Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki siswa MA Azzuhriyah dalam menulis cerita pendek budaya dalam bentuk pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh tim PkM Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Universitas Hamzanwadi tahun 2023. Kegiatan ini sendiri menjadi bagian penting dalam tridarma perguruan tinggi yang digaungkan dan ditradisikan oleh prodi PBSI, Universitas Hamzanwadi. Peserta dalam pendampingan ini berjumlah 18 orang yang masuk dalam kelas penulisan cerita pendek. Kegiatan ini sendiri dilakukan selama 8 pertemuan aktif dalam kelas. Adapun luaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah antologi cerita pendek “Cerita Gubuk Kami”. Kata Kunci: Pendampingan, Penulisan Fiksi, Cerita Pendek, Budaya Sasak.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the internal conflict and external conflict of the main character named Alit in the short stories Tuhan, Pawang Hujan, dan Petarung yang Remis by A.S Laksana. Alit works as a magician and rain charmer. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique in this research uses library techniques. Based on the data collection technique used, the data is analyzed using descriptive analysis. The steps in analyzing the data are as follows: Grouping the data based on data type, Reducing data from the data corpus according to the problem being studied, Describing the data to make it clearer. easy to understand, Analyzing data based on predetermined formulas and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis of the short stories Tuhan, Pawang Hujan, dan Petarung yang Remis by A.S Laksana. There are internal conflicts and external conflicts. Internal conflict is a problem or event that occurs to Alit because of an inner struggle with himself caused by the emergence of desires or feelings that arise from within the character. External conflict in the short stories Tuhan, Pawang Hujan, dan Petarung yang Remis by A.S Laksana, is an event that arises due to the involvement of other people or influences from outside the characters which give rise to feelings of happiness, sadness, disappointment, anger and revenge. This is a description of events that often occur in real life when living in the real world.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of personification in Sabian poetry by Oka Rusmini. Language is a means of communication, expressing oneself, ideas and thoughts by its speakers. Language is also a medium in the creation of works, one of which is literary works in the form of poetry. In addition to having intrinsic and extrinsic elements, poetry also uses figurative language in its creation. This study uses a qualitative description method. Data analysis techniques by examining figurative language data personification, reducing data, classifying data, analyzing data and interpreting data, then concluding. The results of this study indicate that Personification in Sabian Poetry by Oka Rusmini consists of personification of nature and personification of objects. The use of personification in literary works of poetry gives rise to ownership in poets equating nature, inanimate objects or living creatures other than humans with human-like characteristics and characteristics, thereby giving rise to the value of beauty, and imagination and creating emotional closeness between poets and readers, and being able to train readers' sensitivity to the environment.
