Abstract

Character education is an important value for education in elementary age children. Typically, the principles of character are taught in classrooms by teachers to students, which is different from the Covid-19 period. This paper analyzes the local wisdom of the Singkil migrant community in Southeast Aceh who provide education to children to love their homeland. This was done as an effort to avoid lost generation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected using in-depth interviews and participant observation, plus documentation review. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through reduction, display and conclusion techniques. Then, its validity was tested through triangulation techniques and member checks. The results of this study indicate that (1) local wisdom of the Singkil community includes dampeng dance, handkerchief dance, tawakh flour and wooden canang games; (2) through local wisdom, it can foster a love of the motherland character in children, marked by habituation and habituation for children; and (3) through local wisdom, it can avoid lost generation in the Covid-19 era, marked by cognition education and inculcation of values given to children even though studying in the outdoors.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk mengedukasi dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat yang tinggal di daerah pesisir di Desa Labengki, Kecamatan Lasolo Kepulauan, Kabupaten Konawe Utara Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara tentang gambaran umum dan pencegahan dini terhadap bahaya stunting. Fokus pengabdian adalah pertama, untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat pesisir tentang pentingnya pemenuhan gizi seimbang bagi ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, dan anak-anak untuk mencegah stunting; kedua, untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang bahaya stunting terhadap perkembangan fisik dan kognitif anak; ketiga, untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat umum dalam pengasuhan; dan keempat, untuk mendorong partisipasi pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat umum. Dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, digunakan metode community development, yaitu pendekatan yang melibatkan masyarakat secara langsung sebagai subjek dan objek kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan sebagai penerima manfaat langsung dari kegiatan tersebut. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Labengki memperoleh edukasi tentang gambaran umum stunting, yang membuat mereka lebih waspada terhadap ancaman stunting. Ini didasarkan pada apa yang kita ketahui tentang penyebab stunting, cara untuk mencegahnya, peran gizi seimbang dalam pencegahan stunting, dan pentingnya 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Pengabdian ini sangat penting dan membantu orang-orang menjalani pola hidup sehat dan mendapatkan gizi yang seimbang.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar sangatlah membutuhkan suatu inovasi yang baru untuk bisa mengaktifkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, dan untuk memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah strategi pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Dalam strategi pembelajaran ini para siswa nantinya akan dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok, kemudian nantinya mereka akan bekerjasama dengan teman sekelompoknya. Sehingga siswa akan lebih mudah memahami materi dan mengemukakan ide atau pendapat mereka, yang nantinya dapat memaksimalkan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualittatif. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia jenjang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas III SD Subsidi Swakarya Desa Laut Dendang. Dan adapun hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada siswa kelas III di SD Subsidi Swakarya Desa Laut Dendang yaitu, dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Snowball Throwing ini ternyata pembelajaran lebih efektif, karena selain membuat anak-anak gembira, menyenangkan, dan bersemangat dalam belajar serta lebih mudah dalam memahami materi.

Abstract

Gender education is an effort to instill a sense of tolerance and tolerance in children from the start. This study attempts to analyze the concept of gender education for elementary age children. The formulation of the discussion of this research includes how to internalize the values of gender in children from a very early age, educate children about the urgency of gender and events about influencing factors. This study uses an approach to the literature study method. The data source and analysis of this research study used research material data obtained from SINTA or Google Scholar. The results of this study found that (1) efforts to internalize the value of gender behavior in children can be done through a sense of equality (without anything special or not special), giving children freedom (democracy), exemplifying tolerance and equality in children (exemplary), and respecting children. other people's feelings; (2) educating children through parenting regardless of gender, fostering children's self-confidence, appreciating children's positive traits, and facilitating children's development and skills; and (3) factors that influence gender development, namely biological, social and cognitive aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the concept and application of Islamic education and Islamic business management in Southeast Asia, the research area is Islamic education and Islamic business management in Indonesia and Thailand. This study uses an academic approach with a historical perspective. Using this process and conceptualizing and implementing Islamic education and Islamic business management in Southeast Asia (in Indonesia and Thailand), much of the existing and developed theory has to be clarified. The results of the study show that there are similarities in the concept and implementation of Islamic education and Islamic business management in Indonesia and Thailand which are geographically close to each other so that they can experience the same historical moment that encompasses them to the stage of civilization. World time Another thing that is similar is that the two countries are in the ongoing development of the Islamic economy, even today the development of the Islamic economy in Thailand is very rapid, especially at Kindegarden Phatnawitya School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes which have increased by using the SFE (Student Facilitator Explaining) model for MI/SD students. One of the recommended learning models for learning activities is the cooperative learning learning model. The cooperative learning model is a teaching and learning activity carried out in small groups, students learn and work together to arrive at optimal experiences both individual and group experiences. The method of writing scientific articles is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The results of this study regarding the application of the use of the student facilitator and explaining model in elementary schools can improve student learning outcomes by making students as facilities in learning and making students more active.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual terhadap anak merupakan isu krusial yang mengancam keselamatan dan martabat peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dalam membangun budaya anti-kekerasan seksual terhadap anak melalui pendekatan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus di tiga sekolah yang memiliki program pendidikan karakter dan kebijakan perlindungan anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila, terutama kemanusiaan, keadilan sosial, dan persatuan, memiliki potensi transformatif dalam membentuk kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya perlindungan terhadap anak dan pencegahan kekerasan seksual. Namun, pembelajaran PPKn di sekolah masih bersifat normatif dan belum mengintegrasikan isu kekerasan seksual secara eksplisit dalam kurikulum maupun praktik pembelajaran. Faktor budaya sekolah dan kapasitas guru menjadi penentu utama dalam efektivitas internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penyusunan modul ajar tematik, pelatihan guru yang berperspektif perlindungan anak, serta penguatan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila yang responsif terhadap isu sosial. Temuan ini memperkaya wacana Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kritis berbasis lokal sebagai strategi preventif dalam mewujudkan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, adil, dan manusiawi.
