Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan bagian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari metode belajar yang digunakan di dalam kelas. Ada beragam jenis dan macam media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan di dalam kelas. Satu bentuk media yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini adalah media pembelejaran berbasis teknologi. Oleh karena itu, perlu ditingkatkan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah. Hal ini dapat diawali dengan pengenalan berbagai media dan bahan ajar matematika berbasis teknologi, dan dapat dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan pendampingan penggunaan media pembelajaran tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, mengambil tema pengajaran berbantuan media berbasis android. Pada kegiatan ini, tim pengabdian melakukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan media pembelajaran Mobile Learning Artic. Mitra dalam program pengabdian ini adalah MA Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon. Sosialisasi dan pendampingan dilakukan terhadap peserta didik kelas 10 di MA Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon.  Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Mengadopsi metode ini, kegiatan pengabdian diterapkan dalam bentuk sosialisasi dan pendampingan secara langsung tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran Mobile Learning Artic. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, menunjukkan: 1) peserta didik lebih termotivasi dalam mempelajari materi dimensi tiga, karena menggunakan media pembelajaran ini yang inovatif, 2) peserta didik juga menjadi lebih antusias dan aktif berinteraksi, 3) hasil post-test menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran Mobile Learning Artic meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi dimensi tiga.

Abstract

One of the prerequisites for students in studying mathematics is to understand integers, both positive and negative integers. But negative integers have significant differences with positive integers. In addition, negative integers are known to have a significant difference with positive integers. Therefore the purpose of this research is to see how students understand negative integers by using a number line. The subjects of this study were class VI students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Nganjuk. From this study, it was found that 50% of students described the position of numbers on the number line by sorting them and without writing negative signs. 8% of students describe the position of numbers on the number line with the appropriate concept. 17% of students describe the position of numbers on the number line correctly but ignore the zeros. And as much as 25% of students describe the position of numbers on the number line by only writing positive numbers on the right side.

Abstract

The concept of social arithmetic is widely applied in various real life contexts. However, many students experience difficulties in learning and understanding the concept of social arithmetic. This is because learning in class generally focuses on memorizing formulas and does not involve students building their understanding independently. In general, mathematics activities are also presented in routine problems in which the students operate the numbers listed in the questions into mathematical formulas. Therefore it is necessary to apply a learning that encourage students to involve actively and to think critically and analytically in learning, so that they are able to build their understanding independently. In addition, learning resources are also needed to present mathematical activities based on real-life contexts and facilitate student centered learning. Learning model that is relevant for achieving this goal is inquiry-based learning, and learning resources that can be used are Student Worksheets (LKPD). Therefore this study aims to produce valid and practical inquiry-based worksheets on concept of social arithmetic for seventh grade students. This study is a Research and Development (RD) study and applies ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that the LKPD meet valid and practical criteria, and the results of the learning tests show that the LKPD has a potential effect on conceptual understanding skills and could be used in learning.

Abstract

Kalikejambon merupakan salah satu desa di wilayah Kecamatan Tembelang. Setiap desa di Indonesia memiliki karakteristik dan ciri khasnya tersendiri yang mana hal ini menjadi peluang bagi setiap desa untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara mandiri. Pengembangan potensi desa bertujuan untuk mendorong terwujudnya kemandirian masyarakat desa/kelurahan melalui pengembangan potensi unggul. Salah satu potensi utama Desa Kalikejambon ada pada sektor pertanian dan perkebunan, salah satunya yaitu tanaman bunga pacar air yang banyak ditanam masyarakat di sekitar pekarangan rumah dan kebun warga. Dengan memperhatikan hasil bunga pacar air yang melimpah di Desa Kalikejambon, hal ini memberi peluang untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomis bunga tersebut. Oleh karena itu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan pembuatan sabun cuci piring alami dengan memafaatkan bunga pacar air. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksakana terhadap masyarakat desa Kalikejambon, terutama ibu-ibu PKK. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini ibu-ibu PKK peserta pelatihan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang potensi desa Kalikejambon dan peluang pemanfaatan potensi desa. Selain itu masyarakat juga mendapat pengetahuan bahwa bunga pacar air memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi, salah satunya dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan sabun cuci piring alami. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, ibu-ibu PKK dan warga desa Kalikejambon memperoleh keterampilan membuat sabun cuci piring alami dengan memanfaatkan tanaman bunga pacar air.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022, which lasted for approximately three years, caused online learning, so that learning was less than optimal, which caused female students to be less proficient in reading, writing and calculating. Reading, writing and calculating are very important because they are the main foundation for continuing to a higher grade level. Therefore, in this community service, we will provide media that can help students learn calistung more quickly, namely Flashcard media. This is also the main objective of implementing this community service, namely helping students to learn happily, so that students can easily understand and be faster in reading, writing and basic calculations. The subjects in this service are students of the Miftahul Huda Madrasah Ibtidaiyah class 1 to class 3. Based on the results of the Flashcard media application, there are differences in students' understanding after using it. Keywords: learning media, flashcards, calistung skills

