Abstract

In the midst of modern currents full of new things, it is undeniable that friction between things that have never happened has occurred. With this, Muslims need to be wary because they do not have halal law or not. One of the many foundations of legal establishment is Qiyas. Where Qiyas is used to determine a law if there is no definite proposition that establishes the law so that Qiyas here is one of the solutions used. The purpose of this writing is to explain about qiyas and its application in the modern era. The research method used is library research or literature study with descriptive analysis. The results found that 1) Qiyas is a legal method used by looking at the similarities between the postulates that have problems with problems that occur in the modern era. 2) There are three common types of qiyas including: Qiyas Awlawi, Musawi and Adwan. These three qiyas are actually the same, only the difference lies in the context of the problem. 3) Implementation that can be applied is to know the problem, look for legal propositions that explain the problem, if there are none then look for those that have the same type, then look for similarities and differences and then set the law. An example is about the viral wisky and soju laws, where the related propositions do not exist, but those who talk about the same kind are about khamar because it has in common that it is intoxicating so that the law is haram.

Abstract

Abstract People should have good ethics and morals. However, in the modern era, morality towards God and man began to decline. This is evidenced by the many viral news and people's daily lives that have deviated. They feel that they are far away and cannot be changed because it has become who they are. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate how to behave toward God and man without exaggeration so that good is more apparent than bad. The research method used is literature study, with historical-critical-philosophical approach and descriptive-analytical analysis. The results were that 1) Ibn Miskawaih's ethical thinking was built on his view of the human soul. Where man first knows his soul by cleansing from heart disease and excessive love for the world. Heart disease and soul cleansing can be done by always learning a lot to do good, staying away from greedy friends, living in simple circumstances even though it has advantages, preparing to fight lust, learning about religion, and introspection. 2) The importance of the middle position as a guide in the point of goodness according to Ibn Miskawaih is important. Where one must not be extreme deficient or extreme excessive. It must be a middle extreme or middle position which is said to be the true good and must be used as the foundation of the individual. 3) Implementation can be done by cleansing the heart, then getting used to doing good so that later it becomes a habit that leads to divine health. The culmination of Ibn Miskawaih's ethical thought from the above is being able to do good directly without thinking because it has become a habit to do good. Keywords: Ethics, Ibn Miskawaih, and Implementation.

Abstract

Indonesia is known for its many kinds of differences. Behind the friction that occurs, there are also many exemplary differences because they are able to create tolerance and social harmony of a strong community such as Islam and Hinduism in the Tengger Tribe. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the importance and practice of tolerance and harmonization between Islam and Hinduism that needs to be emulated through religious activities such as Eid al-Fitr and Nyepi Day. This study uses a qualitative type of anthropological approach by collecting the main data sources from interviews with three Islamic religious leaders, five Hindu religious leaders, and seven communities. Secondary data sources from books, and other papers and analyzed using B Miles and Huberman's theory. The results show that 1) the tolerance and harmonization of the Hindu Islamic community in the tengger tribe towards Eid al-Fitr worship is very strong. For example, during fasting, the Hindu people prefer to hide their food, when breaking the fast there are some who distribute free takjil and some participate in selling takjil. Every night of worship with hadrah never disturbed them. During holidays, they tend to help secure the course of worship by becoming a parking attendant and making their yard a parking lot or worship. 2) Likewise, the tolerance and harmonization of the Hindu Islamic community towards the Nyepi holiday worship is also well seen. For example, during the Nyepi celebration, Muslims also participate by limiting all activities including work and going out of the house so that they do not use lights or something shiny like Hindus do during Nyepi. During the food banquet, when Hindus invite, Muslims follow it well. In the analysis of Max Weber's theory of action, the Islamic and Hindu societies do all of this because they have a goal for the future good, which is known as instrumental rational action, and because they follow their parents and ancestors who are known for traditional actions. The next research recommendation is to focus on using quantitative research to determine the influence of worship or religious activities on the tolerance and harmonization of the Tengger ethnic group.

Abstract

This study aims to theoretically examine the implementation of deep learning in elementary schools as a strategy to strengthen the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The method used in this study is library research, analyzing various scientific sources such as books, educational journals, policy articles, and official documents from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Deep learning is understood as an approach that emphasizes in-depth conceptual understanding, critical and reflective thinking skills, and the ability to connect concepts to real-life contexts. The results of the study indicate that the principles of deep learning are highly relevant to the Independent Curriculum approach, particularly in differentiated learning, project-based learning, and formative assessment. This approach not only encourages students to actively construct knowledge but also supports the formation of a Pancasila learner profile. Furthermore, deep learning also has theoretical implications for developing the role of teachers as facilitators, contextualizing learning design, and creating a more meaningful and holistic assessment system. Therefore, it is not surprising that the government will implement deep learning in elementary schools starting in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study recommends conducting further field-based research to directly observe the implementation of deep learning in elementary schools, including the challenges and opportunities in supporting the Independent Curriculum. Therefore, this study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions to the field of elementary education in Indonesia as it prepares for a more adaptive and transformative education in the global era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Gubuk Inspirasi Community in developing the quality of education and skills of youth in Sumberbrantas Village, Batu City. The background of this study stems from the low access to non-formal education and limited opportunities for self-development for youth in rural areas. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Gubuk Inspirasi plays a strategic role in improving literacy, learning motivation, and technical and social skills of youth through programs such as literacy classes, public speaking training, graphic design, and entrepreneurship. The existence of this community creates an alternative learning space that is inclusive, enjoyable, and builds the character of the younger generation. The implications of this study confirm that community-based communities can be significant agents of social change in supporting human resource development at the local level. This study also recommends further quantitative and comparative studies to strengthen the community-based youth empowerment model in other regions.
