Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat internasional ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan literasi inovasi dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai bagian dari proses desain modern. Urgensi kegiatan terletak pada semakin pentingnya integrasi AI dalam pendidikan tinggi untuk mendukung kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan industri berbasis digital. Program ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa program teknologi informasi dan desain, yang berpartisipasi dalam perkuliahan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, serta penugasan proyek berbasis design thinking dengan dukungan alat AI. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest posttest pemahaman konsep serta survei kepuasan peserta. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman rata-rata sebesar 78% dan tingkat kepuasan mencapai 95%. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kapasitas mahasiswa dalam inovasi berbasis AI serta mendukung perluasan jejaring akademik dan kolaborasi internasional dalam pendidikan tinggi.Abstract: This international community engagement program was motivated by the need to enhance students’ innovation literacy and their ability to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) as part of modern design processes. The urgency of this initiative lies in the growing importance of integrating AI into higher education to prepare students for challenges in digitally driven industries. The program was attended by students from information technology and design disciplines, who participated in interactive lectures, group discussions, and project-based assignments grounded in design thinking supported by AI tools. Evaluation was conducted through pretest posttests of conceptual understanding and a participant satisfaction survey. The results showed an average improvement of 78% in understanding and a satisfaction rate of 95%. This activity contributed to strengthening students’ capacity for AI-driven innovation and supported the expansion of academic networks and international collaboration in higher education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya keamanan data pribadi di era digital. Latar belakang dari kegiatan ini adalah maraknya penyalahgunaan data pribadi yang berdampak negatif pada keamanan dan privasi individu. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini berfokus pada literasi digital terkait perlindungan data pribadi, sesuai dengan regulasi yang berlaku di Indonesia, seperti UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Perlindungan Data Pribadi. Dalam kegiatan ini, keterampilan yang ditingkatkan mencakup hard skill berupa kemampuan teknis dalam menggunakan fitur keamanan digital (seperti pengaturan privasi, penggunaan kata sandi yang aman, dan deteksi phishing), serta soft skill berupa kesadaran kritis dan etika dalam berbagi data pribadi di ruang digital. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi seminar interaktif dan demonstrasi teknis, yang melibatkan 124 peserta. Sistem evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Kominfo dan Komisi I DPR RI. Mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah Kominfo dan Komisi 1 DPR RI. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya menjaga data pribadi, indikator keamanan digital, serta praktik terbaik dalam penggunaan media sosial dan aplikasi digital sebesar 75%. Penguatan literasi digital sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi risiko penyalahgunaan data pribadi, dan kegiatan edukasi ini menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih aman dan sadar akan pentingnya perlindungan data pribadi.Abstract: This community service activity aims to increase awareness of the importance of personal data security in the digital era. The background of this activity is the rampant misuse of personal data which has a negative impact on individual security and privacy. Therefore, this activity focuses on digital literacy related to personal data protection, in accordance with applicable regulations in Indonesia, such as Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. In this activity, the skills improved include hard skills in the form of technical abilities in using digital security features (such as privacy settings, secure password use, and phishing detection), as well as soft skills in the form of critical awareness and ethics in sharing personal data in the digital space. The implementation method included interactive seminars and technical demonstrations, involving 124 participants. The evaluation system was carried out through pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement of participants' understanding before and after the activity. Abstract

The protection of personal data has become a critical concern in Indonesia, particularly with the increasing cases of data breaches involving healthcare platforms and government institutions. In public services, safeguarding personal data is vital to maintaining citizens’ trust in government systems. This community service program aims to enhance public and stakeholder awareness of regulations, digital technologies, and best practices in personal data protection. Activities were carried out through an educational approach, including seminars and hands-on training. The materials covered the urgency of personal data protection, relevant Indonesian regulations such as Law No. 27 of 2022, and practical digital security techniques such as two-factor authentication, full encryption, and safe internet practices. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of personal data protection and their ability to apply digital security measures. Participants also received technical guidance on the use of emerging technologies, including biometric authentication and secure password management. In conclusion, effective personal data protection in public services requires not only strong legal frameworks but also continuous public engagement through education and technology adoption. This program contributes to building a safer and more trustworthy digital ecosystem in Indonesia and serves as a replicable model for enhancing digital literacy in public institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi meningkatkan kasus penipuan digital, khususnya melalui media sosial dan transaksi keuangan daring, sehingga mengancam keamanan masyarakat di ruang siber. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap berbagai bentuk penipuan digital serta membekali mereka dengan keterampilan praktis untuk menghindarinya. Metode yang digunakan mencakup webinar publik, distribusi infografis dan video edukatif pendek, serta simulasi pelatihan untuk mengenali dan merespons modus penipuan. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan kerja sama dengan 2 mitra institusi yaitu Kominfo dan Komisi 1 DPR RI. Peserta webinar berjumlah 120 orang yang berasal dari wilayah Jakarta Pusat, Jakarta Selatan, serta luar negeri. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta yang signifikan sebesar 75%, ditandai dengan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam mengidentifikasi jenis penipuan digital. Edukasi ini terbukti efektif dalam membangun budaya waspada dan meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat, sehingga mampu menurunkan risiko menjadi korban penipuan di dunia maya.Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has led to a significant increase in digital fraud, particularly through social media and online financial transactions, thereby posing a serious threat to public security in cyberspace. The primary objective of this activity was to enhance public awareness of various forms of digital fraud and to equip participants with practical skills to avoid such threats. The methods employed included a public webinar, the distribution of infographics and short educational videos, as well as training simulations to recognize and respond to fraud schemes. This activity involved collaboration with two institutional partners, namely the Ministry of Communication and Informatics and Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives. The webinar was attended by 120 participants from Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and overseas. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding by 75%, as reflected in their enhanced ability to identify different types of digital fraud. This educational initiative proved effective in fostering a culture of vigilance and improving digital literacy, thereby reducing the risk of becoming victims of online fraud.
