Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS siswa setelah diterapkannya metode pembelajaran Talking Stick siswa Kelas V SD/AWP Suar Dwipa Giri Mekar . Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan dua siklus yang berjumlah 11 orang pada setiap siklusnya terdapat empat komponen yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD/AWP Suar Dwipa Giri Mekar tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui tes dan observasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah untuk meganalisis deskriptif, kualitatif, dan kuantitatif dengan kreteria keberhasilan nilai siswa mencapai rerata minimum 80 dan ketuntasan klasikal minimum 85%. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD/AWP Suar Dwipa Giri Mekar . Hal ini dapat dilihat skor rata – rata pada siklus I sebesar 64,27 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 64%. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,18 dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 91% dan sudah mencapai target yang ditetapkan peneliti. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD/AWP Suar Dwipa Giri Mekar Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023

Abstract

This study aims to improve the English vocabulary mastery of first-grade students at Rendang Public Elementary School 3 on the topic of Colors through the implementation of YouTube as a learning medium. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 17 first-grade students in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through tests, observations, and field notes, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed a significant increase in students’ average vocabulary scores—from 51.96 in the pre-test to 87.78 in the post-test of the first cycle, and from 67.59 to 89.68 in the second cycle. In addition to academic improvement, students also showed more active, enthusiastic, and participatory learning behavior during the teaching process. The use of YouTube videos combining visual, auditory, and kinesthetic elements proved effective in strengthening students’ vocabulary retention while creating a fun and interactive learning environment. Therefore, YouTube is considered an effective and contextual medium for teaching English vocabulary, aligning with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes creativity, active participation, and learner autonomy.

Abstract

The ASA Cendikia Program: Fostering Students’ Learning Motivation in Rendang Village is a community service initiative aimed at enhancing students’ motivation and the overall quality of education at the elementary school level in Rendang Village. The program was initiated in response to low student interest in learning and limited educational facilities, which have negatively affected students’ academic achievement. The methodology employed in this program consisted of four main stages: planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The activities were carried out through collaborative involvement of university students, teachers, and local village authorities as key partners. Program activities included academic tutoring, distribution of learning materials, introduction to interactive learning methods, and motivational training for students. The results indicate a notable increase in students’ enthusiasm for learning, improved interaction between teachers and students, and heightened awareness of the importance of education. Therefore, this program is expected to serve as a sustainable model of educational empowerment that supports the enhancement of learning motivation in rural communities.
