Abstract

CV Jabal Rahmat is one of the MSMEs under the guidance of the Cooperative and SME Office of North Sumatra Province, this MSME produces Puri Aren which comes from fresh sap water directly extracted by palm oil farmers without any additives and preservatives. Puri Aren is growing very rapidly, it can be seen that Puri Aren is already available in 60 supermarkets and besides that Puri Aren has exported to various countries such as Malaysia, the Netherlands and others. Seeing this very rapid development, of course, CV Jabal Rahmat needs to pay attention to managing the risks that occur in its business. Risks can occur from various aspects both environmental, financial, marketing, HR and other uncertainties which of course this will interfere with CV Jabal Rahmat's income. The focus of service objectives according to thematic and RIRN fields is the fields of social and cultural arts and education related to research topics, namely entrepreneurship, MSMEs in terms of strengthening the capacity of MSMEs to increase income from MSMEs themselves. The implementation methods carried out in this activity program are planning, implementation and sustainability. The results of this service can be concluded that the interest of CV Jabal Rahmat service participants to practice this service activity has been successful. About 70% of owners and employees attend and feel happy to take part in this training because it can add insight into risk management.

Abstract

Abstrak : Pajak karbon merupakan instrumen fiskal yang semakin mendapat perhatian sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan perubahan iklim. Penelitian ini menganalisis potensi pajak karbon dalam memperbaiki kondisi ekonomi dan lingkungan. Studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa pajak karbon dapat mendorong transisi menuju ekonomi rendah karbon, meningkatkan penerimaan negara, serta memberikan insentif bagi inovasi teknologi ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas tantangan implementasi pajak karbon dan upaya mitigasi yang dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan pajak karbon terhadap perekonomian. Analisis terhadap berbagai studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa pajak karbon tidak hanya dapat mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca, tetapi juga dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap perekonomian. Pajak karbon dapat mendorong pertumbuhan sektor industri hijau, menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, dan meningkatkan efisiensi energi. Namun, penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya desain kebijakan pajak karbon yang tepat untuk meminimalkan dampak negatif terhadap kelompok masyarakat tertentu. Abstract : Carbon tax is a fiscal instrument that is increasingly receiving attention as a solution to overcome the problem of climate change. This research analyzes the potential of a carbon tax in improving economic and environmental conditions. Literature studies show that carbon taxes can encourage the transition to a low-carbon economy, increase state revenues, and provide incentives for environmentally friendly technological innovation. Apart from that, this research also discusses the challenges of implementing carbon and mitigation efforts that can be carried out. This research aims to apply the impact of implementing a carbon tax on the economy. Analysis of various case studies shows that carbon taxes can not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but can also have a positive impact on the economy. A carbon tax can encourage the growth of green industrial sectors, create new jobs and improve energy efficiency. However, this research also highlights the importance of appropriate carbon policy design to minimize negative impacts on certain societal groups.

Abstract

Iron deficiency anemia is a common health issue among breastfeeding mothers, which can affect the quality of breast milk and the mother's health. This study evaluates the effectiveness of apple juice mixed with beet consumption in increasing hemoglobin (HB) levels in breastfeeding mothers and the potential of this juice as a business opportunity. The research method involved an experimental study with treatment and control groups. The results showed a significant increase in HB levels in the group consuming apple juice mixed with beets. Additionally, the market potential for this product indicates a promising business opportunity for the community. This study suggests the implementation of apple juice mixed with beets as a nutritional intervention and a local business opportunity.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance financial literacy and investment knowledge among employees of Beryl’s Chocolate and Confectionery Sdn Bhd in Seri Kembangan. By adopting insights from international research and financial education programs implemented in developed countries such as the US, UK, and Australia, the company seeks to improve employees' financial decision-making, long-term savings, and investment strategies. This initiative includes structured training, interactive workshops, and workplace investment schemes, which are expected to enhance financial stability, reduce stress, and improve productivity and employee retention. Additionally, this research explores strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesian products through research conducted by the UMN Al-Washliyah team. By focusing on product innovation, digital transformation, and export readiness, the study provides SMEs with strategies to improve product quality, adopt sustainable production methods, and utilize e-commerce and financial technology to expand market reach. The Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP) plays a crucial role in bridging academia and industry, fostering collaboration among businesses, researchers, and government agencies to support sustainable economic growth. This research emphasizes the importance of financial literacy and investment knowledge in enhancing employee well-being while strengthening the global competitiveness of Indonesian products.
