Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) is a state of malnutrition, Pathological due to a relative or absolute deficiency or excess of one or more nutrients, and the measurement results of the lila are less than 23.5 cm.  According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2017, the maternal mortality rate throughout the world is estimated at 210/100,000 live births and the neonatal mortality rate has decreased by 38%, namely 36/1000 births. Of all maternal deaths, this is severe bleeding, generally bleeding after childbirth, postpartum infections. , high blood pressure during pregnancy (preeclampsia and eclampsia). The research study method was carried out using a continuous care approach (Countuinity of care) or what is called Comprehensive Midwifery Care with Midwifery Care standards. The target in this case study is Mrs. P, 36 weeks pregnant with her first child, who is willing to sign an informed consent form. The Midwifery Care research study was carried out at the Independent Practice of Midwife Dewi Ciselia in 2024. The time used was 22 July 2024 to 30 July 2024. After being given comprehensive Midwifery Care during the postpartum period, there were 2 repeat visits, no complications or complications were found and in accordance with midwifery service standards, newborns have 2 repeat visits, use birth control injection contraception for 3 months and do not difficulties or complications are found and in accordance with obstetric service standards.

The method for implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health education, evaluated with a pre-test and post-test. The method for implementing the community service is by providing nutrition-aware youth education by means of discussions using ebooklet media about balanced nutrition and KEK. The number of participants who attended was 50 people, 2 students, and 5 midwives. Activities start from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to report preparation stages. As a result of the activity, there was a change in knowledge with an average pre-test of 90.5% of participants' knowledge being in the poor category and post-test results of 95.5% being in the good category. In the skills aspect, all participants present (100%) were able to understand nutritional awareness to prevent CED. Conclusion. Educational activities about nutritional awareness for the prevention of CED can be an effort to increase knowledge and promote nutritional health in the prevention and control of CED. It is hoped that this activity can become a health promotion strategy in preventing and controlling SEZ

Abstract

Breast cancer not only occurs in developed countries but also in developing countries such as Indonesia. Breast cancer ranks 8th out of all cancers in Indonesia. Breast cancer is also a major concern, because it is the most common type of cancer affecting women. This study aims to determine the effect of breast self-examination health education on knowledge, attitudes, and actions of adolescent girls at SMK Kader Bangsa Palembang. This research method uses a quasi-experimental design with pretest posttest. The population was adolescents with menstrual cycles to 7-10 days with a total sample of 26 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The test used was the Wilcoxon Sign Runk Test with p<0.05 using a computer. The results showed that health education on breast self-examination (SADARI) had an effect on knowledge p value (0.000<0.05), attitude p value (0.003)<(0.05), action p value (0.004)<(0.05). Conclusion There is an effect of health education on breast self-examination (SADARI) on knowledge, attitudes, and actions of adolescent girls at SMK Kader Bangsa Palembang. Suggestions are expected to schoolgirls can be made as a stewardship of SADARI techniques to detect early signs and symptoms of breast cancer.

Abstract

The low knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of breast care during pregnancy will affect breast milk production and the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in babies from birth to six months of age. One factor that influences the success of breast care is the knowledge of pregnant women. Problems that can arise in pregnant women who do not do breast care during pregnancy include nipple pain, breast engorgement, mastitis, breast abscesses, and breast milk flow problems. The purpose of this activity is to provide education for pregnant women with knowledge of breast care behavior. The method of implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health counseling, evaluated by pre-test and post-test. The method of implementing the service is to provide education to pregnant women through discussions using ebooklet media about the importance of breast care behavior. The number of participants who attended was 50 people, 2 students, and 5 midwives. The activity started from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to the preparation of reports. The results of the activity showed changes in knowledge with an average of 58.3% of participants' knowledge being in the poor category and 58.3% of the results being in the good category. In terms of skills, all participants (100%) were able to understand the importance of breast care behavior. Conclusion: Educational activities on the importance of breast care behavior can be an effort to increase knowledge and promote health.

The purpose of this activity is to provide Nutrition Awareness Education for Teenagers to Prevent Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK). The method of implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health counseling, evaluated by pre-test and post-test. The method of implementing the service is to provide nutrition awareness education for teenagers by means of discussions using ebooklet media about balanced nutrition and KEK. The number of participants who attended was 50 people, 2 students, and 5 midwives. The activity started from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to the preparation of the report. The results of the activity showed a change in knowledge with an average pre-test of 90% of participants' knowledge being in the poor category and the post-test results of 90% being in the good category. Abstract

Lack of maternal knowledge about Chronic Energy Deficiency is one of the indirect causes of maternal and infant mortality. Comprehensive Midwifery Care is one way to reduce MMR and IMR, especially those that occur in PMB Hj.SRI NIRMALA. The purpose of this Final Assignment Report is to provide comprehensive care for pregnant women, childbirth, newborns, postpartum period, and family planning with the SOAP method. Comprehensive midwifery care is carried out at PMB Hj.Sri Nirmala starting from the third trimester of pregnancy, childbirth, BBL, postpartum period and family planning. Care began on February 8 to April 6, 2024. This comprehensive midwifery care was carried out on Mrs. R, 26 years old G2P1A0 at 36 weeks of pregnancy at PMB Hj.Sri Nirmala. There were 2 pregnancy visits, 1 delivery, 4 postpartum visits, 3 BBL visits, and 1 family planning visit. During pregnancy, the mother did not have any complaints and the examination results were normal. On February 25, 2024, the mother reported signs of labor at 40 weeks and 2 days gestation. The labor process proceeded normally at PMB Hj. Sri Nirmala, with the first stage lasting 6 hours, the second stage lasting 20 minutes, the third stage lasting 10 minutes, and the fourth stage lasting 2 hours. Postpartum and newborn visits showed normal maternal and infant health. At the 6-week visit, the mother had received a 3-month contraceptive injection. With comprehensive midwifery care and IEC, it is hoped that the client will implement it so that the mother and baby remain healthy, thereby reducing maternal and infant mortality
