Abstract

PT. Bintang Toedjoe as a company engaged in the manufacturing industry in carrying out its business activities has implemented a production quality control system. The company has even won the ISO 9001 certificate as an acknowledgement that the company has implemented good quality management and in accordance with the applicable quality standard guidelines. Various quality control programs are carried out by the company so that it can produce good products and in accordance with the quality standards set. However, in fact the quality is determined based on the production results theoretically has not reached the specified requirements. As it is known that one of the products of PT. Bintang Todjoe is a traditional medicine, namely Bintang Toedjoe cataches a cold, where this product is a new product released by PT. Bintang Toedjoe. Therefore, a quality control system must be established to ensure that each product produced meets the spesifications set by following standard procedures. One of the quality control programs using statistical quality control, among others, to conduct process capability analysis, namely by testing the normality of the quality parameters of the resulting product and studying the production process capabilities of PT. Bintang Todjoe.

Abstract

The development of the retail business in Indonesia has encouraged the rise of modern grocery stores. Competition in this business is intensifying, which prompts every retailer to further improve the systems and technologies used in running their business to improve the value chain. One of them is by applying a clear business process model as a reference in conducting daily business activities. Various business process modeling techniques have been applied in several businesses. One of the modeling techniques that can be used for retail business is the IDEF0 method. The method is capable of identifying the flow and sequence of processes in a retail business. After getting a clear business model, then make the development (become a model) of the existing business model (as is model) to be able to further improve business performance. In this study, the supermarket business process model that has been implemented has been identified, the business model has been developed into a new model for analysis then the comparison between the as is model and the to be model. The goal is to measure the improvement in the performance (value chain) of the development carried out. Research shows the performance of stock on hand (SOH) is increasing and the level of depletion of stock (OOS) is decreasing in supermarkets.

Abstract

Rantai pasok adalah kunci dari sebuah kegiatan bisnis pada masa sekarang.Karena pada masa sekarang persaingan bisnis bukan pada kompetitor akan tetapi telah terjadi pada sistem rantai pasok. Sehingga siapa yang bisa menguasai rantai pasok maka dia akan menjadi pemenang. Hubungan antara pelanggan dan pemasok adalah sesuatu hal yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan sebuah bisnis. Karena banyak perusahaan yang telah menerapkan adanya suatu hubungan yang terintegrasi antara pelanggan dan pemasok maka akan terjadi suatu proses yang baik dalam sebuah kegiatan rantai pasok dan proses bisnis tersebut. Metode analisa akar penyebab masalah (Root Cause Analys) agar dapat mengidentifikasi masalah-masalah yang terjadi di Toko Trisno sebagai pelanggan dan juga kepada pemasoknya.Sehingga diperlukan kerjasama yang ekstra dan pendekatan yang lebih baik sehingga masalah-masalah yang ada dapat diselesaikan, baik itu masalah internal maupun pada pemasok.

Abstract

Background: Teaching factory (TeFa) di SMK MedikaCom Bandung telah berhasil mengembangkan berbagai produk unggulan, namun menghadapi kendala serius dalam aspek pemasaran dan standardisasi produk yang menghambat potensi komersialisasi. Keterbatasan ini meliputi belum adanya Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) produksi, lemahnya identitas merek, dan minimnya pemanfaatan pemasaran digital. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapabilitas siswa melalui serangkaian pelatihan yang komprehensif guna menginisiasi pembentukan inkubator bisnis. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan partisipatif melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan intensif yang mencakup empat pilar utama: (1) penyusunan SOP dan alur proses produksi; (2) desain kemasan dan branding menggunakan Canva; (3) pembuatan konten promosi; serta (4) pengelolaan platform penjualan di marketplace. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan ini berhasil menghasilkan purwarupa desain produk, draf SOP, serta akun penjualan yang siap diaktifkan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini secara keseluruhan, 80% peserta sangat setuju dan 33,33% setuju, bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat besar bagi mereka dalam pengembangan kegiatan TeFa selanjutnya. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini berhasil menjawab persoalan prioritas yang dihadapi sekolah. Sebagai tindak lanjut, terbentuk inisiasi unit inkubator bisnis yang dikelola siswa untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program secara mandiri.

Abstract

Demand forecasting plays a crucial role in production planning and inventory control, particularly in the food industry, which is characterized by fluctuating demand and limited product shelf life. This study aims to analyze and apply demand forecasting methods for MX food products in order to improve the accuracy of production planning and inventory control at PT XYZ. Historical sales data are utilized to generate demand forecasts by comparing several quantitative methods, including moving average, exponential smoothing, and linear regression. The accuracy of each forecasting method is evaluated using forecasting error measurements such as Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicate that the method with the lowest forecasting error provides more accurate demand estimates, enabling the company to reduce excess inventory and stock shortages. Improved forecasting accuracy contributes to more efficient production planning, lower inventory costs, and better managerial decision-making at PT XYZ.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze occupational safety risks during the cleaning process of large-capacity coffee roasting machines at manufacturing industry. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with a risk assessment approach, using the SNI ISO 31000:2018 standard. Data were collected through interviews, direct observation, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the main risks include slipping, falling from a height, contact with sharp or hot objects, physical fatigue, and the risk of electrical contact. The risks with the highest severity are falling from a height and electrical contact, which are exacerbated by the lack of occupational safety facilities such as signs and personal protective equipment (PPE). Through a risk matrix and fishbone analysis, a mitigation strategy was designed in the form of installing safety facilities, implementing standard operational procedures, occupational health and safety (OHS) training, and routine inspections. The implementation of these steps is expected to create a safer work environment, increase efficiency, and support operational sustainability at manufacturing industry.
