Abstract

The ability to think creatively is very important for students to develop creativity in solving students' mathematical problems. The low ability of students' creative thinking is a problem in developing students' mathematical problem solving creativity. The purpose of this study was to identify whether there were differences in students' creative thinking skills before and after using the picture and picture learning model. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Bacin, totaling 24 students. The research method used was quasi-experimental using a one group pretest posttest design. The data collection technique used in this study was a observation and also multiple choice test to measure students' creative thinking abilities. Data analysis was performed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average score on the posttest was higher than the average score on the pretest, which was 70.9%. This shows an increase in students' creative thinking skills after using the picture and picture learning model. In addition, the research results also show that the significance value obtained is 0.000, which means it is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This indicates that there is a significant difference between students' creative thinking abilities before and after using the picture and picture learning model.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia, especially at the elementary level, still faces big challenges, especially in terms of literacy and numeracy. This difficulty is more pronounced in remote areas, such as what happened at SD Negeri 3 MayongLor, Jepara. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) launched the Class 6 Teaching Campus Program to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students in these schools. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of implementing playing techniques, with a focus on improving students' literacy and numeracy skills and knowing the advantages and disadvantages of playing techniques in the Class 6 Teaching Campus program at SD Negeri 3 MayongLor. The research method used was quantitative and qualitative, involving 30 students as research subjects. Data was collected through observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation during the three months of program implementation. The results of the questionnaire show that 60% of students strongly agree that learning literacy and numeracy is fun, 66% of students strongly agree and agree that they are motivated to learn literacy and numeracy through playing techniques, 53% of students strongly agree and agree that they can master literacy and numeracy effectively and 51% Students strongly agree that they can master literacy and numeracy through digital-based play techniques.  It can be concluded that there is effectiveness in improving literacy and numeracy learning outcomes through techniques in the Class 6 Teaching Campus Program at SD Negeri 3 MayongLor.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the use of flash cards in an effort to introduce human body parts to children with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Cendono Kudus. This type of research uses a qualitative method through a case study approach. The data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, and photo documentation. The subject of this research is subject R, a fourth-grade student at SLB diagnosed with a low level of intellectual disability. This research employs data analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that using flash card media shows the subject's interest in naming human body parts, although it is still imperfect and requires assistance from others. The use of attractive pictorial flash cards also results in the subject responding positively to the ongoing learning process. Additionally, the use of flash card media in teaching children with intellectual disabilities must be done repeatedly to help the subject better remember the names of human body parts.
