Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar terencana untuk mewujudkan proses pembelajaran agar siswa aktif mengembangkan potensi dalam dirinya. Namun, pada kenyataannya, mewujudkan proses pembelajaran bukanlah hal yang mudah. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik, salah satunya adalah kurangnya minat siswa untuk membaca materi dalam buku sehingga berdampak kurangnya pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh tampilan buku yang terlalu monoton sehingga diperlukan penggantian ke e-modul. E-modul merupakan inovasi dari modul konvensional dengan memanfaatkan peran teknologi sehingga modul yang dibuat menjadi lebih menarik dan interkatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas e-modul fisika berbasis PBL pada materi gelombang cahaya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. E-modul dikembangkan dengan tiga tahapan, yakni pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan penilaian serta telah dinyatakan valid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian pre-test dan post-test kepada 36 siswa SMAN Arjasa Jember. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa penggunaan e-modul fisika berbasis PBL pada materi gelombang cahaya cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji distribusi normal dan paired sample t-test. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi arahan bagi para guru dan tenaga pendidik lain untuk mengembangkan e-modul fisika pada materi yang lainnya.

Abstract

Scientific communication skills are included in the 21st century skills, where this skill refers to an individual's ability to communicate clearly in orally and writing. To determine student’s scientific communication skills, we needed applied learning activities who support this skill and one of them is Project Based Learning learning model. Project based learning is a learning strategy that empowers students to gain new knowledge and understanding. The aim of this research is to analyze scientific communication skills for senior high school students' on alternative energy material. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a case method design. This research was placed at SMAN 1 Jember in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection method used is through tests, observation and documentation. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.The result of this research is known that students' scientific communication skills are included in the quite good category. The best indicator of scientific communication skills is the use of scientific language terms with an achievement of 80%, while the indicators of composing scientific topics, conveying natural phenomena specifically and representing findings or evidence have an achievement of 60%. When observations were made, students had carried out their roles well. Teachers guide and motivate students and students are active and enthusiastic when learning takes place.

Abstract

Abstrak Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi masalah kesehatan yang serius baik di Indonesia maupun di Dunia Hipertensi meningkat seiring bertambahnya usia. Usia produktif merupakan kelompok risiko yang rawan terkena hipertensi. Metode pengukuran dari intervensi ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan one-group pretest-posttest design dimana mengukur perbandingan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment berupa senam hipertensi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan terjadi penurunan tekanan darah setelah dilakukan senam hipertensi sebanyak empat kali masing-masing satu kali per minggu. Penurunan rata-rata tekanan sistolik dari yang tertinggi 160 mmHg menjadi 125 mmHg dan tekanan diastolik tertinggi 100 mmHg menjadi 80 mmHg. Kata kunci: senam hipertensi, pengendalian, tekanan darah

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Dr. Soetomo V Surabaya in the topic of data collection and presentation. The background of this research is the low level of student interest and participation in conventional learning, indicating the need for innovation through more engaging and effective teaching methods. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data were collected through observation and student achievement tests. The results showed an improvement in students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the TGT model. The percentage of class mastery increased from 87% in the first cycle to 91% in the second cycle. The average student score also increased from 87 to 89.5. Therefore, the implementation of the TGT model proved to be effective in improving student learning outcomes. This model also created a more enjoyable, competitive, and collaborative learning environment, making it highly relevant for teaching Mathematics at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Scientific communication is included in 21st century skills. This skill is important for students in order to be successful in science. One way to teach this skill by implementing STEM-SDGs learning. The 14th SDGs goal regarding ocean ecosystems can be conveyed through material on the physics of global warming. The aim of this research was to analyze the level of student’s scientific communication skills in discussing SDGs issues related to global warming through STEM learning. This research was a qualitative descriptive with a case method design. This research was conducted at SMAN Kalisat in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection method used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research data were analyzed using SG code. Based on the research results, it was found that STEM-SDGs learning can improved scientific communication skills. Scientific communication skills in indicators conveying specific natural phenomena increased from SG+ to SG++, indicators conveying scientific topics and representing scientific findings or evidence increased from SG- to SG++. However, the indicator for the use of scientific language terms tended to remain stable at SG-, showing no increase.
