Abstract

Abstract People should have good ethics and morals. However, in the modern era, morality towards God and man began to decline. This is evidenced by the many viral news and people's daily lives that have deviated. They feel that they are far away and cannot be changed because it has become who they are. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate how to behave toward God and man without exaggeration so that good is more apparent than bad. The research method used is literature study, with historical-critical-philosophical approach and descriptive-analytical analysis. The results were that 1) Ibn Miskawaih's ethical thinking was built on his view of the human soul. Where man first knows his soul by cleansing from heart disease and excessive love for the world. Heart disease and soul cleansing can be done by always learning a lot to do good, staying away from greedy friends, living in simple circumstances even though it has advantages, preparing to fight lust, learning about religion, and introspection. 2) The importance of the middle position as a guide in the point of goodness according to Ibn Miskawaih is important. Where one must not be extreme deficient or extreme excessive. It must be a middle extreme or middle position which is said to be the true good and must be used as the foundation of the individual. 3) Implementation can be done by cleansing the heart, then getting used to doing good so that later it becomes a habit that leads to divine health. The culmination of Ibn Miskawaih's ethical thought from the above is being able to do good directly without thinking because it has become a habit to do good. Abstract

Pentingnya mengkaji poligami ini adalah karena poligami dapat menyebabkan ketidaksetaraan dan ketidakadilan antara pasangan suami-istri, hal ini tentunya bertentangan dengan prinsip etika, estetika, keadilan dan kemanusiaan yang menjadi dasar aksiologi dan filsafat hukum. Tujuan penulisan terkait poligami ini dari sudut pandang aksiologi berguna untuk mengkaji implikasi etis poligami dan dampaknya terhadap nilai-nilai etika dan estetika dalam masyarakat. Sedangkan, dalam filsafat hukum kajianya akan berkaitan dengan alasan, tujuan, dan juga kepastian hukum. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian analisis deskriptif-kualitatif dan pendekatan filosofis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Aksiologi adalah cabang filsafat yang membahas tentang nilai baik dan buru. Aksiologi terdiri dari dua hal etika dan estetika, dari etika terdapat dua teori di dalamnya yakni teori teleologi dan teori deontologi. Dari estetika terdapat dua aspek yakni ekspresi dan fungsional. Apabila poligami dipandang dari perspektif aksiologi, maka harus ditekankan perlunya niat dan hasil yang baik untuk menjadikan poligami itu dianggap baik. (2) Filsafat hukum membahas tentang asal usul hukum, aspek etika dan moral hukum, dan di dalamnya terdapat aspek penting yakni alasan, tujuan, dan manfaat suatu hukum. Apabila poligami dipandang dari filsafat hukum, maka harus ditekankan aspek etika, moral, keadilan, alasan, tujuan, dan manfaat hukum yang jelas untuk terciptanya sebuah kepastian hukum yang baik.

Abstract

Ridha is the goal of life for muslims. However, several studies have caused ridha to change its meaning to satisfaction, while the meaning of ridha is much more than that. The purpose of this article is to find out the comparison of the concept of ridha in the Qur’an with the concept of psychological well being. The research method used is qualitative with literature study techniques, which is to collecting references and scientific research that is the same as the research purposes. The result of the research obtained are that the concept of ridha in the Qur’an and the concept of psychological well being have similarities when viewed in therms of the aspect they have. With ridha someone will find psychological well being in him too.

Abstract

Hakikat ibadah melibatkan lahiriah dan spiritual. Nilai ibadah melibatkan keyakinan, sikap, dan tindakan yang tercermin dalam pelaksanaan ibadah. Pentingnya mengetahui hikmah ketika beribadah dapat mencegah seseorang dari kebosanan dan kekeringan spiritual dalam menjalankannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai ibadah dalam perspektif filsafat Isyraqi al-Maqtul. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka. Hasil yang di dapatkan 1) Ajaran pokok Suhrawardi yaitu realitas terletak pada esensi yang dilambangkan dengan tingkat gradasi atau hierarki-hierarki cahaya yangmana bergantung pada jarak dengan mahacahaya. Untuk mencapai pengetahuan sebagaimana konsep isyraqi dibutuhkan pembuktian rasio dan pengalaman ruhani. 2) Ibadah mencakup dimensi lahiriah dan batiniah dan akan tercermin dengan nilai ibadah yang didapatkan, bergantung pada niat, keikhlasan, unsur cinta dan kesadaran seorang hamba kepada Tuhan. 3.) Konsep illuminasi Isyraqi memperlihatkan sebagaimana posisi seorang hamba kepada tuhan. Manusia harus sadar akan esensi dirinya yang dianugerahi akal dan hati, rasionalitas dan spiritualitas untuk mencapai kodrat kemanusiaan dan keilahian dalam dirinya.

