Abstract

Physics is a branch of science or natural science that has an important role in advancing human thinking and thinking. Physics is the science of nature, which studies the basic elements that make up the universe, the forces acting in it, and their consequences covering a wide range from the subatomic particles that make up all matter to the behavior of the universe as a single cosmos. Science or Natural Sciences (IPA) is concerned with finding out about nature systematically, so that Science is not only the mastery of a collection of knowledge in the form of facts, concepts, or principles but also as a process of discovery. Through the high school level physical science learning application using the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) method, it is hoped that it can increase the user knowledge in understanding straight motion kinematics material

Abstract

The development of information technology today requires fast and accurate information in its implementation. Appointment of employees who perform well with the support of a decision support system is one implementation of the development of information technology. Research that uses the AHP method in this decision support system produces an appointment decision support system application that can be used in companies. The criteria used in this employee hiring decision support system are: Quality of employee work. The results of this study are to produce a ranking order of the selected good performing employee candidates, and the output of the application can assist decision makers in selecting alternative employee appointments. The application in this study is implemented using the VB programming language. NET 2008 and the database uses MySQL. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is a method used in designing decision support systems. The concept used by the AHP method is to change the value of a qualitative Decision Support System into a quantitative value. So that the decisions taken can be more objective. By using the Analytical Hierarchy Process, it is hoped that the process of hiring employees will be more effective and efficient so that company leaders quickly get the value of employees who will be appointed as permanent employees to get the expected results.

Abstract

In general, the implementation of the selection of outstanding teachers has been running smoothly in accordance with predetermined criteria. However, it is felt that the implementation is still not optimal so that improvements need to be made, especially in the assessment aspect. In evaluating the selection of outstanding teachers at SMAS Imelda Medan, there are several assessment criteria namely Obedience, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, assessment of the learning process, teacher activity in schools and honesty. In order for the implementation of the teacher selection to work, this is what makes the need for a decision support system that is able to provide consistency of assessment with the application of normalization and provide convenience in the results of the value to be determined from each test. The decision support system used in this study is to use the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method strongly supports the assessment of criteria and weighting of values. The criteria used are based on the results of data analysis and the results of the assessment of each test. This system is also useful for schools in determining and calculating scores in determining teachers who deserve to get awards in the selection of outstanding teachers. The purpose of this research is to develop a system decision support that can facilitate the process selection of outstanding teachers and applying the SAW method in a decision support system to facilitate in determine the ranking of outstanding teachers.

Abstract

Forecasting is an estimate or prediction regarding the occurrence of an event or events in the future or is a study of historical data to find systematic relationships, trends and patterns. This research discusses how to predict or forecast student graduation rates. By utilizing student master data and student graduation data, it is hoped that we can produce information about graduation rates using student master data through Forecasting techniques. The graduation rate category is measured by length of study and GPA. The algorithm used is an a priori algorithm, the information displayed is in the form of support and confidence values ​​for each graduation level category.

Abstract

One of the biggest issues in managing higher education is course scheduling, where a variety of criteria need to be taken into account in a balanced way, including lecturer availability, classroom size, and student preferences. This procedure can be greatly optimized by using the A* method, also referred to as the optimal path finding algorithm. Applying the A* technique to course scheduling decisions is the goal of this research, which attempts to improve efficiency and happiness for all stakeholders.A customized A* algorithm is designed and implemented as part of the research process to manage scheduling characteristics such lecturer schedule compatibility, space allocation, and time slots. We tested this technique on scheduling data from an Indonesian university. The results of the tests indicate that the A* approach can yield a more optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an optimal course schedule at STMIK Mulia Darma, with the aim of reducing the number of conflicting courses, equalizing the student burden, and maximizing the use of classrooms. The optimization process is carried out through determining the course schedule using a genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithms were chosen because of their ability to solve large-scale and complex problems, making them suitable for handling complex course scheduling problems that involve many variables and constraints. It is hoped that the results of this study will produce an optimal course schedule, taking into account course clashes, student loads, and classroom use efficiency. After research, the optimal course schedule was obtained.

Abstract

Generasi Bintang School (Genbi) is one of the schools that implements teacher performance assessment to ensure a quality learning process for all students and to determine teacher promotion. The obstacle is that this assessment process is very complicated, if done manually, it takes a long time and is prone to errors in the assessment report or recap along with other data reports. This makes teacher performance appraisals ineffective. Based on the problems that occur, the author created a Teacher Performance Appraisal Information System to facilitate data collection, data search, assessment process, and report making. The research method carried out is a field study including observation and interviews, as well as conducting literature studies. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that agencies need a new system to increase effectiveness and efficiency in the teacher performance appraisal process.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 as it is today, there has been a rapid development in the field of technology in various countries including in Indonesia itself. The development of technology in computer networks caused a rapid increase in the field of telecommunications marked by the emergence of the internet. This technological advancement requires agencies to follow technological developments and continue to improve their ability to manage data and information. Villages as the smallest part of the administrative government system in Indosenia, are required to be able to follow technological developments and continue to improve their ability to manage population administration data. Public services in Balohili Gomo Village include all services in the village or village such as the administrative field that serves the community in making a letter or other mail carrier. There are many types of public services in the village, especially in making correspondence and other matters related to the community in a village and in its implementation it is still not neatly organized, making it difficult to find letters needed by the community. Designing an administrative information system at the Balohili Gomo Village office is one of the objectives of this study.

Abstract

Advances in information technology at this time have an important role in helping human activities or work. The role of information technology is very influential in various aspects of life, both for individuals and organizations / agencies. Many organizations or agencies have utilized information technology to provide services for their business activities. However, not all business organizations have utilized the use of information systems and technology as a supporting medium for their business activities. One of them is in the field of hospitality. Hotel Deli Indah is one of the hotels located in Deli Serdang district. This hotel information is needed by the community as a place that provides several things. Such as lodging, food and drinks. However, with the website of parties who need information about the hotel, simply open the hotel website that is online and real time. To overcome these problems, we offer solutions to overcome various problems mentioned above. The solution is in the form of a Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application. This system was developed with the hope that it can help the hotel in terms of updating information will be easier to do where later the school information system can run faster than the current system and of course to parties who need information can directly search for hotel information by directly opening the hotel website. The objectives of PKM in general are: Can help the community in general, to disseminate information quickly, efficiently and effectively. Along with the development of Information Technology, the website no longer just offers product value, but goes to the back office system (management of office systems / agencies / schools) online and real time. The purpose of the Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application is to assist hotels in the process of public information services, thus providing support for better school data processing. Target to be achieved: Providing updated information media services through internet media to the wider community about Hotel Deli Indah.

Abstract

The community service program entitled "Digitalization of MSMEs: Helping Small Businesses Use Technology" aims to increase the capacity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in utilizing digital technology to optimize operations and expand their market reach. MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges in adopting digital technology due to limited knowledge and resources. The program involves intensive training and hands-on mentoring on the use of digital technology, including online marketing tools, inventory management systems, and e-commerce platforms. The methods used include practical training sessions, workshops and individual mentoring. Evaluations show that participants experienced significant improvements in their technology understanding, digital skills and business performance. The program recommends the need for continued support and better access to technological resources to ensure the success and sustainability of MSME digitalization in the future.
