Abstract

Materi dimensi tiga harus dikuasai oleh calon guru matematika dikarenakan materi ini berkaitan erat dengan kurikulum sekolah menengah. Kesulitan belajar mahasiswa pada materi dimensi tiga dikarenakan materi bersifat abstrak. Sehingga penelitian ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan abstraksi calon guru matematika pada tingkat kognitif tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika tidak rutin materi dimensi tiga. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dari populasi seluruh mahasiswa peserta perkuliahan Kapita Selekta Matematika Menengah tahun akademik 2017/2018, dipilih tiga mahasiswa secara purposive, yang didasarkan pada hasil tes matematika untuk kemampuan abstraksi, sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kemampuan abstraksi mahasiswa dengan tingkat kognitif sedang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan yang tingkat kognitif tinggi, dan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang tingkat kognitif rendah. Terdapat selisih berturut-turut sebesar 33% dan 45%.  Dengan demikian, untuk tahap berikutnya mahasiswa dapat diberikan perlakuan yang tepat saat proses pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan masing-masing tingkat kognitif dan kemampuan abstraksi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa mahasiswa tingkat tiga program studi Pendidikan Matematika memiliki permasalahan pada saat persiapan pelaksanaan program PPL. Pada observasi awal masih banyak mahasiswa yang tidak memiliki kepercayaan diri ketika diberikan peluang untuk mengajar di tingkat Sekolah Menangah Atas. Meskipun berbagai upaya dilakukan seorang dosen guna meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa pada perkuliahan pembelajaran mikro. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memiliki rumusan masalah yakni menganalisa self confidence dan keterampilan bertanya mahasiswa pada perkuliahan pembelajaran mikro. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena relevan dilihat dari proses awal penelitian hingga penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa : 1) kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan tingkat dasar tergolong pada kategori sangat baik hal ini dibuktikan hampir keseluruhan mahasiswa mampu melakukan keterampilan ini, sedangkan kerampilan bertanya lanjut masih 70% mahasiswa  melakukannya sisanya belum melakukan.   2) terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara self confidence dengan keterampilan bertanya pada perkuliahan pembelajaran mikro.  Kata Kunci. Pembelajaran mikro, keterampilan bertanya, self confidence.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students' mathematics are due to teachers' less optimal use of learning media. So to overcome these problems, students need media that can support the process of learning mathematics. This study aimed to determine the feasibility of time loop lapbook media on time unit material for 3rd-grade elementary school students. This research belongs to the type of development research that was developed using the Bord and Gall model. The subjects involved in this study were six experts,  two material experts, two media experts, two language experts, and 20 grade 3 elementary school students. Data collection in the study was carried out using test methods, interviews, validation questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires, with research instruments in the form of media product validity questionnaire sheets by experts. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and combining quantitative data to revise the development of lapbook learning media products. The results of the research analysis showed that the validity of the lapbook media, which included media experts, material experts, and linguists stated that the time lap lapbook learning media obtained a score of 89.5%, which means that this lapbook learning media is very feasible to use in supporting the learning process, especially on material unit time class III elementary school. Then the results of practicality, which include aspects of ease of use, the time required, and ease of interpretation, obtain a score of 94%, which means that the learning media for the lapbook is very practical. Based on the results of the data analysis, the lapbook media is in the valid category and is very feasible to develop.

Abstract

Teachers face many challenges in implementing literacy learning in inclusive schools. The purpose of this research is to analyze the obstacles teachers encounter when applying literacy learning in inclusive schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data collection techniques employed in this research include observation and questionnaires. The research subjects were six classroom teachers at SDN Samadikun. The results show that teachers still face numerous challenges in implementing literacy learning in inclusive schools, ranging from planning, implementation, evaluation, internal factors, and external factors of the teachers themselves. This research can serve as a reference to identify the obstacles that may arise when implementing literacy learning in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Local cultures such as batik are increasingly being undermined by globalisation. Education and culture are components that cannot be avoided in everyday life because both are basic needs for every member of society. The purpose of this study is to analyse geometric patterns in local wisdom in the form of Ciwaringin batik motifs that can be integrated into mathematics learning in elementary schools using the ethnomathematics approach. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with ethnomathematics approach. The object of this study consisted of five Ciwaringin batik motifs namely Tebu sekeret, Gambir setemplik, Gribigan, Tambang manis, and Kembang jeruk. The result of this research is that the motifs in Ciwaringin batik have geometry aspects such as straight lines, curved lines, points, angles, squares, and triangles. These aspects can be used as media for HOTS-based questions that can improve the ability to think critically, creatively, analytically, and be able to solve a problem. With the combination of HOTS and ethnomathematics, not only cultural aspects are preserved, but also mathematics learning becomes more contextual and relevant to students' daily lives.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum is the Pancasila Student Profile which consists of five dimensions, one of them is the dimension of mutual cooperation. In relation to the dimension of mutual cooperation, communicative character is the key to this dimension. The communicative character that is built in schools is still limited to learning in the classroom only. This study aims to determine the form of student activities that reflect the values ​​of the Pancasila student profile that can form a communicative character. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with certain considerations, the data that has been taken is primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model in the form of data reduction, presenting data, and making conclusions. Using data validity tests that include credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The results of this study indicate that there are five student activities that reflect the values ​​of the Pancasila student profile in forming a communicative character, namely AKBARSAMAWA, group discussions, class pickets, congregational prayers, and scouts.

Abstract

Education is the right of all children, including children with special needs elow learner even though they often experience learning difficulties, especially in mathematics learning, this is the basis for this research. This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties experienced by students with special needs of the slow learner type in grade I of elementary school and the efforts of teachers in overcoming these obstacles. The subjects of this study were 2 students with special needs elow learner, namely student (A) and student (E) in grade 1 of SDN Samadikun. The research approach used was qualitative with a case study. Data collection techniques through direct observation in class, interviews with teachers, interviews with parents of students with special needs and written tests. The results of the study showed that slow learner students in grade I had difficulty understanding oral instructions, were slow in absorbing lesson materials, and had low memory which affected overall academic achievement. In addition, students also experienced obstacles in the social emotional aspect, such as lack of self-confidence and easily feeling anxious in learning situations. Teachers face challenges in delivering material repeatedly and must adjust learning strategies, such as the use of visual media, individual approaches, and providing positive reinforcement consistently. The role of parents is also clearly visible in efforts to help slow learners with special needs students with learning difficulties in mathematics