Abstract

In addition to discrimination, the lack of respect for women's skills and the difficulty of women to get and achieve positions equal to or even higher than men in the world of work make many women tend to stay at home and refuse to enter the labor market. The purpose of this research is that women avoid the glass ceiling from a rational Burhani perspective in the contemporary era and not be studied only by textual studies. The research method used is descriptive analysis with Burhani epistemological syllogism, which is reviewed by literature from books, journals, and literature so that it uses a qualitative approach in the results. The results of the study state that the Glass ceiling phenomenon for women in the world of work is the influence of factors that still uphold patriarchy and only see it from the perspective of the text. In contrast to Burhani who uses reason (ratio). He views that women also have the same rights and share in the work and position of women in the world of work according to their abilities. The implication of this research is leadership, a taboo subject, and even other positive things that are not found in the leadership or performance of men. So that there will be other women who become leaders in the era of modernization in various fields of work. ABSTRAK Selain diskriminasi, kurangnya penghargaan terhadap keterampilan perempuan dan sulitnya perempuan untuk mendapatkan dan mencapai posisi yang sama atau bahkan lebih tinggi dari laki-laki di dunia kerja membuat banyak perempuan cenderung tinggal di rumah dan menolak memasuki pasar kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar perempuan terhindar dari glass ceiling dipahami dari perspektif burhani secara rasional di era kontemporer dan tidak hanya dikaji dengan kajian tekstual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis dengan silogisme epistimologi burhani, yang dikaji secara kepustakaan dari buku, jurnal, dan literatur sehingga menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam hasilnya. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa fenomena Glass ceiling bagi perempuan di dunia kerja merupakan pengaruh dari faktor-faktor yang masih menjunjung tinggi patriarki dan hanya melihatnya dari perspektif teks. Berbeda dengan Burhani yang menggunakan akal (rasio). Ia memandang bahwa perempuan juga memiliki hak dan andil yang sama dalam pekerjaan dan kedudukan perempuan di dunia kerja sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah Kepemimpinan perempuan bukanlah hal yang tabu, bahkan ada hal positif lain yang tidak ditemukan dalam kepemimpinan atau kinerja laki-laki. Sehingga akan ada perempuan-perempuan lain yang menjadi pemimpin di era modernisasi ini dalam berbagai bidang kerja.

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the problems that happens regarding religious moderation is that many people do not claim a particular religion, whether or not religious moderation only applies to individuals or groups who have a religion. The role of Islamic Philosophy seems to be urged to solve the problem. To explore the variety of Islamic philosophical thoughts led this article to discuss the thoughts of Suhrawardi, the founder of Isyraqi philosophy. This article aimed to analyze the concept of Isyraqi philosophy related to the esoteric concept of religious pluralism and its relationship to human tolerance in the discourse of religious moderation. This research applied a literature review, collecting information sourced from books and journal articles, especially about Suhrawardi’s thoughts as the primary source and relevant studies as the secondary source. The results of the research showed that; (1) Allah SWT is the main source for the creation of knowledge, religions and beliefs (2) Isyraqi philosophy acknowledges the esoteric nature of pluralism as the basis of ethical concepts (3) Tolerance is based on the awareness to decline every single fanaticism towards reality. Thus, because of the implications of the philosophical thinking above, religious moderation should cover all levels of society, both the believers and non-believers. ABSTRAK Pada faktanya masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengklaim agama tertentu, disinilah masalah moderasi beragama, apakah moderasi beragama hanya berlaku untuk seseorang atau kalangan yang memiliki agama? Peran Filsafat Islam seakan didesak untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut. Menelusuri ragam pemikiran Filsafat Islam mengantarkan artikel ini untuk mendiskusikan pemikiran Suhrawardi, sosok pencetus Filsafat Isyraqi. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep Filsafat Isyraqi terkait konsep esoteris pluralisme agama dan kaitannya dengan toleransi umat manusia dalam wacana moderasi beragama. Proses penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan pustaka, pengumpulan informasi bersumber dari buku maupun artikel jurnal, terutama tentang pemikiran Suhrawardi sebagai sumber primer dan yang relevan dengan tema-tema terkait sebagai sumber sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa; (1) Allah Swt merupakan sumber utama atas terciptanya ilmu, agama-agama dan keyakinan (2) Filsafat Isyraqi mengakui hakikat esoteris pluralis sebagai dasar konsep etika (3) Toleransi didasari dengan kesadaran menolak fanatisme tunggal terhadap realitas. Dengan demikian sebabagai implikasi pemikiran filsafat di atas maka selayaknya Moderasi Beragama harus mencakup seluruh lapisan masyarakat baik bagi penganut agama maupun tidak (penganut kepercayaan)

