Abstract

Dalam Ibadah Minggu, Gereja Kristen Sumba selalu menggunakan pola iringan musik untuk mengiringi nyanyian jemaat. Untuk itu yang menjadi tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) Mengetahui penggunaan pola iringan musik ibadah yang digunakan dalam Ibadah Minggu, (2) Menerapkan dan memodifikasi penggunaan pola iringan musik yang benar dalam  Ibadah Minggu, (3) Menemukan  respons jemaat terhadap penggunaan pola iringan musik dalam Ibadah Minggu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian adalah penggunaan pola iringan musik yang benar perlu untuk diterapkan di dalam ibadah sehingga dapat membantu jemaat untuk mengekspresikan suasana hati atau ekspresi imannya dalam ibadah. Untuk itulah, penggunaan pola iringan yang tepat dalam mengiringi nyanyian dari buku hymnal adalah pola iringan melodis. Hal ini karena pola iringan melodis dapat memengaruhi jiwa manusia karena lebih bersentuhan dengan aspek spiritual manusia. Dengan demikian, ketika ibadah, jiwa manusia makin didekatkan dengan Tuhan melalui nyanyian. Dalam konteks pendidikan, hasil penelitian tersebut  dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang bagaimana musik dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan mental dan spiritual seseorang. Kata kunci: Pola iringan musik, melodis, Ibadah Minggu, nyanyian jemaat, hymne The use of musical accompaniment patterns in Sunday Worship at the Christian Church of Sumba (GKS), Waingapu Classis AbstractIn Sunday Worship, the Christian Church of Sumba always uses music accompaniment patterns to accompany the congregation's singing. Therefore, the research objectives are: (1) To understand the use of worship music accompaniment patterns in Sunday Worship, (2) To apply and modify the correct use of music accompaniment patterns in Sunday Worship, (3) To explore the congregation's response to the use of music accompaniment patterns in Sunday Worship. The research method employed is qualitative research. The findings suggest that the correct use of music accompaniment patterns is essential to be implemented in worship, as it can assist the congregation in expressing their mood or faith expression in worship. Hence, the appropriate use of accompaniment patterns in accompanying hymns from the hymnal book is the melodic accompaniment pattern. This is because melodic accompaniment patterns can affect the human soul as they are more connected with the spiritual aspect of humans. Thus, during worship, the human soul is brought closer to God through singing. In the educational context, these research findings can be used to enhance understanding of how music can influence an individual's mental and spiritual well-being. Keywords: Music accompaniment patterns, melodic, Sunday Worship, congregation singing, hymn

Abstract

This study aims to reveal students' perceptions of the use of learning technology in the subject of Arts and Culture at State Vocational High School 2 Kupang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that most students have a positive perception of the use of learning technology. Students feel more interested, motivated, and easy to understand learning materials. However, there are several obstacles encountered, such as limited access to technology and lack of teacher skills in using technology. This study concludes that the use of learning technology has great potential to improve the quality of Arts and Culture learning at State Vocational High School 2 Kupang. The effectiveness of the use of technology in the context of arts and culture learning and provides recommendations for teachers and schools in integrating technology optimally. The main challenges in the use of learning technology are the lack of adequate infrastructure, lack of training for teachers, and lack of variation in the use of technology. To overcome these challenges, efforts need to be made to improve technological infrastructure, ongoing training for teachers, and the development of more varied technology-based learning materials.

Abstract

Since the pandemic until after the Covid-19 pandemic, learning has been carried out online, including at Citra Bangsa Christian High School, but students are required to continue to increase their achievement motivation because of that, social support from parents is needed. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Parental Social Support on Student Achievement Motivation using the Quantitative method. The sample determined was 209 students using the Taro Yamane formula. The Parental Social Support Scale according to Taylor while the Achievement Motivation according to McCleland. The instrument has met the Valid and Reliable requirements. The prerequisite test also meets the criteria. Hypothesis testing with Regression analysis found a calculated t value> t table (5.426> 1.285) with a significance of 0.00. The effective contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 25%. It can be concluded that Parental Social Support has a significant influence on the Achievement Motivation of Citra Bangsa Kupang Christian High School students when implementing Online learning. It also proves that the higher the Parental Social Support, the higher the student's Achievement Motivation and vice versa, the lower the Parental Social Support, the lower the student's Achievement Motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui pentingnya media dan teknologi pembelajaran untuk kreativitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran seni di Sekolah Menengah Teologi Kristen Tarus Kabupaten Kupang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang berkualitas memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung kreativitas peserta didik. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa masalah seperti resolusi gambar dan pembaruan konten yang dapat menghambat kreativitas peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan kualitas media dan perbaikan infrastruktur agar pembelajaran seni dapat berjalan secara efektif. Selain itu, teknologi seperti laptop dan internet juga memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik, dengan memperkaya pengalaman belajar dan mendorong mereka untuk bereksplorasi ide-ide baru. Namun, kesenjangan dalam akses teknologi juga perlu diperhatikan agar semua peserta didik dapat memanfaatkan teknologi secara setara. Integrasi media dan teknologi di dalam pembelajaran seni sangat mendukung perkembangan kreativitas peserta didik, sehingga mereka dapat menghasilkan karya seni yang inovatif. Oleh karena itu, peran guru dalam memanfaatkan media dan teknologi secara optimal sangat penting dalam merangsang kreativitas dan perkembangan artistik peserta didik.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low participation of high school and vocational high school students in Kupang City in promoting regional arts and culture through social media. A survey revealed that students' awareness of the importance of preserving and promoting local culture was still minimal, leading to a decline in the prominence of regional arts and culture. This situation underscores the critical role of students in safeguarding and promoting regional arts and culture in the digital age.The objective of this activity was to educate students about the significance of their role in preserving regional culture and train them to utilize social media as an effective promotional tool. The methods employed in this activity included training sessions, discussions, and hands-on practice. The materials covered the role of students in promoting arts and culture, social media trends, creative content creation techniques, and the use of Google Sites to build simple websites.The results of this activity demonstrate an increase in students' understanding of the importance of their role in promoting regional culture. Students successfully created creative content and simple websites to serve as platforms for promoting arts and culture. In conclusion, social media can be a powerful tool for disseminating regional arts and culture more widely, and students, as the next generation, bear the responsibility of preserving cultural identity in this digital era.
