Abstract

[Title: Implementation of Professional Ethics and HSE in Jatibarang Dam Operation and Maintenance Activities] Implementation of Dam Operation and Maintenance (OP) is very important to maintain dam safety and the sustainability of dam function. Operation and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with established procedures and a well-structured OP implementation program according to conditions of dam  and climate change. Dam Operation and Maintenance activities involve a lot of Engineering practice and need to pay attention to Health, and Environment (HSE). This study aims to determine the implementation of Professional Ethics and HSE in the operation and maintenance of the Jatibarang Dam. This research begins with conducting literature review and collecting secondary data. The collected data is then processed and the results are discussed and concluded. The operation and maintenance of the Jatibarang Dam includes operations, maintenance and monitoring activities, which must be planned and then held and reports its implementation. Dam operation is carried out by adjusting the water output of the reservoir. Dam maintenance is done to prevent damage or repair damage. While dam monitoring is carried out to find out symptoms of problems with the dam at an early stage. The implementation of professional ethics is manifested by managers in the form of responsibility, honesty, obedience, competence, teamwork and sustainable utilization. HSE has been implemented but managers have not fully implemented HSE Management System. HSE risk management which includes hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control has just been implemented for the dam safety. For The supporting work activities have not been carried out.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of demographic factors—specifically gender and age - on perceptions of technology in the investment process. Using ANOVA analysis, significant differences were identified in how various demographic groups engage with investment technology, with younger respondents displaying higher familiarity and usage rates. Gender differences also revealed varying attitudes toward technology’s impact on investment decisions. The findings underscore the necessity for tailored financial products and educational resources that cater to diverse investor profiles. This study provides a foundation for future research exploring additional demographic variables, the effects of global events on investment behaviors, and the intersection of technology with socially responsible investing. Ultimately, the insights gained aim to promote inclusivity and enhance financial literacy among diverse investor populations.

Abstract

This study examines the demographic characteristics of respondents - age, gender, and education—and their influence on investment behaviors. The sample is predominantly young, with 68.3% aged 18-25, and shows a male skew (56.7%). Most participants hold undergraduate degrees (53.8%), indicating a highly educated demographic. The analysis reveals significant differences in investment experience, risk tolerance, and financial planning priorities based on these factors. Younger respondents demonstrate higher risk tolerance, while gender differences highlight varying approaches to financial planning. The study’s findings contribute to understanding how demographic factors shape investment strategies, with global implications for financial markets. Future research should include more diverse age groups, gender balance, and cross-cultural comparisons to enhance the global understanding of investment behaviors.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of digital payment systems on consumer behaviours and merchant operations in Ahmedabad. The research is guided by two objectives: analysing the impact of consumer trust on the adoption of digital payment systems, and evaluating the role of these systems in enhancing merchant efficiency and financial performance. Data was collected from 110 respondents using a structured questionnaire, with statistical analysis conducted using SPSS. The results highlight a significant positive relationship between consumer trust and digital payment adoption. Additionally, the implementation of digital payment systems improves operational efficiency for merchants. The study underscores the importance of trust, reliability, and security in fostering adoption and the growing role of digital payment technologies in transforming business operations. Future research should explore long-term impacts and the role of emerging technologies in digital payments.

By analyzing responses from 104 participants across different demographic groups, the research examines how factors such as age, gender, education, and occupation influence the adoption of strategies like AI-driven decision-making, ESG considerations, and corporate governance. The findings reveal that while traditional optimization techniques remain essential, there is growing acceptance of advanced tools and sustainable practices. The study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to portfolio management, combining financial performance with ethical and environmental considerations. Future research can further investigate emerging technologies and global regulatory impacts on real estate investments.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between demographic factors—age and gender - and music preferences among a sample of 167 individuals. The analysis reveals a predominantly young population, primarily students, indicating significant implications for understanding music's role in mental health and therapeutic applications. ANOVA results show that Relax Music and Sad Motion exhibit significant differences across age groups, while the Sad Genre and Lyrics Effect reveal significant variations by gender. These findings highlight the importance of tailoring music interventions to specific demographic characteristics. Future research should investigate additional demographic factors and employ longitudinal approaches to deepen insights. This study contributes to the global discourse on music therapy, emphasizing music's potential as a transformative tool for emotional well-being.

Abstract

This study investigates user satisfaction among Uber users in Ahmedabad, India, focusing on key factors such as digital media consumption, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on household income, spending priorities, binge-watching habits, and perceptions of work-life balance. Using ANOVA analysis, significant differences were found in users' feelings of being overwhelmed by work and personal responsibilities, while other factors showed uniformity across demographic groups. These findings highlight the influence of socioeconomic factors on digital life balance, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies to enhance user satisfaction. By contributing to the understanding of the sharing economy's impact on urban mobility, this research provides valuable insights for improving user experiences in similar contexts. Future studies should consider longitudinal trends and cross-cultural comparisons to further enrich this evolving field.
