Abstract

In the context of globalization and cultural diversity, religious education needs to accommodate societal diversity to remain relevant and inclusive. This research employs a curriculum development approach to design a model that integrates Islamic values with the concept of multiculturalism, aiming to develop a Multicultural-Based Islamic Religious Education curriculum. The methodology utilized a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings of the research emphasize the importance of a multicultural-based Islamic religious education curriculum, given that Indonesia is a diverse nation comprising various ethnicities, languages, religions, and cultures. Implementing a multicultural-based Islamic religious education curriculum is expected to have a positive impact on fostering harmony and tolerance among individuals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum is being implemented in fiqh learning at MAN 1 Jombang. The main focus of this research includes three aspects: the Merdeka Curriculum's implementation, including its design, execution, and assessment of learning, as well as the elements that facilitate and hinder it. A qualitative approach with a descriptive focus is the research methodology employed. Methods for gathering data include documentation, interviews, and observation. Data gathering, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are all part of data analysis. Data validity is ensured through source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that in the planning stage, teachers participated in socialization, training, and workshops, formed teaching teams, and prepared learning tools. The implementation of learning gives full freedom to teachers without intervention from the madrasah. Learning evaluation is based on learning outcome indicators focused on students, with initial assessments, formative assessments through discussions, presentations, and written reflections, and summative assessments that include written tests, observations, and performance sheets. Supporting factors include the availability of complete learning media, high enthusiasm and motivation from students, and adequate teacher competence. But there are a number of challenges, such time constraints and confusion among some teachers in implementing the new curriculum. The It is anticipated that the study's findings will enhance the caliber of fiqh instruction.

Abstract

This research explores the application of multiculturalism values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education at SMAN 1 Kota Batu. Considering that Indonesia is a country with diverse ethnicities, nations, and religions, an inclusive educational strategy is needed to enhance tolerance and respect for differences. This research's primary focus is on the planning and implementation of multiculturalism values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education. With a case study methodology, this research employs a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used to gather data. The findings of the study indicate that the planning aligns with the profile of Pancasila student reinforcement and the application of a contextual approach, teaching that includes cultural diversity, collaborative activities, and character education, thereby providing a positive effect on multiculturalism values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the validity of online marriage contracts according to Islamic law by examining the perspectives of various schools of fiqh and Indonesian positive law. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. To enhance data validity, the researcher used source triangulation. The findings show that scholars differ in their opinions regarding the validity of online marriage. The Shafi'i, Maliki, and Hanbali schools reject it due to the emphasis on physical presence, while the Hanafi school permits it as long as the offer and acceptance are conducted simultaneously, even if from different locations. In Indonesia, online marriage is not yet regulated by law, but the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) allows it if a representative is used. These findings reflect that, although technology allows for online marriage contracts, caution in adhering to the essential conditions of the contract remains a primary concern.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students, caused by the limited variety of learning methods and media, are a problem that needs to be overcome in the world of education. This study aims to: (1) analyze the influence of the use of Smart Board digital media on improving student learning outcomes in fiqh zakat materials; and (2) comparing learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of a non-equivalent control group type. Data collection instruments include measurement of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects through pretest and posttest. The results of the analysis showed that the use of Smart Boards significantly improved student learning outcomes. In the cognitive aspect, the average score increased from 49.17 to 76.90 (p < 0.001); in affective aspects from 49.59 to 73.66 (p < 0.001); and on the psychomotor aspect from 49.56 to 73.79 (p < 0.001). Multivariate Variance Analysis (MANOVA) showed significant differences between the experimental and control groups (Wilks' Lambda = 0.524, F(3, 56) = 16.928, p < 0.001) with a Partial Squared Eta value of 0.476. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the use of Smart Board media contributed to an increase in student learning outcomes by 47.6%. The implications of this study show the importance of integrating interactive digital media in improving learning effectiveness.
