Abstract

Community empowerment assistance is an important strategy in developing a sustainable and inclusive village economy, where village communities can obtain greater economic benefits and improve their quality of life. This assistance aims to help rural communities develop their area's economic potential to increase the community's income and welfare. The method used in this community service is Community Based Research (CBR) using the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) approach in training and mentoring. The result of this service is that community empowerment assistance can be an effective strategy for improving the village economy. Assistance can be obtained by applying various relevant theories, such as community empowerment, local economic development, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. In practice, community empowerment assistance must be carried out in a participatory manner by involving village communities in planning and developing businesses that benefit them.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the habit-forming method can improve student learning discipline in thematic learning. In obtaining a research result, researchers use a mixed method that combines qualitative and quantitative methods, which are combined in a study. In this study, the qualitative method is more dominant, and the complementary method is the quantitative method. With the habit-forming method, it can influence students' learning discipline. Entering on time, doing assignments on time, and learning are stimulated to instill habituation in reciting rote memorization that has been memorized so that it is always remembered, so it is very effectively applied to students when at home during learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain how the teacher's capacity to control the class affects the efficiency of student education. The research employs a quantitative approach employing descriptive techniques. It employs probability sampling, with a research sample of 70 students. The primary data collection technique employed is a survey, which is dispersed among students. To support the findings of the questionnaire data, interview methods and document studies were conducted. This research employs descriptive analysis and the classical assumption test as data analysis techniques. The findings of the study reveal that the teacher's ability to manage the class has a notable impact on the effectiveness of student learning. This is evident from the processing of data computed by SPSS via t-test statistical testing. The t-count value is greater than t-table, with a significance of 0.000. According to the test criteria t-count > t-table and if the significance is < α (0.05), H0 is rejected. The calculation of the coefficient of determination reveals that the teacher's capacity to manage the class has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of student learning.
