Abstract

Hadith science is a science that is closely related to history. A hadith can be said to be authentic if it has the quality of continuous sanad and fair narrators. The problem is, in moving towards justice, there are striking differences between Sunnis and Shiites. Sunnis are of the view that all the companions of the Prophet must be 'just. So there is no need to doubt the hadith narrated by them. On the other hand, the Shiites consider that they all apostated after the death of the Prophet Muhammad and they died as infidels. As a result of this disbelief, the friends are automatically eliminated from being fair. Because the first condition for justice is Islam. Each of these two groups quoted many verses from the Koran and hadith to strengthen their arguments. This article will explain the polemic of the debate on the nature of justice between Sunnis and Shiites. Firstly by explaining the meaning of Companions, the views of the two groups, and finally criticizing the opinions and arguments used by the two groups above. This research uses the library research method by examining the opinions expressed by the ulama, including the interpretation of verses, hadith sharah, and the ijtihad of the fuqoha'.

Abstract

.  Islamic philosophy and religion have undergone long phases of ups and downs, becoming a dialectic of science. Religion and philosophy in the academic world view are two entities that cannot be separated when studied academically to find the truth. Ibn Rushd asserted that the religion of sharia and the philosophy of wisdom do not conflict. Indeed, there was tension between theologians, especially al-Ghazâlî in Tahâfut al-Falasifah, and Islamic philosophers, especially peripatetic philosophers, such as Ibn Sina. This tension is reflected in Ibn Rushd's statement that "reproach from friends hurts more than reproach from enemies, because according to him, religion and philosophy are actually brothers." The research in this article uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a Library Research approach, visualizing and analyzing the phenomena in this research study. The data sources in this research come from various information, journals, and writings resulting from research on the dialectics of Islamic philosophy and religion. The focus of discussion in this article has three focuses of discussion starting from measuring the relationship between Islamic philosophy and religion, characteristics of philosophy and religion in Islam, and dialectics of philosophy and Islamic religious teachings. Philosophy and religion are two entities that cannot be separated and will continue to be discussed and studied because they are academic studies, in search of scientific and rational truth.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that exists as a religion today, where many universal questions are discussed, one of the main topics of today's big questions is democracy in politics. Although Islam talks about democracy, ironically, Islam itself does not specifically mention the ideal form of a political system. In this context, the discussion about the ideal political formula becomes clearly important among Muslims in modern times, especially against the backdrop of Western civilization which can be said to have destroyed Muslims with its culture. In the midst of this chaotic situation, contemporary Muslim intellectuals present as Muslim thinkers who seek to present the "ideal" concept of modern Islamic politics. In this study, the author tries to emphasize that the substantive principles of Islam must be applied in the country's political system, in this case theistic democracy exists as a legacy from the problematic modern state. Democracy, or deliberation in Islamic nomenclature, is one of the ethical values of constitutional politics in current political life.