Abstract

Technological progress is something that cannot be avoided in today's life, because technological progress will run in line with scientific progress. Every innovation is created to provide positive benefits, provide many conveniences, and as a new way of carrying out activities for human life. Especially in the field of technology, society has enjoyed the many benefits brought by the innovations that have been produced in the last decade. Therefore, current technological advances must be utilized for economic needs, one of which is to market superior products from UMKM. Apart from that, to support marketing, training is provided for product packaging to make it more attractive. So the potential for product sales will be greater. Abstract

Hydroponic planting media is a planting system that does not use soil to grow plants, instead it can use water. Many people already use hydroponic media but there is more effort to monitor the planting process, this is a new obstacle to the hydroponic system. Therefore, to support the hydroponic planting system to make it more efficient, this Pkm has a theme of IOT Based Irrigation. The location of this Pkm is in Kedunglumpang Village, Mojoagung subdistrict, Jombang district. Pkm participants include farmers, PKK, IPNU, and IPPNU. The result of this Pkm is that the majority of local people are familiar with hydroponic but do not understand the implementation process. Then, after attending the training, many people were enthusiastic about making hydroponic media using IoT technology in their yards.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of learning motivation of class VII students at SMP Al - Furqon before and after implementing the problem based learning model. The research method used was pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design and used a quantitative research approach. . The subject of this research was class VII A of Al-Furqon Middle School. The research instruments used were pre-questionnaires and post-questionnaires as well as test results as supporting data. The questionnaire instrument is in the form of statements regarding pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire learning motivation to measure students' learning motivation before and after implementing the problem based learning model assisted by ethnomathematics learning media which is supported by student test results. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing. However, before carrying out a hypothesis test, the data obtained must first be tested for normality. Based on the calculation of the paired sample t test using IBM statistics 29 which shows that the significance value is 0.001. The significance value shows 0.001 < 0.05 error level, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Acceptance of this Ha means that there is an influence of the problem based learning model assisted by ethnomathematics learning media on social arithmetic material on students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes are often caused by problems in classroom learning activities. One of them is the use of learning media which is limited to printed books, this can reduce student enthusiasm and participation, so that most students become passive. One learning model that is able to overcome this problem is inquiry learning, because it prioritizes the active role of groups. This research aims to explore more about the inquiry learning model in the classroom. This research was conducted in class VIII A of SMPN 1 Tembelang. Using the quantitative experimental method Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Learning is carried out in two cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data was collected through observing student and teacher learning activities, learning results tests, and documentation. The research results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. In cycle I, there were 2 out of 15 students who achieved completeness, in cycle II this increased to 13 students. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the application of group inquiry learning can significantly increase students' motivation and active participation.

Abstract

Waste from each house can have an impact on the quantity of waste in that area. One solution to reduce this waste is to utilize household waste into useful products, namely by turning the waste into Eco-enzyme fertilizer. This activity was carried out in Kedunglumpang village, Mojoagung sub-district, Jombang district. The training participants included the PKK and IPNU IPPNU organizations in Kedunglumpang Village, totaling 30 people. Based on the pretest given to participants, it was found that almost 70% of participants did not know about the use of organic waste. After participating in this Pkm training, participants were given a posttest and found that 100% of the participants knew, understood and were enthusiastic about applying Eco-enzyme fertilizer production from organic waste
