Abstract

The history of civilization during classical Islam experienced significant developments, especially during the Andalusian society. This article aims to describe the Andalusian civilization's glories and its contribution to the renaissance and Aufklarung's birth in the West and its contextualization to advance Islamic education today. This article is a literature research concerning historical literature sources. This study uses a heuristic approach, criticism, interpretation and histography. The analysis and discussion results show that Andalusia has several forms of progress that Western impact progress, which includes several things. First, a civilization which is manifested in thoughts works of art, buildings and literature. Second, education adopted by Western nations through students. Third, a translation which revives the awareness of the use of ratio. As for the current educational context, the Andalusia civilization's implications contribute to an understanding of scientific reasoning, integrating qauliyyah, kauniyah and nafsiyyah logic by forming a learning climate being open to learning Western science without leaving the spiritual element in Islam.

Abstract

Islamic education as part of society's value system cannot be separated from cultural elements. Therefore, the relationship between Islamic education and culture can be an appropriate collaboration in overcoming shifts in values among society. The aim of this research is to represent the values of Islamic education in the Wayang Kekayon Khalifah play Pandanarang Malik Grembyang, which also looks at the implementation of its value content on the social system. This research uses the hermeneutic phenomenology method to study the play text textually and contextually. The results of the research show that the play contains the essence of the dangers of life that deifies the world or the despicable behavior of one's culture. So, the Pandanarang play in the Wayang Kekayon Khalifah art becomes relevant when it is presented to a community that is starting to experience a shift in values. The implications of this research reflect a cultural approach as optimizing Islamic education in society.

Abstract

This article discusses moral aqidah education which is a good medium to guide students to get good morals. In the world of education, there are always changes such as changes in the curriculum that develops. The development of the moral aqidah education curriculum does not only occur in the classroom but also in activities outside the classroom such as extracurricular activities. This article aims to find out that curriculum development programs through extracurricular activities are able to overcome the moral crisis, so that they can become Muslim human beings who develop and can improve the quality and piety of Allah SWT, and have noble character in carrying out daily life. The method used in this article uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. The data collection technique used descriptive data analysis in the form of written data. Based on the article, it can be said that the moral crisis can be overcome through moral aqidah education by developing a curriculum, namely carrying out Islamic extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Calligraphy is the art of writing the Qur'an using certain techniques so that it has aesthetic value. Writing calligraphy is not only used as a skill. But there are values of Islamic education contained in it. Because basically the purpose of Islamic education is to make students have noble character and be able to maximize their role as servants of Allah and caliphs on earth. Even the first revelation of Allah SWT that came down was an order to read and write. This is the basis for the author to conduct this research. In this study the authors used qualitative research methods with literature study data collection techniques. This study aims to determine the values of Islamic education contained in calligraphy artwork. From various scientific sources, it is proven that in writing calligraphy there are Islamic educational values contained in it, namely education on aqidah, morals, and worship.

Abstract

Education becomes one of the ways and processes for improving mental attitudes and developing human potential in order to lift the degree of humanity. As an institution that has a strategic role in society, then ideally every learning activity in the school should be directed to develop potential through activities that effectively also refer to the compound intelligence of its students. This research includes qualitative research that prioritizes excavation, explanation and delivery of the express and implied meaning of the data collected. This research was conducted to find out how Islamic education based on multiple intelligences. Data collection is done by looking at reading materials from previous theories, concepts and research results to be reduced, grouped and identified valid and relevant data. One of the efforts in implementing Islamic Religious Education learning that stimulates multiple intelligences is to creatively prepare lesson plan based on the results of the study style of students. In addition, in the process it is necessary to use active learning strategies that involve different types of student intelligence as well as provide experience in factual problem solving. Learning should also be supported by evaluation in the form of authentic assessments that are useful to observe the development as well as the learning results of students periodically and thoroughly.

Abstract

Amtsal and qashas in the Qur'an can apply as a method and material. The technique uses a systematic way to achieve specific goals - the content as a study discussion or as the theme of the debate in individual learning. The application of amtsal and qashas in the Qur'an would need to use integrating normative tools with several approaches: psychology, linguistics, science, anthropology, sociology as benchmarks in learning. The application of methods in particular operational and operational periods, qashas, and amtsal can be presented as a descriptive narrative that presented with a gripping narration, diction, and vocals that will make students very interested and can take the lessons in question. The development of amtsal and qashas information technology can also modify with socio drama, visual, and video. However, in subsequent events, a child's cognitive development in the conceptual operational phase uses historical, sociological, legal, anthropological, scientific, and technological perspectives, become something that needs to use.

Abstract

From a sociological perspective, religion is considered to have a dual function. On the one hand, it is constructive by embodying the values of love and peace. On the other hand, it is destructive which results in massive damage. One of the efforts to overcome conflicts between multi-religious communities is the effort of dialogue, mitsaq and tolerance. Islamic religious education is one of the mediums in realizing this aspect. By internalizing the awareness of plurality, dialogue efforts by seeking universal religious values, explaining the concept of mitsaq and internalizing the values of tolerance in education, reconciliation efforts against religious conflicts are expected to run effectively so that harmony between religious communities in Indonesia is realized.

Abstract

Optimizing traditional games in improving holistic Islamic education is an important concern. This study aims to determine the benefits of traditional games that are often played by children so that they can be maximized according to the needs that must be met. The research method used is by reviewing regularly and taking articles as references. The search results for related journals were obtained from various journals which were analyzed using data techniques related to the theme. Researchers also made observations of small children who were playing traditional games. The result of the research is that traditional games are very important to be preserved. Besides making the body healthy, traditional games help educate children, especially the physical aspects related to mental and psychological processes. This is important because a small child who is used to playing traditional games will form a character indirectly. Children in today's era are expected to be able to understand the meaning of a traditional game contained in it and be able to apply character values ​​in everyday life.

Abstract

Fasting is an obligation for every Muslim who has fulfilled the requirements to do so, because fasting is the third pillar of Islam in Islam. The purpose of fasting is to make people fear Allah subhaanahu wa ta'ala. The research used is a literature study and in this article provides a review about fasting; understanding, various, arguments, virtues to threats for those who leave. This research was made with the aim that everyone, especially Muslims, can know and understand fasting in depth and more broadly.

Abstract

Wayang Kulit is a very important art to be preserved considering the many values of life that exist in Wayang Kulit itself. The values of Islamic education can also be found in Wayang Kulit art. This study aims to determine that values of Islamic education in the art of Wayang Kulit and the role of the younger generation in preserving the Wayang Kulit. The research of Islamic education values within Wayang Kulit is conducted based on library research. Essentially, the Wayang Kulit is still exist until today, but the problem relied on it is the fact that young generation has not been built to preserve this art. Besides, the Islamic of Indonesian values can be found within the soul of Wayang Kulit, such as in the epic story of Ramayana dan Mahabharata. Wayang Kulit is not merely an art to entertain people, but its role can also be taken as one of educational method. It because within the story of Wayang Kulit itself relied some great, moral, and ethics values.
