Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS students in class IV SD Negeri 74 Palembang. This research used quasi-experimental design method with nonequivalent control group design type. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 74 Palembang. The sample taken in this study was 58 students who were divided into experimental and control classes. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in the study was a multiple choice test. The data analysis technique in this study used the Independent Samples T-test which was first carried out normality and homogeneity tests. The results in this study showed that the pretest value of the experimental class obtained an average of 56.90 and the control class of 50.34. While the posttest value of the experimental class obtained an average of 77.59 and the control class amounted to 66.55. The results of the Independent Samples T-test calculation with a significant level of ? = 0.05 obtained a sig value. 0.002, where sig. 0,002 < 0,005. Based on the results of the Independent Samples T-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using a problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS class IV students of SD Negeri 74 Palembang.

Abstract

Most of the people of West Kalimantan use traditional medicinal plants for treatment. Kubu Raya Regency is one of the districts that has traditional medicine (Battra), which uses medicinal plants in its practice. This research aims to carry out an inventory of medicinal plants used by traditional healers in Batra. The research design used in this research is descriptive research. The method used was to observe Batra to obtain information, followed by interviews. The data analysis technique used is qualitative in the form of narrative analysis, where data is obtained from traditional healers and then described to find out the names, properties, parts used, and methods of making and using medicinal plants. From the research results, it was found that 12 types of medicinal plants were used by traditional healers, namely alang-alang roots, cat's whisker leaves, guava leaves, Euphorbia tirucalli leaves, pegagan leaves, bay leaves, buas-buas leaves, white cumin, tapak jala leaves, cengkodok leaves, red betel leaves, and turmeric. The parts of the plant used are roots, rhizomes, leaves, and seeds. The way to make and use medicinal plants is by pasting, smearing, or smearing them. Some diseases treated using medicinal plants include fever, toothache, high blood pressure, blood sugar, itching, fungus, scabs, diarrhea, ulcers, rheumatism, hemorrhoids, stomach aches, low back pain, burns, irritated wounds, and skin inflammation.

Abstract

Teachers face many challenges in implementing literacy learning in inclusive schools. The purpose of this research is to analyze the obstacles teachers encounter when applying literacy learning in inclusive schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data collection techniques employed in this research include observation and questionnaires. The research subjects were six classroom teachers at SDN Samadikun. The results show that teachers still face numerous challenges in implementing literacy learning in inclusive schools, ranging from planning, implementation, evaluation, internal factors, and external factors of the teachers themselves. This research can serve as a reference to identify the obstacles that may arise when implementing literacy learning in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Permasalahan pemborosan nasi di tingkat rumah tangga menjadi isu yang belum banyak diselesaikan secara edukatif dan aplikatif. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK Desa Kepongpongan Kecamatan Talun Kota Cirebon dalam mengolah nasi sisa menjadi makanan ringan bernilai ekonomis. Metode yang digunakan berupa pelatihan kolaboratif antara mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan dan masyarakat, melalui ceramah interaktif dan praktik langsung pembuatan snack seperti nasi aron, kerupuk, sempol, bakso, dan cireng nasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 3 kali pertemuan yaitu pada 26 April 2025, 27 April 2025, dan 1 Mei 2025 dengan peserta sebanyak 10 orang ibu-ibu PKK. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang peserta pemanfaatan sisa nasi dan munculnya kesadaran terhadap konsumsi yang bertanggung jawab. Peserta antusias, aktif berdiskusi, dan menunjukkan minat tinggi terhadap praktik pengolahan. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini efektif meningkatkan keterampilan mengolah nasi sisa bagi masyarakat, mendukung pengurangan limbah makanan, serta membuka peluang ekonomi keluarga berdasarkan pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal.
