Abstract

The objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of some sawdust combinationsas growth medium on the growth and the yield of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The research was conducted at Boyaoge village, Palu, Central Sulawesi from February to April 2013. This study used experimental method by Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with sixsawdust combination treatments, i.e; sawdust of Palapi (Heritiera sp.) and Cempaka (Elmerrilia sp.) (M1), Palapi (Heritiera sp.) and Gmelina (Gmelina arborea) (M2), Palapi (Heritiera sp.) and Durian (Durio sp.) (M3), Cempaka (Elmerrilia sp.) and Durian (Durio sp.) (M4), Cempaka (Elmerrilia sp.) and Gmelina (Gmelina arborea) (M5) and Durian (Durio sp.) and Gmelina (Gmelina arborea) (M6).The results showed that all combinations of sawdust significantly affected all growth variables assessed. Combination of Cempaka and Gmelina sawdust (M5) gave the higher of the number of fruiting bodies (5,8) and cap length (5,376 cm). Combination of Cempaka and Palapi sawdust (M1) gave the higher of cap diameter (10,028 cm). Hence, combination of Palapi and Gmelina sawdust (M2) gave the higher of fresh weight of fruiting bodies (98,6 g), while combination of Durian and Gmelina sawdust (M6) gave the higher of dry weight of fruiting bodies (5,8 g). Abstract

Islamic educational institutions still face a fundamental problem of which is related to the quality and quantity of teachers, has been done activities of education and training but those activities cannot solve that problems because the material of training oriented to development of hard skill,whereas fundamental problem human resources is related with lack of soft skill. Teacher’s behavior based on motivation and encouragement of high spirit because they have a concept that being teacher is a noble task. One of task of teacher is teach students to understand their God andtheir tasks in this world, make smart and personality student, education understood as an effective way to establish Allah’s religion and develop this country, education will determine the future of mankind and nation. The behavior of teacher in teaching task performed by spirit to teach and educate, love the profession and able to share their love and affection to their students able to create effective situation of learning. Teacher behavior shows the ability of personal and social religious, and professional competencies that impact to their way as effective teacher.Keyword: Teacher’s behavior Spiritual values, effective education

Abstract

Providing education in both public and private schools can’t be separated from values, behavioral norms, beliefs and culture. Moreover, the schools run by religious foundations that nuance of course not merely seen as worldly matters, but also practice ukhrowi (religious), then the understanding of course can’t be separated from values of religious teachings. The values found in the organizational culture at the Madrasah achievers in Malang include: (a) the basic values of Islam which include: Tauhid (Oneness of Allah); worship (devotion) and the unity between the world of the Hereafter, (b) the values of citizens schools which include: jihad (struggle); trust (responsibility); sincere; ikhsan (quality); discipline; exemplary; brotherhood and kinship and values of students in academic increase.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the planning, implementation, as well supporting and inhibiting factors in the affective assessment process using Google Form in the New Normal era in PAI SMKN 2 Magetan using a qualitative research approach with descriptive research type. 1) affective assessment planning consists of conducting  KI / KD, determining the objective of the assessment, making a grid, selecting the type of instrument, and making scoring guidelines; 2) the implementation of affective assessments consisting of designing the instrument design, socializing the filling of the Google Form, asking students to complete the affective assessment, data processing and reporting the results; 3) the supporting factors for the implementation of affective assessment with Google Form consist of all parties who have tried their best, the government provides concessions to schools, students and teachers communicate actively, assessments are objective, comprehensive, economical, safety , and students' health is guaranteed. The inhibiting factors for affective assessment using Google Form consist of decreased student learning motivation, students experience internet network problems, teachers cannot monitor students directly.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan perkotaan yang menjadi masalah sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya. Dan hampir disemua kota di Indonesia mengalami kendala dalam mengelola sampah. Sama halnya seperti yang terjadi di wilayah Karawang, Jawa barat. Untuk itu pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan PLTSa sebagai solusi pemanfaatan sampah. Salah satu bagian dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah (PLTSa) adalah cerobong. Yang menjadi permasalahan dari pembakaran sampah adalah asap, bau, dan panas yang dihasilkan. Pada penelitian ini penulis membuat mesin cerobong incinerator PLTSa dengan sistem air pollution control untuk mengurangi emisi gas buang hasil pembakaran sampah di incinerator. Dari hasil pengujian cerobong incinerator PLTSa dengan sistem air pollution control suhu output terbesar 35,6℃, untuk uji emisi gas buang kandungan CO pada cerobong sebelum di filter 0,64% dan kadar HC 82 ppm dan setelah menggunakan filter menjadi 0,46% dan kadar HC sebesar 68 ppm. Selanjutnya terjadi juga perubahan pada kandungan CO2, tidak menggunakan filter sebesar 9,7% dan kadar O2 sebesar 10,97%. Ketika menggunakan filter, kandungan CO2  menurun menjadi 6,3% dan kandungan O2 meningkat menjadi 14,11%.

