Digital Agility and Knowledge Sharing to Increase MSMEs Performance : An Empirical Study in MSMEs in Semarang City Yuniarti, Nur Atika; Mutiarachim, Atika

Abstract

This study investigates how digital agility and knowledge-sharing culture affect the performance of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City, with innovation performance as a mediating factor. In today's rapidly evolving technological and business landscape, digital agility enables organizations and individuals to adapt swiftly, maintaining relevance and competitiveness. Knowledge-sharing culture facilitates the exchange of expertise and experiences, fostering new ideas through the combination of diverse knowledge. The research proposes seven hypotheses. First, digital agility's effect on innovation performance. Second, knowledge sharing's impact on innovation performance. Third, digital agility's influence on MSMEs performance. Fourth, knowledge sharing's effect on MSMEs performance. Fifth, innovation performance's impact on MSMEs performance. The indirect effect, digital agility has a positive and significant effect on MSMEs performance through innovation performance as a hypothesis 6, then knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on MSMEs performance through innovation performance as a hypothesis 7. The study surveyed 100 MSMEs owners in Semarang City, categorized by their business net income. Data analysis was conducted using SMART-PLS 4 software. Results indicate that both digital agility and knowledge sharing positively and significantly influence innovation performance. While digital agility has a positive but insignificant direct effect on MSMEs performance, knowledge sharing demonstrates a positive and significant direct impact. Importantly, the study reveals that digital agility and knowledge sharing indirectly enhance MSMEs performance through innovation performance. This research emphasizes the importance of digital agility and knowledge-sharing culture in improving MSMEs performance. As MSMEs reach critical growth stages, implementing more productive methods through digital agility and knowledge sharing becomes crucial. These practices generate new ideas, fostering creativity and innovation within the organization. The resulting innovation competitiveness allows MSMEs to develop unique products or services, creating a competitive advantage and attracting new customers.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide training in media promotion to UMKM perpetrators in Blerong Village Demak district. The smart industry 6.0 era uses many technologies for business, including in promotional activities. Promotion is the introduction of a product to be better known to the public, which can be done offline or online, using interesting media. Choosing the right promotional media has a significant impact on the success of a promotional activity while increasing consumer interest in buying a product. The village of Blerong has many UMKM manufacturers who are not aware of the impact of the promotion on increased product sales. Easy and exciting promotion media creation training is essential. Canva application was chosen as a tool because it is simple, and provides many interesting templates and lots of free ones, making it easy for UMKM designers to create designs according to their needs. The training is conducted with lectures on promotion, the benefits of technology, and the continued practice of making promotional media. As a result of this activity, participants are more aware of the influence of the promotional media on the success of the promotion activities, so that the product is better known to the consumer while providing the experience to the participants so that they can use Canva.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Driver Services and Application Quality on Customer Loyalty through Customer Satisfaction, both directly and indirectly. Primary data was obtained through a Google Form questionnaire, the link of which was distributed online to Gojek customers throughout Indonesia resulting 120 respondents. Four data contained missing value and outliers so 116 data were used. Data was processed using Smart PLS 4.0. This research propose seven hypotheses. The results show five hypotheses can be accepted, however hypothesis of Application Quality on Customer Loyalty and Driver Services on Customer Loyalty through Customer Satisfaction obtained p-value > 0.05 so concludes to not influential.

Abstract

Understanding customer purchasing behavior is essential for predicting customer loyalty, which directly impacts a company's long-term success. This research aims to determine the effect of chi-square and information gain feature selection in optimizing customer loyalty classification performance, compared to pure kNN. Using a public customer purchasing behavior dataset from Kaggle, containing 10,000 data, 12 attributes with loyalty_status as the label (Gold, Regular, Silver). Evaluating performance by accuracy, kappa, classification error, recall, precision, and RMSE. The highest accuracy 91.99% was obtained by kNN k=3 with information gain, kappa 0.844, precision 95.44%, recall 86.30%, with the lowest classification error 8.01% and the second lowest RMSE 0.245, after kNN k=3 with chi-square. Results show that feature selection has a positive impact on classification, increasing accuracy and reducing errors, with the combination of the kNN k=3 method and information gain proving successful in obtaining high accuracy in classifying customer loyalty.

