Abstract

Rumah sakit sebagai salah satu fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan memiliki risiko tingkat penyebaran infeksi yang tinggi karena tingginya populasi bakteri dan virus penyebab penyakit. Kejadian infeksi di rumah sakit ini dapat menyebabkan komplikasi infeksi yang menambah berat penyakit pasien. Perilaku pasien dan keluarga pasien dalam menjaga kebersihan dapat mempengaruhi penyebaran infeksi di rumah sakit. Edukasi bagi pasien dan keluarga pasien tentang pencegahan infeksi sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjamin efektivitas kegiatan sosialisasi mencuci tangan di rumah sakit. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka solusi yang kami tawarkan adalah melalui program edukasi kepada pasien dan keluarga pasien RSSM Cikarang tentang pentingnya upaya pencegahan infeksi di rumah sakit, melalui kegiatan penyuluhan daring dengan video presentasi tentang pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi di rumah sakit. Berdasarkan hasil skor pre-test dan post-test, serta partisipasi peserta, maka kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dinilai cukup berhasil dalam menyampaikan informasi yang perlu diketahui pasien dan keluarga pasien tentang penyebaran infeksi di rumah sakit

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelayanan laboratorium di klinik memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung akurasi diagnosis dan efektivitas terapi pasien. Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, kurangnya penerapan standar operasional prosedur (SOP), dan minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi masih menjadi kendala utama. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan laboratorium di Klinik Pratama Sukaraya melalui workshop berbasis partisipatif. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan tenaga laboratorium dalam manajemen mutu, penerapan SOP, serta pemanfaatan teknologi laboratorium. Metode yang digunakan adalah workshop interaktif dengan desain pre-test dan post-test terhadap 17 peserta dari laboran dan tenaga medis. Kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, serta simulasi penerapan SOP berbasis standar mutu. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan instrumen penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor pengetahuan peserta, dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 62,35 meningkat menjadi 85,29 pada post-test (p<0,05). Selain itu, observasi keterampilan praktik menunjukkan peningkatan kepatuhan peserta terhadap SOP dari 58,8% menjadi 88,2%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa workshop efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga laboratorium, khususnya pada aspek manajemen mutu dan penerapan teknologi digital. Kesimpulannya, program PKM ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga laboratorium dalam memberikan pelayanan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan sesuai standar. Peningkatan ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada mutu layanan kesehatan secara keseluruhan serta menjadi model intervensi berkelanjutan bagi klinik sejenis. Kata Kunci: Laboratorium Klinik, Manajemen Mutu, Workshop, Pre-Test Post-Test, Pelayanan Kesehatan.  ABSTRACT Clinical laboratory services play a crucial role in supporting diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic effectiveness. However, limitations in human resources, lack of standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and suboptimal use of technology remain major challenges. This Community Service Program (PKM) was implemented to improve the quality of laboratory services at Sukaraya Primary Clinic through a participatory workshop. The objective was to enhance the knowledge and skills of laboratory staff in quality management, SOP implementation, and the utilization of laboratory technologies. The method used was an interactive workshop with a pre-test and post-test design for 17 participants from laboratory and medical personnel. Activities included lectures, group discussions, case studies, and simulations of SOP implementation based on quality standards. Evaluation was conducted using structured instruments to measure participants’ knowledge and skills before and after the training. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge scores, with the average pre-test score of 62.35 increasing to 85.29 in the post-test (p<0.05). In addition, practical skill observation showed an increase in SOP compliance from 58.8% to 88.2%. These findings suggest that the workshop effectively enhanced the competence of laboratory staff, particularly in quality management and digital technology application. In conclusion, this PKM program successfully improved laboratory staff capacity to deliver faster, more accurate, and standardized services. Such improvements are expected to contribute to overall healthcare quality and provide a sustainable intervention model for similar clinics. Keywords: Clinical Laboratory, Quality Management, Workshop, Pre-Test Post-Test, Healthcare Services.

Abstract

Implementing patient safety at Community Health Center is one of the main priorities in providing high quality health services to patients. As a part from carrying out its function as a public health service, a Community Health Center must also pay attention to continuously improving patient safety, in achieving universal and sustainable health coverage. The aim of this research is to gain an understanding of the influence of patient safety culture on staff perceptions of patient safety level in Cikarang Community Center. This design of this research is a quantitative analysis design with a cross sectional study approach, using observational research method. The subjects of this research are staff (including medical health workers and non-medical health workers) at the Cikarang Community Health Center, which consists of 57 personels, and the technique used is total sampling method. The majority of the staff in Cikarang Community Health Center perceive the patient safety level to be excellent (68,4%). The factors that have significant relationship with the patient safety perception are teamwork (p-value = 0,023), management support (p-value = 0,042), overall perception of patient safety (p-value = 0,029), feedback and communication about errors (p-value = 0,034), and incident reporting frequency (p-value = 0,012). The factors that influence staff perception on patient safety level are incident reporting frequency (OR = 7,738), teamwork (OR = 2,554), supervisor support (OR = 1,287) and management support (OR = 2,102), while the factor that are less likely to influence staff perception on patient safety level are organizational learning (OR = 0,681), feedback and communication about errors (OR = 0147), and communicative openness (OR = 0,550). The improvement of patient safety culture in Cikarang Community Health Center can be done by increasing in im plementation of incident reporting frequency, teamwork, supervisor support and management support.
