Abstract

This article is being published on behalf of one of the tridharma activities of the university, namely, Dedication to the Society. (PkM). This service to the community is an annual routine activity carried out by a lecturer. The PkM activities take place in the village of Cihideung Ilir, Ciampea district, Bogor district. The theme of the event is the empowerment of the community in the social, economic and religious fields based on local wisdom. In short, this article contains an analysis of the development of science and creativity that is very important developed as one of the main tasks of Tridharma College. that the implementation of the basic duties of the lecturer is the duty to carry out the field of devotion to the society in addition to the performance of the tasks in the fields of teaching and research. The method used in this writing is qualitative descriptive with an analysis approach of local wisdom phenomena. This research found that there is a great benefit of the activities of the PkM for society that is the occurrence of the process of integration of science applied in the midst of the society based on internal needs in order to answer the problems that must be solved both in the social, economic and religious spheres.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tanda berdasarkan makna aspek ikon, indeks, serta simbol pada puisi mantra Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung dan Jampe Muriang di suku Sunda. Mantra ini berfungsi sebagai cara pengobatan alami yang dipraktikkan oleh masyarakat suku Sunda untuk mengatasi sakit perut dan sakit demam. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Selain itu, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data simak dan catat. Pendekatan yang digunakan berupa semiotik teori Charles Sanders Peirce. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melibatkan penggunaan kartu data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskripsi analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam puisi mantra Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung dan Jampe Muriang terdapat tanda berdasarkan aspek ikon, indeks, serta simbol, yang kemudian memberikan edukasi tentang warisan budaya yang dimiliki secara lokal, khususya di suku Sunda. Penelitian ini berimplikasi sebagai materi pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa serta memberikan tambahan pengetahuan tentang nilai kearifan lokal. Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung and Jampe Muriang Spell in the Sundanese Tribe: A Semiotic StudyThis research aims to describe signs based on the meaning of aspects of icons, indices and symbols in the mantra poetry Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung and Jampe Muriang in the Sundanese tribe. This mantra functions as a natural treatment method practiced by the Sundanese people to treat stomach aches and fevers. This research uses qualitative descriptive. Apart from that, use the data collection technique of listening and taking notes. The approach used is the semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Peirce. The data collection instrument in this research involved the use of data cards. The data analysis technique uses the analysis description method. The results of the research show that in the mantra poems Jampe Nyeuri Beuteung and Jampe Muriang there are signs based on aspects of icons, indices and symbols, which then provide education about the cultural heritage that is owned locally, especially in the Sundanese tribe. This research has implications as Indonesian language learning material that can improve students' critical thinking skills and provide additional knowledge about the value of local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, struktur, dan fungsi klausa relatif dalam novel Béntang Hariring karya Dian Hendrayana. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi pustaka dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis unsur langsung. Sumber data adalah novel Béntang Hariring. Hasil penelitian menemukan 68 klausa relatif yang terbagi menjadi klausa relatif restriktif dan non-restriktif. Struktur klausa relatif ditemukan dalam bentuk lengkap, yaitu konjungsi (a)nu + klausa tunggal, serta bentuk tidak lengkap, yaitu konjungsi (a)nu + S ± O ± Pel ± K. Fungsi klausa relatif terbagi menjadi lima, yaitu subjek, objek, pelengkap, aksis, dan aksis atributif. Kesimpulannya, klausa relatif dalam novel Béntang Hariring dapat dianalisis dari aspek bentuk, struktur, dan fungsi, dan penelitian ini membuka peluang untuk studi lebih lanjut mengenai klausa relatif dalam bahasa Sunda. Kata-kata Kunci: klausa relatif, novel Béntang Hariring, sintaksis Abstract This study aims to describe the form, structure, and function of relative clauses in the novel Béntang Hariring by Dian Hendrayana. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through literature study techniques and analyzed using direct element analysis. The data source is the novel Béntang Hariring. The results of the study found 68 relative clauses divided into restrictive and non-restrictive relative clauses. The structure of the relative clauses was found in complete form, namely the conjunction (a)nu + single clause, as well as incomplete form, namely the conjunction (a)nu + S ± O ± Pel ± K. The function of the relative clause is divided into five, namely subject, object, complement, axis, and attributive axis. In conclusion, the relative clauses in the novel Béntang Hariring can be analyzed from the aspects of form, structure, and function, and this study opens opportunities for further studies on relative clauses in Sundanese.
