Abstract

In general, the implementation of the selection of outstanding teachers has been running smoothly in accordance with predetermined criteria. However, it is felt that the implementation is still not optimal so that improvements need to be made, especially in the assessment aspect. In evaluating the selection of outstanding teachers at SMAS Imelda Medan, there are several assessment criteria namely Obedience, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, assessment of the learning process, teacher activity in schools and honesty. In order for the implementation of the teacher selection to work, this is what makes the need for a decision support system that is able to provide consistency of assessment with the application of normalization and provide convenience in the results of the value to be determined from each test. The decision support system used in this study is to use the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method strongly supports the assessment of criteria and weighting of values. The criteria used are based on the results of data analysis and the results of the assessment of each test. This system is also useful for schools in determining and calculating scores in determining teachers who deserve to get awards in the selection of outstanding teachers. The purpose of this research is to develop a system decision support that can facilitate the process selection of outstanding teachers and applying the SAW method in a decision support system to facilitate in determine the ranking of outstanding teachers.

Abstract

Forecasting is an estimate or prediction regarding the occurrence of an event or events in the future or is a study of historical data to find systematic relationships, trends and patterns. This research discusses how to predict or forecast student graduation rates. By utilizing student master data and student graduation data, it is hoped that we can produce information about graduation rates using student master data through Forecasting techniques. The graduation rate category is measured by length of study and GPA. The algorithm used is an a priori algorithm, the information displayed is in the form of support and confidence values ​​for each graduation level category.

Abstract

One of the biggest issues in managing higher education is course scheduling, where a variety of criteria need to be taken into account in a balanced way, including lecturer availability, classroom size, and student preferences. This procedure can be greatly optimized by using the A* method, also referred to as the optimal path finding algorithm. Applying the A* technique to course scheduling decisions is the goal of this research, which attempts to improve efficiency and happiness for all stakeholders.A customized A* algorithm is designed and implemented as part of the research process to manage scheduling characteristics such lecturer schedule compatibility, space allocation, and time slots. We tested this technique on scheduling data from an Indonesian university. The results of the tests indicate that the A* approach can yield a more optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an optimal course schedule at STMIK Mulia Darma, with the aim of reducing the number of conflicting courses, equalizing the student burden, and maximizing the use of classrooms. The optimization process is carried out through determining the course schedule using a genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithms were chosen because of their ability to solve large-scale and complex problems, making them suitable for handling complex course scheduling problems that involve many variables and constraints. It is hoped that the results of this study will produce an optimal course schedule, taking into account course clashes, student loads, and classroom use efficiency. After research, the optimal course schedule was obtained.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang terintegrasi yang disiapkan untuk menangani keseluruhan proses manajemen Rumah Sakit, mulai dari pelayanan diagnosa dan tindakan untuk pasien, medical record, apotek, gudang farmasi, penagihan, database personalia, penggajian karyawan, proses akuntansi sampai dengan pengendalian oleh manajemen. Sistem Informasi Manajemen saat ini merupakan sumber daya utama, yang mempunyai nilai strategis dan mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting sebagai daya saing serta kompetensi utama sebuah organisasi dalam menyongsong era informasi ini. Seiring dengan perjalanan kegiatan operasional rumah sakit, dijumpai banyak sekali kendala yang menimbulkan permasalahan yang mengganggu aktifitas sehari-hari. Karena sebagian aktifitas masih dilakukan secara manual, otomatis mempersulit dan memperlambat petugas rumah sakit untuk melayani pasien, baik yang ingin berobat, rawat inap, rawat jalan, instalasi gawat darurat, instalasi bedah, rekam medis, dan layanan-layanan lainnya yang diperuntukkan untuk masyarakat. Selain masalah tersebut, Rumah Sakit juga kesulitan dalam mengatur akuntansi keuangannya (menyiapkan laporan keuangan). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami sebagai tim pengembang sistem informasi berbasis web menawarkan solusi untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang sudah disebutkan di atas. Solusi tersebut berupa Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan harapan dapat membantu dalam proses pengadministrasian aktifitas operasional rumah sakit dan pendokumentasian transaksi keuangannya.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 requires students to possess strong, adaptive character and be ready to face rapid technological developments. This article discusses the implementation of the "Dirandra Acalapati Nispatti" model in building student character at Universitas Imelda Medan. This model focuses on the development of integrity, leadership, and skills in optimally utilizing technology. The study examines the implementation of seminars involving new students and faculty members as an effort to introduce values of character and skills relevant to the challenges of Society 5.0. The results show that this model effectively enhances students' leadership, communication, critical thinking, and innovation skills. Through an approach that integrates academic, social, and technological aspects, this seminar makes a positive contribution to shaping students' character, preparing them to compete in the workforce and adapt to societal changes. The study also highlights the crucial role of faculty in mentoring and developing students' competencies, as well as the importance of ongoing eval_uation to improve education quality in the digital age

Abstract

Website design skills are one of the important competencies needed in the digital era, especially for Vocational High School (SMK) students who are directed to be ready for work. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy and technical skills of SMK 1 Parulian students through training in creating a simple website using the WordPress platform. The implementation method includes preparation stages, direct training implementation, and evaluation in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the concept and practice of website creation, as evidenced by the increase in post-test scores and students' success in creating a functional personal website. In addition, feedback from the questionnaire showed that participants felt enthusiastic and rated this training as very beneficial for their skill development. With this training, it is hoped that vocational school students will be able to develop their potential in the field of information technology, especially in WordPress-based digital content management.

Abstract

Advances in communication and information technology need to be continuously adapted to various disciplines, including education. Nowadays, Photoshop is one of the most widely used editing software by designers to produce quality images. Factors that influence efforts to improve users' Photoshop learning abilities include teacher competence, learning facilities, learning environment, user learning motivation, and learning models used. To support Photoshop learning, it is necessary to design an attractive learning media. Computer-Based Instruction is one of the techniques commonly used to create a learning application, CBI is usually used for making interesting designs that apply human-computer interaction and how learning materials are made. And it can help users understand and further increase user enthusiasm and motivation to learn Photoshop. Macromedia Flash is a program used to design a learning application that describes the learning storyline. Photoshop CS 3 tutorial is designed using Macromedia Flash 8 which can be easily understood by users in the learning process.

Abstract

Utilization of Information Technology (IT) now plays an essential role in the success of an organization's business. By storing information digitally, a company is able to access customer information and process orders quickly. A doctor can immediately give action to the patient after accessing the patient's complete medical record without having to disassemble the paper archives stored in the hospital. This can be done thanks to the existence of a computer-based system that is used to process information, specifically the Management Information System (MIS). Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Hospital is a Type B referral hospital in the city of Medan, North Sumatra, where it often happens that patients are unable to make payments after treatment, both outpatient and inpatient, especially patients who pay for themselves, where every patient who is unable to pay, this is The author makes a patient receivables payment system. Management utilizes the PHP programming language and MySQL database where the patient's receivable data has been recorded by the computer as well as the patient's receivable payment validation process, as for some of the features that exist in this patient receivables information system where patient data input can be done and record of patient receivables.
