Abstract

This study aims to explore the meaning of one of the fairy tales originating from the Manggarai area, entitled Raja Nggopet ke Congkar. The research method used is critical discourse based on Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutical concept. This study found that this fairy tale basically explores the urgency of a critical attitude in addressing the realities of everyday life. This attitude is very important for Manggarai people in receiving and welcoming guests who come to the village. Meanwhile, for the Indonesian people in general, it is absolutely necessary to have a critical attitude in order to be able to respond wisely to the phenomena that occur in everyday life, namely: first, the phenomenon of product promotion and various other things that circulate widely on social media and in society; secondly, the phenomenon of imagery and utopian promises from legislative or executive candidates who will compete in elections.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini ialah menemukan makna hidup para perawat ODGJ di panti Renceng Mose dalam terang konsep cinta relasional Aku dan Liyan Armada Riyanto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pendekatan ini berusaha mengungkap, mempelajari serta memahami fenomena dan konteksnya yang khas dan unik yang dialami individu hingga tataran keyakinan individu yang bersangkutan. Data dari subjek penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan metode wawancara Via WA (telephone) dengan para perawat di Panti Renceng Mose, Manggarai, Flores, NTT. Penelitian menemukan bahwa bagi para perawat ODGJ hidup adalah untuk mencintai. Mencintai bukan perkara konsep, definisi dan abstraksi, melainkan tindakan yang nyata dalam narasi hidup sehari-hari bersama pasien ODGJ. Mencintai adalah tindakan memberi diri dan berani menyeberang atas dasar cinta Allah dan dalam prinsip keselarasan. Cinta akan pasien ODGJ harus sampai pada pemulihan martabat mereka sebagai seorang pribadi. Hal Ini mengandaikan semua pihak bergerak bersama mulai dari pemerintah, masyarakat dan Gereja.

Abstract

A number of Catholic students from other cities in Malang are the members of the Legion of Mary. This phenomenon is relevant to be studied because the presence of the Legion of Mary in the Catholic Church and the involvement of young people in it is very important. The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic group. The presence of lay apostles is very important. However, the composition of the Legion of Mary members is dominated by older people. Not many young people become legionaries. There is an impression that the Legion of Mary is not suitable for them. In order to eliminate this impression and in order to formulate the right way to promote the Legion of Mary among the young people, it is necessary to examine their motives to become legionaries. For this purpose, we examine the motives of involvement of a number of Catholic students in Presidium Maria Bunda Perjalanan. The status quaestionis of this study is: what are the motives of the involvement of Catholic students in the Legion of Mary? The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data from research subjects were collected using observation techniques and direct interviews. We found that the involvement of the subjects in the Legion of Mary was motivated by three main motives, namely spiritual, social, and self-development motives. Therefore, in order to promote the Legion of Mary among the students, these three motives need to be presented.

Abstract

The main focus of this article is to explore the wealth of intersubjective values contained in activities réis, ruis, raés, raos Manggarai people. The goal to be achieved is to make local wisdom réis, ruis, raés, raos as a presentation of philosophical thought that contributes to the civilization of rationality of the Indonesian nation. The concept of intersubjectivity in activities réis, ruis, raés, raos occurs because the relationship that is built based on these four activities will become a relationship that is intimate, harmonious, constructive, equal, parallel, and humane-human. To understand and study culture réis, ruis, raés, raos, this article uses Gabriel Marcel's concept of intersubjectivity. The research methodology used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. This study found that réis, ruis, raés, raos are frames of Intersubjective relations of the Manggaraian people. This research contributes to how to overcome the phenomenon of individualism that is rife in the lives of the Manggarai people today due to the lack of exploration and deep meaning of the intersubjective values contained in the activities of réis, ruis, raés, and raos.

Abstract

Era digital telah membentuk ruang eksistensial baru bagi kaum muda Indonesia, di mana media sosial menjadi medan utama pembentukan identitas dan relasi sosial. Studi ini menganalisis fenomena tersebut melalui lensa filsafat Martin Heidegger, khususnya konsep Dasein dan das Man. Heidegger memandang manusia sebagai Dasein—makhluk yang sadar akan keberadaannya, namun rentan kehilangan keotentikan ketika hidupnya dikendalikan oleh opini publik dan norma sosial (das Man). Media sosial memperkuat mode eksistensi tidak otentik ini melalui algoritma, budaya performatif, dan tekanan validasi eksternal. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman kecemasan eksistensial (Angst) dapat menjadi pintu menuju keotentikan. Kaum muda perlu membangun sikap reflektif dan kritis dalam menggunakan media sosial, dengan mengembangkan keberanian eksistensial (Entschlossenheit) dan sikap Gelassenheit—yakni penggunaan teknologi secara sadar dan merdeka. Studi ini juga menegaskan pentingnya peran pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan keluarga dalam mendampingi kaum muda agar mampu hidup sebagai pribadi otentik di tengah dunia digital.
