Abstract

Wesakin Village, Wouma District, is an area located on the banks of the " Uwe" river. Rivers are very important for the survival of the people living in the village. The " Uwe" river should be preserved but the current situation is the opposite. The preservation of the “ Uwe” river has received little attention from the government, whether in terms of transportation facilities, residential facilities or infrastructure in accelerating regional development. Wesakin Village has been one of the areas affected by natural disasters since in the last 5 years, the impact of this phenomenon resulted in damaged infrastructure. This research uses qualitative methods, while data collection techniques in this research include observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this research show that there are morphological changes in the residential area on the banks of the “ Uwe” river, which used to be just an ordinary river bank, but as time goes by, there is residential development where the banks of the " Uwe" river, settlements are now starting to become disorganized due to natural disasters such as landslides and flash floods. which once affected Wesakin Village. There are two morphological changes, namely morphological changes in community residential areas and natural morphological changes that occur in changes in the structure of soil and rocks. Abstract

Tujuan untuk mengetahui observasi peduli lingkungan dan pemetaan sumber daya lahan di kabupaten Jayawijaya. Karena tidak diketahui sebaran dan luasan potensi lahan yang ada, perencanaan penggunaan lahan belum optimal dilakukan, dan potensi sumber daya lahan di Distrik Hubikiak cukup luas, namun belum terinventarisasi dan dikelola dengan maksimal. Aparat pemerintah kampung juga harus lebih memahami peta. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Aparat Pemerintahan Kampung tentang pemetaan sumber daya lahan, kepedulian lingkungan, dan proses pembuatan peta. Survei pendahuluan, sosialisasi, penyuluhan, Forum Grup Diskusi (FGD), survey lapangan, observasi, dan evaluasi adalah semua metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sangat bagus, dan pemahaman mereka tentang lingkungan dapat meningkat. Menghasilkan Peta Potensi Sumber Daya Lahan di Kampung Musaima I distrik Hubikiak, yang memiliki potensi sumber daya lahan yang paling luas yang dapat dikelola dengan baik, adalah langkah akhir dari kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

Preserving Indonesian culture today by reviving the local wisdom of the people. Through local wisdom, Indonesian culture is believed to be able to build and solve problems related to society and culture. In local wisdom, there are various values that have been used by previous generations that can still be used by current and future generations, to solve problems, especially regarding the preservation of Indonesian culture. Methodologically, this study used a qualitative ethnographic method with a descriptive approach. The Tabot ceremony is a religious ceremony adapted into a cultural ethnic festival. The history of this ceremony originates from the tradition of the Shia sect which seeks to commemorate Husen's death in Padang Karbala, in 680. Apart from the Tabot, Bengkulu also has unique cultural heritage through Besurek batik cloth. very memorable. The meanings and values implied in it contain lessons that have an effect on human life in the city of Bengkulu and other areas. So that we can take values and apply them and adapt them in our daily lives. The concept of conserving Bengkulu local wisdom as a form of cultural identity is one of the aims of initiating the development of Bengkulu city branding. From the concept of city branding, Bengkulu will be a color in the national culture, giving identity to the Indonesian nation and can be used by all people. National culture gives a sense of pride in the Indonesian nation

Abstract

This study aims to explore the challenges and solutions in strategic planning of infrastructure and natural resources in Jayawijaya Regency, especially in the context of climate change. It was found that dependence on non-renewable energy sources contributes to climate change and disrupts energy supply. Proposed solutions include the development of renewable energy infrastructure, such as hydropower and solar energy, which can be integrated with sustainable natural resource management. Utilization of natural resources, such as air and sunlight, is expected to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy security. Spatial planning that considers energy networks is crucial to ensure accessibility and equitable distribution of energy throughout the region. Through this study, Jayawijaya Regency can not only face the challenges of climate change, but also create a more efficient and sustainable energy system, support economic growth, and improve the quality of life of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the zoning of green open spaces in the LAPAGO (Papua Mountains Customary Institution) region and reveal their existence and distribution in the context of sustainable urban environmental management. Furthermore, this study also wants to identify local wisdom applied by tribes in the Mountains region in managing green open spaces, so that cultural values can be integrated into regional planning and management. This research approach is a qualitative analysis based on observation, then the types of data and data sources collected in this study consist of primary data and secondary data from the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities of the Papua Mountains RTRW. The results obtained are that by identifying local wisdom applied by tribes in the Mountains region, this study shows how the practice of mutual cooperation and cultural values contribute to the effective management of green open spaces. The results of the study are expected to provide a basis for integrating cultural values in regional planning and management, supporting environmental sustainability, and preserving the cultural identity of indigenous communities.

Abstract

Lance Island, as the only island located in Tembesi Village, Sagulung District, Batam, has its challenges, especially in the provision and management of infrastructure in developing its area. This research aims to identify potential infrastructure that can increase the participation of the Lance Island community in the development of their region. This research analyzes existing infrastructure and identifies opportunities to develop better infrastructure obtained through field surveys, observations, interviews, and distributing questionnaires, using a qualitative descriptive analysis method approach which provides an overview of the situation of research results as well as quantitative analysis through regression analysis methods. multiple linear, with three independent variables in the form of electricity network infrastructure (X1), clean water network infrastructure (X2), and communal wastewater network infrastructure (X3), while the dependent variable is community participation (Y). The results of the variables of electricity network infrastructure, clean water network infrastructure, and communal wastewater network infrastructure as a whole significantly support community participation in the development of the Lance Island area and the results of this research can guide the government and stakeholders in increasing Lance Island's potential as a tourist village.
