Abstract

Being a leader will be held accountable, at least that is to lead himself or to lead others. Does not discriminate between race, ethnicity, nation, or class. The word leader in the perspective of Islamic education has several words, namely khilafah and imam. Khilafah which means successor, heir, who is in front, followed in his footsteps both in words and deeds. While the word priest is defined as a husband and is also exemplified by the prophet Abraham as a leader for his people. Who commands in virtue and helps those who are weak as Allah has taught his people. In writing this article using the method of literature study approach. This approach is taken in collecting data from articles, journals, and others related to the theme of this article. Of course to know what ideal leadership looks like in the perspective of Islamic education as a reference.

Abstract

Calligraphy is the art of writing the Qur'an using certain techniques so that it has aesthetic value. Writing calligraphy is not only used as a skill. But there are values of Islamic education contained in it. Because basically the purpose of Islamic education is to make students have noble character and be able to maximize their role as servants of Allah and caliphs on earth. Even the first revelation of Allah SWT that came down was an order to read and write. This is the basis for the author to conduct this research. In this study the authors used qualitative research methods with literature study data collection techniques. This study aims to determine the values of Islamic education contained in calligraphy artwork. From various scientific sources, it is proven that in writing calligraphy there are Islamic educational values contained in it, namely education on aqidah, morals, and worship.

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between educators and students in a learning environment to achieve educational goals. The purpose of Islamic religious education is for students to understand and practice Islamic teachings in accordance with the Al-Qur'an and sunnah, and to maximize their role as servants and caliphs of Allah. In achieving the goal of Islamic religious education is certainly not easy especially when teaching deaf children. Where the deaf child has a hearing loss so it is difficult to receive information. In this article, the authors conducted research at SLB Negeri 1 Kulon Progo using a qualitative descriptive approach, with the case study method and data collection techniques through interviews with PAI teachers and observation in deaf groups of 20 children. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems for deaf children in learning Islamic religious education at SLB Negeri 1 Kulon Progo. The results of this study are true that there are problems in learning Islamic religious education for deaf children. Among them are many Islamic religious education subject matter that are abstract in nature so that it is difficult to explain visually, difficult conditioning, limitations in reading, and remembering the material.
