Abstract

Rapid technological advancement brings about major changes to the accounting industry. Because of these changes, accountants must stay up to date on advancements and increase their level of expertise. In the past, the evolution of accounting has been categorized into three distinct eras: the agricultural, industrial, and current information eras. Information technology (IT) will have a greater impact on the accounting industry the more sophisticated it becomes. The audit process is impacted by the advancement of computer-based AIS in financial report production. Although it initially caused concern for the accounting profession, the rise of IT ultimately opened up new opportunities for it. The new opportunities that can be achieved include computer-based information system audits, computer-based information system consultants and web trust audits. Advances in IT brought significant changes to the development of accounting and also brought many benefits for both employees and companies. Web trust audits, computer-based information system consultants, and computer-based information system audits are some of the new prospects that can be realized. The evolution of accounting saw substantial changes as a result of IT advancements, which also had numerous positive effects on businesses and personnel.

Abstract

Manajemen waktu merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan akademik mahasiswa, terutama dalam meningkatkan disiplin absen dan prestasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas manajemen waktu terhadap tingkat kehadiran dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara manajemen waktu dengan tingkat kehadiran mahasiswa, di mana mahasiswa dengan manajemen waktu yang baik memiliki rata-rata kehadiran sebesar 96%, sementara mahasiswa dengan manajemen waktu kurang hanya mencapai 72%. Selain itu, ditemukan pula bahwa manajemen waktu berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik, dengan rata-rata IPK mahasiswa yang memiliki manajemen waktu baik sebesar 3.80, lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa dengan manajemen waktu kurang yang hanya memperoleh IPK rata-rata 2.75. Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa yang mampu mengatur waktu dengan baik cenderung lebih disiplin dalam menghadiri perkuliahan dan memiliki prestasi akademik yang lebih tinggi. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan keterampilan manajemen waktu melalui pelatihan atau bimbingan akademik dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi mahasiswa secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

In Sidorejo Hilir Village, there is an outlet that sells MSME food and beverage products which are managed by the lurah office staff, in the process of recording sales, purchases and stock of goods is still done manually or written into a book, which often results in incorrect recording of inventory. as well as sales and purchase reports. The method used is observation, interviews and literature methods to complete the data needed in compiling the Final Project. For this reason, a sales and purchasing information system is needed that can assist staff in recording sales reports and inventory reports, so that they are faster, more efficient and effective.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial management in boarding houses by designing and implementing a Cash Receipt Information System. Kos Rainbow is selected as a case study due to the complexity of managing cash receipts from various sources, such as room rent, additional services, and deposits. The research methodology includes system requirement analysis, database design, application development, and implementation testing. Data obtained from interviews with the boarding house owner, direct observation, and documentation will be utilized to design a system tailored to specific needs. Anticipated benefits include improved time efficiency, reduced potential for human errors in cash receipt recording, and providing the boarding house owner with more accurate and real-time financial information for more timely decision-making. The implementation of this cash receipt information system is expected to create better financial governance, enhance the quality of services to boarders, and assist boarding house owners in making strategic decisions related to financial management.

Abstract

The use of Information Technology (IT) now plays an essential role in the success of an organization's business. By storing information digitally, a company is able to access customer information and process its orders quickly. A doctor can immediately give action to patients after accessing complete patient medical records without having to unpack paper files stored in the hospital. This can be done thanks to the computer-based system used to process information, specifically the Management Information System (SIM). Imelda Perkaja Indonesia Hospital is a Type B referral hospital in Medan City, North Sumatra, where there are often patients who are unable to make payments after treatment both outpatient and inpatient, especially patients pay themselves, where every patient who is unable to pay, this author makes a patient receivables payment system. Management utilizes PHP programming language and MySql database where patient receivables data has been recorded by the computer and the validation process of patient receivables payments, as for several features in this patient receivables information system where patient data input and patient receivables recording can be done.

Abstract

Advances in information technology at this time have an important role in helping human activities or work. The role of information technology is very influential in various aspects of life, both for individuals and organizations / agencies. Many organizations or agencies have utilized information technology to provide services for their business activities. However, not all business organizations have utilized the use of information systems and technology as a supporting medium for their business activities. One of them is in the field of hospitality. Hotel Deli Indah is one of the hotels located in Deli Serdang district. This hotel information is needed by the community as a place that provides several things. Such as lodging, food and drinks. However, with the website of parties who need information about the hotel, simply open the hotel website that is online and real time. To overcome these problems, we offer solutions to overcome various problems mentioned above. The solution is in the form of a Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application. This system was developed with the hope that it can help the hotel in terms of updating information will be easier to do where later the school information system can run faster than the current system and of course to parties who need information can directly search for hotel information by directly opening the hotel website. The objectives of PKM in general are: Can help the community in general, to disseminate information quickly, efficiently and effectively. Along with the development of Information Technology, the website no longer just offers product value, but goes to the back office system (management of office systems / agencies / schools) online and real time. The purpose of the Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application is to assist hotels in the process of public information services, thus providing support for better school data processing. Target to be achieved: Providing updated information media services through internet media to the wider community about Hotel Deli Indah.
