Abstract

This article aims to examine the interpersonal and metapersonal self-regulation of students memorizing the Qur'an at the elementary school level. This research adopted a phenomenological case study research design. Six students, five parents of students, and one teacher were recruited for data collection. Interviews, observation and documentation were conducted to obtain data. The results report that students' interpersonal self-regulation was carried out by preaching to their peers by reprimanding their friends or siblings. They try to regulate themselves to be able to harmonize their thoughts, words, and actions in the form of a polite attitude. They also strive to manage the existing environment in order to support the achievement of the goals that have been set. Environmental management is an effort to invite other friends to use their free time to use memorization. The metapersonal self-regulation is conducted by seeking the pleasure of Allah. However, the students who memorize the Qur'an at the elementary school level at the Tadabbur Al-Qur'an House have not been able to feel certain mental activities that can facilitate the process of memorizing the Qur'an. Among the inner activities that are carried out are certain prayers, especially to get help in the hereafter.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Silent Demonstration for MI/SD students and how this activity can integrate students to think critically, creatively, communicatively, and collaboratively. This research uses a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. Descriptive research, that is, research conducted to determine the value of the independent variable, either one variable or more (independent) without making comparisons or connecting with other variables. Qualitative collection techniques usually use observation, interviews, and documentation. The demonstration strategy carried out in the learning process is a presentation of lessons by demonstrating and demonstrating to students about a certain process, situation, or object, either real or just an imitation. While mute can be interpreted as silent or unable to speak / just remain silent. Researchers are interested in the behavior of students during silent demonstrations where students play a unified role in making sweet tea, especially when carrying out the steps for making sweet tea, meaning that these activities can attract students' attention and follow learning in a fun way.

Abstract

Pancasila character education in Indonesian elementary schools faces significant challenges due to learning approaches that do not accommodate the diversity of multiple intelligences of students, thus potentially ignoring the unique potential of each child in internalizing Pancasila values. This study aims to develop a multiple intelligence-based civic education learning strategy to improve Pancasila character in elementary school students, with an emphasis on optimizing all dimensions of intelligence possessed by students. A systematic literature review method was used by analyzing articles indexed by Google Scholar, Science and Technology Index (SINTA), and SCOPUS on the themes of Pancasila, civic education, character education, and multiple intelligences. The results of the study indicate that the integration of multiple intelligence theory in Pancasila character learning can optimally improve the quality of internalization of national values, by adjusting pedagogical strategies to the diversity of student intelligence types such as linguistic, logical-mathematical, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, visual-spatial, and naturalist. The practical implications of this research provide guidance for educators to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment, so that each student can develop a humanist attitude and Pancasilaist character according to their respective intelligence potential, without anyone being left behind in the process of forming national character.
