Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hipertensi merupakan tekanan darah persisten dimana tekanan sistoliknya ≥ 140 mmHg dan tekanan diastolik ≥90 mmHg. Hipertensi tergolong penyakit kronis yang dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya komplikasi seperti stroke, penyakit jantung koroner dan gagal ginjal, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengkajian kemampuan pengetahuan pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis Pengaruh edukasi konseling berbasis teori Health Belief Model terhadap pengetahuanpencegahan komplikasi hipertensi di Karanganyar. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pre test dan post test design pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Tehnik sampling purposive sampling dengan kriteria pasien hipertensi berusia > 46 tahun yang berobat di Puskesmas Tasikmadu Karanganyar. Jumlah sampel masing-masing kelompok sebanyak 48 responden. Responden diberikan sebanyak 20 pertanyaan untuk mengukur pengetahuan pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi. Analisis data menggunakan Mann Whitney.  Hasil: Paling banyak berusia 56-65 tahun 43 responden (44,8%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki 53 responden (55,2%), berpendidikan SMA sederajat 39 repsonden (40,6%), bekerja sebagai swasta 55 responden (57,3%), dan menderita hipertensi antara 1 tahun sampai 5 tahun 63 repsonden (65,6%). Tingkat pengetahuan pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi pada kelompok intervensi lebih tinggi sebesar 37,40 (Baik) dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol sebesar 31,77 (Baik). Terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada kelompok intervensi pre test dan post test dengan nilai P-Value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok kontrol pre test dan post test dengan nilai P-Valuesebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai P-Value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan: Edukasi konseling berbasis teori Health Belief Model  dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi.

Abstract

A strong nursepreneur is able to work independently, has a vision, is creative, and dares to take risks. Nurse communication is the foundation for the success of a nurse's dual role. The aim of this community service is to improve the quality of knowledge services provided as an important role in the success and growth of the rescue business. The aspect measured is increased knowledge. Service is carried out by providing education to students. Before providing education, it was carried out by giving a pre-test questionnaire and interviews with the results of students' knowledge regarding nursepreneurs regarding nurse communication was lacking and after providing education a post-test was given with the results of students' knowledge increasing. 60 vocational school students from the nursing skills program participated in this educational event enthusiastically paying attention to PPTs, leaflets, lectures and discussions for 45 minutes. The results of this service show an increase in students’ knowledge by actively participating with the resource persons. The conclusion of this service is that nurse communication is the first step for novice nursepreneurs as nursepreneurs in the world of very tight economic competition. Therefore, schools should provide good student communication practice laboratories.

Abstract

Compliance is the main key so that disease control can be controlled optimally, especially in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Poor compliance behavior increases the risk of serious complications, reduced quality of life, morbidity and mortality, and costs for treatment. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Short Message Service Reminder and Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) based on the Health Promotion Model (HPM) on patient compliance with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The design of this research is Quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. The number of samples was 56 respondents. Wilcoxon test The instrument in this research is a questionnaire created by researchers which is used to determine compliance with type 2 diabetes mellitus treatment, which consists of 14 statement items. The results of the study showed that the level of compliance of respondents before the intervention was carried out mostly had a moderate level of compliance, namely 48 respondents (88%) and the level of compliance of respondents after the intervention was carried out mostly had a high level of compliance, namely 52 respondents (96%). The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis in the intervention group obtained a p value = 0.000. This shows that there is a significant difference in compliance between the pretest and posttest. Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui program penyuluhan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit hipertensi dan senam hipertensi. Penyuluhan berlangsung selama 30 menit di Perumahan Klodran Indah Kecamatan Colomadu Kabupaten Karanganyar pada tanggal 22 Desember 2023. Metode penyuluhan melibatkan pengumpulan informasi awal, proses birokrasi dan perijinan, serta penyebaran informasi kepada warga. Pretest dilakukan sebelum penyuluhan, dan posttest dilakukan setelahnya untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan. Pelaksanaan penyuluhan melibatkan ceramah, media leaflet, dan video senam hipertensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 28% dari rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 54% menjadi skor posttest sebesar 81%, menunjukkan efektivitas program penyuluhan. Penerapan senam hipertensi juga terbukti memberikan manfaat positif terhadap kesehatan jantung dan kesejahteraan fisik dan emosional peserta. Oleh karena itu, program ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam upaya pencegahan dan pengelolaan hipertensi.

Latar Belakang: Tindakan prosedural pada anak sering menimbulkan kecemasan yang berdampak pada peningkatan respons stres dan ketidaknyamanan selama perawatan. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis yang terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan kecemasan adalah penggunaan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) sebagai metode distraksi visual. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Virtual Reality terhadap kecemasan anak yang menjalani tindakan prosedural. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi- eksperimen one group pretest-posttest dengan jumlah sampel 36 anak berusia 3–12 tahun yang menjalani tindakan prosedur. Intervensi Penggunaan VR selama 5–10 menit sebelum dan selama prosedur berlangsung dan diukur menggunakan Modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale–Short Form (m-YPAS-SF). Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan tingkat signifikansi p < 0,05. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan terdapat penurunan signifikan rata-rata skor kecemasan anak dari 46,82 (SD = 11,608) menjadi 26,06 (SD = 3,857) setelah intervensi VR, dengan nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). VR efektif menurunkan kecemasan anak selama tindakan prosedural. Simpulan: Virtual Reality terbukti efektif sebagai metode distraksi nonfarmakologis yang dapat menurunkan kecemasan dan meningkatkan kenyamanan anak selama tindakan prosedural. Abstract Background: Procedural interventions in children often cause anxiety, leading to increased stress responses and discomfort during treatment. One of the non-pharmacological interventions proven effective in reducing anxiety is the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as a visual distraction method. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of Virtual Reality on anxiety levels in children undergoing procedural interventions. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving 36 children aged 3–12 years who underwent procedural interventions. The intervention consisted of using Virtual Reality for 5– 10 minutes before and during the procedure, and anxiety levels were measured using the Modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale–Short Form (m-YPAS-SF). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The findings showed a significant decrease in the mean anxiety score from 46.82 (SD = 11.608) to 26.06 (SD = 3.857) after the VR intervention, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Virtual Reality (VR) is effective in reducing children’s anxiety during procedural interventions. Conclusion: Virtual Reality has been proven to be an effective non-pharmacological distraction method that can decrease anxiety and enhance comfort in children undergoing procedural treatments
