Abstract

This community service program aims to increase community creativity in utilizing the natural resources available in the surrounding environment into useful and beneficial things, especially for the people in Tanah Tengah Village, Palakka District. The strategy used to achieve this goal is through a series of activities starting with field observations, conducting interviews and approaches to housewives who love ornamental plants (flowers), directing them to collect coconut husks around them so that later they can processed into useful things and reduce spending on buying flower pots that are displayed in various places, especially in the market. In addition, increasing creativity in processing coconut coir into flower pots can make local communities have space to open businesses in increasing economic income for the welfare of families and communities so that later they need continuous assistance to produce products that are of interest to various groups of people (taking into account the feasibility of being used as a business). ). Marketing activities are carried out by advertising products on various social media that are needed at all home scales with various product displays (mats and coconut fiber ropes, etc.) that are friendly to the environment and good for the growth of various ornamental plants, especially orchids and open-pore plants.

Abstract

This service aims to use shallot skins as a vegetable pesticide to control aphids and armyworms in Pekalobean Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. The methods used include outreach and training in making vegetable pesticides to local communities. The process of making this pesticide uses natural ingredients such as shallot skins, lemongrass stems and soursop leaves which are easy to obtain and not harmful to the environment. The results of this activity show that the community can understand and practice making plant-based pesticides, so it is hoped that they can reduce dependence on chemical pesticides. This activity not only provides new knowledge but also contributes to reducing onion skin waste. In conclusion, the use of botanical pesticides made from shallot skins is an effective and environmentally friendly solution for sustainable agriculture

Abstract

This research aims to examine the use of a combination of onion skin waste and egg shells as compost for vegetable crops. This community service activity was carried out in Pekalobean Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency, involving the women farmer group (KWT) as the target. The methods used include outreach and training about making compost fertilizer, as well as its benefits and advantages compared to chemical fertilizers. The results of this activity show that the community is enthusiastic and able to understand and apply the knowledge gained in their agricultural practices. This training not only increases people's understanding of compost fertilizer, but also provides an environmentally friendly alternative to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. It is hoped that this activity can support sustainable agriculture and preserve the environment, as well as open up opportunities for further research regarding the effectiveness and innovation in making compost fertilizer from other natural materials.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat oleh Kelompok KKN 139 di Desa Gantiwarno yang bertujuan untuk membantu pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui pemasangan banner dan pembuatan Google Maps. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan kunjungan dan wawancara dengan pemilik UMKM lokal, seperti Pabrik Tahu Sri Pak Ino dan pengusaha jamur. Pemasangan banner berfungsi sebagai penanda lokasi untuk meningkatkan visibilitas UMKM, sehingga mempermudah pengemudi ojek online dan menarik perhatian calon pelanggan. Selain itu, evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah program melalui pengisian kuesioner untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang lokasi UMKM. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah dilakukan tindakan tersebut. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, diharapkan UMKM dapat memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing produk mereka. Program ini mencerminkan pentingnya edukasi tentang teknologi digital dalam membantu pelaku usaha lokal.
