Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how teachers communicate with students at SMA Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan during Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This kind of research combines a literature study methodology with a qualitative approach. Quotations for data sources are taken from reliable websites like SINTA and Google Scholar. Data triangulation was then used to examine and validate the data. The study's findings indicate that, first, there needs to be communication between PAI teachers and deputy principals in the field of curriculum development, particularly when it comes to carrying out lesson plans, syllabi, and follow-up student assessments. Secondly, when PAI teachers communicate about PAI material, they truly take into account the students' backgrounds, abilities, and the fundamental skills that all teachers should possess, such as the ability to explain complex material in a way that students can easily understand and accept.

This research aims to describe the management of authentic learning strategies to improve children's thinking abilities. The type of research used is a qualitative approach with descriptive study methods. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis uses reduction, display and conclusion techniques. The results of this research conclude that authentic learning strategies can help improve children's thinking abilities, namely in the form of student coaching that is directly put into practice by teachers, student-centered and problem-solving oriented learning, contextual project-based learning, and extra involvement for students to gain impressive learning experiences. Likewise, in practice authentic learning strategies also experience problems with textual learning content, and require complete learning facilities. Through this research, it is hoped that teachers can measure economic needs, strategic teaching, and interesting content that can be practiced during authentic learning strategies.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of digital learning on student motivation and engagement in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, particularly in grades 4-6. Despite the development of digital technology, the implementation of digital learning in madrasah is still limited and not optimal in influencing the learning process. The main issue raised is the extent to which digital technology can increase students' learning motivation and engagement in the madrasah environment. The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of digital learning on student motivation and engagement, as well as to identify factors that support or hinder its implementation. This research used a qualitative approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews and observation. Data was analyzed using N-Vivo assistance. The results show that digital learning significantly increases student motivation and engagement, with factors such as interactivity of digital media, use of relevant content, and teacher support playing an important role in the achievement. The main impact of this study is to provide insights for curriculum development and teacher training to improve the effectiveness of technology-based learning in madrasah.