Abstract

Industri 4.0 menuntut pelaku industri skala besar sampai kecil untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan percepatan teknologi. Transformasi digital terbukti berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja industri, termasuk mempertahankan eksistensi UKM. Keberhasilan UKM dalam memanfaatkan teknologi terbukti mampu meningkatkan keuntungan dan efisiensi operasional. Pelaku UKM harus memastikan transformasi digital berhasil diterapkan. Prediksi transformasi digital memudahkan pelaku UKM untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan usahanya dalam menerapkan transformasi digital, sehingga UKM dapat mengembangkan strategi inovasi mengoptimalkan teknologi digital untuk menjaga eksistensi, memperoleh keuntungan optimal, meningkatkan daya saing serta efisiensi operasional. Prediksi dilakukan dengan membandingkan ID3, C4.5 dan CART untuk menemukan rule dengan performance terbaik, yang paling efektif untuk memprediksi keberhasilan suatu UKM dalam menerapkan transformasi digital. Hasil menunjukkan ID3 memperoleh performance terbaik dengan akurasi 89.19% dan AUC 0.959. Atribut ATP menjadi root node pada seluruh pohon keputusan yang dihasilkan. Ini berarti variabel Peran Digital Marketing, Model TOE, Strategi Bisnis Digital, Adopsi technopreneurship mempunyai peranan besar atau dampak yang signifikan terhadap UKM dalam melaksanakan transformasi digital pada bisnisnya.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat melalui penguatan manajemen bisnis telah dilaksanakan di Desa Manggarmas, Kecamatan Godong, Kabupaten Grobogan pada 25 Mei 2025. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas manajerial petani jamur melalui pelatihan manajemen usaha dan strategi pemasaran digital. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi meliputi pencatatan keuangan yang belum optimal, ketiadaan standar pengemasan produk, dan minimnya pemanfaatan media digital untuk pemasaran. Kegiatan pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif, mencakup distribusi hasil panen, teknik pengemasan, dan pemasaran digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: manajemen usaha sederhana naik 75%, penguasaan teknik pengemasan meningkat 80%, dan penggunaan media digital untuk pemasaran bertambah 70%. Dampak positif terlihat dari munculnya pembeli dari luar desa setelah petani mengunggah produk ke media sosial, mendorong terwujudnya wirausahawan mandiri yang mampu mengembangkan usaha dan meningkatkan pendapatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan financial technology, kemampuan manajerial dan literasi keuangan, terhadap kinerja keuangan UMKM. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelaku UMKM yang menggunakan financial technology. Teknik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode non-probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan langsung kepada para responden. Alat analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel penggunaan financial technology, kemampuan manajerial dan literasi keuangan, semua variable mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan UMKM.

Abstract

Customer churn merupakan tantangan kritis dalam industri telekomunikasi yang berdampak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pendekatan hybrid machine learning untuk memprediksi customer churn dengan mengintegrasikan deep learning dan random forest serta mengoptimalkan performa melalui seleksi fitur chi-square dan information gain. Dataset IBM Telco Customer Churn yang terdiri dari 7.043 sampel dengan 31 atribut digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metodologi penelitian meliputi preprocessing data, implementasi 10-fold cross validation, aplikasi metode seleksi fitur, dan evaluasi performa menggunakan confusion matrix serta metrik klasifikasi biner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi seleksi fitur secara signifikan meningkatkan akurasi prediksi, di mana akurasi tanpa seleksi fitur mencapai 97.00% (Deep Learning) dan 98.68% (Random Forest), sedangkan dengan seleksi fitur chi-square meningkat menjadi 97.97% (Deep Learning) dan 98.72% (Random Forest). Performa terbaik dicapai oleh kombinasi Random Forest dengan seleksi fitur information gain yang menghasilkan akurasi 98.75%, precision 98.37%, recall 99.96%, dan F-measure 99.16%. Temuan ini membuktikan efektivitas kombinasi algoritma ensemble dengan teknik seleksi fitur dalam mengoptimalkan prediksi customer churn untuk mendukung strategi retensi pelanggan yang lebih tepat sasaran
