicate that the ability of muraja'ah in Qur'anic memorization from the perspective of the Talaqqi method emphasizes repetitive learning methods aimed at consistently remembering or preserving and maintaining the fluency of Qur'anic memorization effectively. Therefore, Qur'anic learning using the Talaqqi method ensures that memorized Qur'anic verses do not easily fade from memory, emphasizing the importance of regular revision to maintain memorization. Abstract

The profile of Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin students embodies strong national commitment, tolerance towards others, principles rejecting physical and verbal violence, and respect for tradition. PPRA (Preventive Action, Response, and Analysis) emphasizes exemplary values aimed at mitigating the decline in student morals. Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4 exemplifies Prophet Ibrahim's commitment to faith despite challenges. This study aims to describe the exemplary character of PPRA in the context of the "merdeka belajar" program from the perspective of Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4. This research employs a library research method, examining interpretations of Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4 by commentators and written sources on exemplary character by scholars. Using qualitative methods, the study focuses on content analysis of Surat Al-Mumtahanah and textual analysis of relevant literature. The findings highlight that Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin student profiles reflect universal values and high tolerance. PPRA exemplifies characteristics such as politeness, diligence in learning, heeding advice, and forgiving others' mistakes. In the context of Surat Al-Mumtahanah verse 4, PPRA's exemplary character includes politeness towards others, kindness towards parents, trust in God, earnest prayer, resilience in adversity, receptiveness to advice, restraint from worldly desires, refraining from retaliation, forgiving others, and maintaining positive thoughts about Allah.  Keywords: Exemplary Character, Rahmatan Lil ‘Alamin Student Profile, "Merdeka Belajar" Program.

Abstract

Honesty is an ability an talent prossesed by a person to always say and behave in accordance with existing circumstances without exaggerating it, in this case, a teenage child needs guidance from his parents, because parents are the first person responsible for educating their children to develop into a complete adult human being. However, instilling honesty in children is not easy thing, especially in teenagers who are currently affected by the era of globalization. Therefore, this study aims to describe The Role Of Parents In Installing Honesty Character Education For Teenagers From The Perspective Of Alqur’an Surah Luqman Verse 16. Then, the method use in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation study. The data analysis technique used by research is in the form of content analysis and uses analaysis from several interpretations. Based on the results of the study, instilling of honesty character education for teenagers is carried out using exemplary and habituation starategies and the fulfillment of honesty character indicators. According to several interpretations that have been studied, Luqman gives advice to his son to always do good and not hide anything from anyone especially from Allah, because Allah is the most subtle and meticulous. In the Qur’an surah Luqman verse 16 there is a description of a father who loves his son so much that he never stops giving advice, seeing this, of course it is very clear here that the role of parents is very necessary in terms of instilling honesty character education for teenagers.  Keywords : parental role, honesty character, teenagers.