Abstract

Increasing the quality of human resources required a change in mental attitude of individuals and the creation and organization of a conducive learning environment. The process can be done with the creation of community learning. Learning community understands the concept of man as the figure of the learner (Learner), which puts the act of his life studying the totality of the scheme, not just in schools, universities and other educational institutions, but also within families and the general public. Mental construct of society is unwilling or lazy to learn to study hard or mentally as a human learner, not just by relying on internal change of their individual. Organizing the learning environment to be conducive to the establishment is a necessity that the learning environment. Learning environment that is expected to manifest both in the schools, families and communities. And through the creation of Islamic Learning Community is expected that the process of internalization of Islamic values ​​in society through the container and the behavior of religious activities in the community.

Abstract

Achievement or added values of an educational institution is higly influenced by invisible (soft) dimensions in the form of organization culture values, which comprise values, beliefs, cultures and behavior norms. These values can give spirit to the work of organization through transformation process as a changing step of the reflection or internalization of spiritual values. This, in turn, becomes individual and organizational values of an educational institution which can produce an outcome in the form of school organization culture, that is behavior or customs performed by the members of the organization consistently in solving various problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the management of extracurricular activities in improving students' non-academic achievement at MAN 1 Malang and MA Al-Khoirot Malang, with sub-focuses including: (1) planning extracurricular activities, (2) implementing extracurricular activities, (3) evaluating activities extracurricular, (4) non-academic achievements produced. This study uses a qualitative approach by designing a multi-site study. The data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. Sources of research data include school principals, vice principals, and coordinator of extracurricular activities. The results showed that: The management of extracurricular activities at MAN 1  and MA Al-Khoirot Malang has been carried out well. This can be seen from the indicators of the management of extracurricular activities carried out and from the results,  the existence of extracurricular activity planning, implementation and evaluation, as well as the achievements he achieved in one year showed an increase. This is due to the well-planned and well-implemented management of extracurricular activities, as well as the gradual evaluation according to the program so that students experience an increase in their non-academic achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak Inovasi pendidikan dan pembelajaran adalah gagasan baru sebagai hasil pemikiran kembali untuk memecahkan persoalan yang tidak terpecahkan oleh cara-cara tradisional. Materi PAI yang sulit/lambat dipahami oleh peserta didik dapat dipecahkan dengan ide yang inovatif dan terbarukan. Memahami inovasi tidak hanya dari faktor kekinian atau bahkan launching pertama di dunia, tapi juga melihat sisi karakteristiknya. Karakteristik inovasi pendidikan dan pembelajaran PAI adalah relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, dan observability. Empat karakteristik yang referesentatif untuk mengidentifikasi eksistensi ide inovatif, sehingga inovasi yang digagas betul-betul memberi daya guna kepada peserta didik. Inovasi dibutuhkan strategi yang jitu, yaitu power coercive, rational empirical dan normative-re-educative. Juga strategi inovasi pendidikan Islam secara teoritis-konseptual dan strategi inovasi pendidikan Islam secara aplikatif-institusional.

Abstract

Dalam upaya menyusun/membuat, merancang kurikulum baru, memutakhirkan dan menyempurnakan kurikulum, melaksanakan kurikulum, dan mengelola kurikulum pendidikan dasar sekaligus mengembangkan kurikulum berbasis karakter. Pengendalian ini meliputi pemantauan dan evaluasi kurikulum, serta memodifikasinya. Pengembangan kurikulum harus didasarkan pada nilai-nilai agama, pancasila, budaya, dan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Ke-18 nilai yang diturunkan dari empat pilar tersebut adalah: Religius, Kejujuran, Toleransi, Disiplin, Kerja Keras, Kreativitas, Kemandirian, Kerakyatan, Rasa Ingin Tahu, Semangat Kebangsaan, Cinta Tanah Air, Menghargai Prestasi, Ramah/Komunikatif, Cinta Damai, Cinta pada sesama.