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of Irfani epistemology in forming a sakinah mawadah warahmah family. The aim of this research is to find out if the Irfani epistemology is implemented in the family to form a sakinah mawadah warahmah family. This research method is library research with data analysis techniques. This research uses primary data sources and secondary data sources. Research results [1] Irfani's epistemology is a disclosure of knowledge obtained through illuminating the essence of God to His servants (kasyf) [2] The Sakinah Mawadah Warahmah family is a family built on the basis of a valid marriage, which is able to fulfill spiritual and material needs legally worthy and balanced, filled with affection between family members. [3] If the Irfani way of thinking is applied in the family, all problems in the household will be made easier and disappear because all problems no longer use human or worldly glasses but use higher glasses, namely divine glasses. So this creates a sakinah mawadah warrahmah family.

Abstract

Abstrak : Kemunculan aliran rasionalis Islam yang memisahkan diri dari aliran Ahl al-Hadits dengan Hasan al-Basri sebagai tokoh utama, sehingga terkenal dengan sebutan Mu’tazilah. Dalam perkembangannya, Mu’tazilah tidak terlepas dari seorang tokoh mu’tazili ternama Abd al-Jabbar. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mengkaji konsep teologi al-Qadi Abd al-Jabbar dalam perspektif epistemologi bayani. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research), dengan pendekatan metode analisis komprehensif. Penelitian ini menggunakan kitab yang berhubungan dengan pembahasan, buku serta artikel jurnal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1.) proses pemikiran Abd al-Jabbar menggunakan dalil rasio mengakibatkan kepada pengetahuan tentang adanya Tuhan berlandaskan argumentasi yang spekulatif, 2.) epistemologi bayani adalah sebuah cara pemikiran khas arab yang ditekankan pada keotoritasan nash (teks), langsung atau tidak langsung, didukung pada penalaran linguistik berbasis inferensi. 3.) Epistemologi ini berpengaruh dalam melahirkan disiplin ilmu kalam khususnya dalam pandangan al-Qadi Abd al-Jabbar (seorang tokoh teologi muktazilah) mengungkapkan persoalan-persoalan non fisik (ghaib) dengan cara analogi sebagai menghubungkan pengetahuan khusus/cabang (far’) dengan pengetahuan pokok/umum (ashl). Abstract

In Islamic law, knowing one's lineage and preserving it plays a crucial role, as lineage occupies the fourth position among the five necessities (al-ḍaruriyyat al-khamsa). Without knowing the lineage relationship, it would be difficult for us to identify an individual and prevent someone from falsely claiming a lineage. This research aims to explore the virtuous values inherent in Islamic law concerning kinship relations. Furthermore, what is its relevance to axiology within the realm of philosophical inquiry? These questions are intriguing for investigation. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopts a qualitative descriptive methodology, where the data collection involves a literature review method focusing on relevant sources related to the problem being discussed. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) Lineage refers to kinship relationships, which come in various forms. (2) Axiology in philosophy studies value-related matters, encompassing ethics, aesthetics, and religion. (3) Similar to axiology, lineage holds both positive and negative values. Positive values of lineage include personal identity, honor, motivation, and exemplary behavior. On the other hand, negative values of lineage encompass sectarianism/ethnic fanaticism, arrogance, belittling other lineages, refusing to recognize other lineages, and lack of pride in one's lineage.

Abstract

Long before Greek philosophy influenced Islamic thought, Islam already had a tradition of rational thinking. This study traces the role of language in the development of Islamic rationalism and addresses 19th-century Orientalists' claims that Islamic philosophy is merely an imitation of Greek philosophy. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study finds:(1) The rationalism in Islam is a genuine product of Islamic intellectual effort, rooted in the Qur'an and Hadith. The interpretation of these sources gave rise to the Islamic rational system, particularly through the study of language (nahw-sarf), proving that Islamic rationalism is an intrinsic part of its tradition.(2) The claim that Islamic rationalism is adopted from Greek thought is countered by evidence that rational thinking was practiced in Islam long before Greek philosophy's influence. Muslim philosophers further developed Greek ideas, creating a unique form of rationality known as hikmah, demonstrating that Islamic philosophy is an original intellectual tradition.
