Abstract

sepak takraw is an achievement sport that uses a throwing system. The throwing tool is designed with a variety of movements based on loading and unloading the ball independently and has different speeds according to training needs. The purpose of using a ball throwing tool is for the coach to sharpen the player's sepak takraw playing skills exclusively on each sepak takraw game technique, providing variations of basic training by directing the ball from anywhere and adjusting the desired speed and strength of the ball's throwing power so that the player can sharpen it. the skill of playing sepak takraw on the field. However, not all educational institutions use a support system for sepak takraw training, due to the lack of available facilities and infrastructure and the unavailability of supporting funds. This research was conducted on national sepak takraw athletes with the aim of making a simple sepak takraw throwing device at minimal cost to assist in the implementation of the sepak takraw Student Activity Unit (UKM). This research uses an interview method with a descriptive Research and Development (R & D) approach to develop a sepak takraw throwing tool. The results of the research show that the development of a sepak takraw throwing device for national sepak takraw athletes can be categorized as suitable for use as training, namely bottom passing, top passing and blocking in the sport sepak takraw. This can be seen from the research results of 93% of material experts, 91% of media experts, and 85% of small scale respondents and 82% of large scale respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of growth and yield of orange honey sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) to the application of Trichokompos fertilizer and to identify the dosage that provides the best yield. The study was conducted over six months, from December 2023 to May 2024, at the experimental plot STIPER Berau Campus, East Kalimantan. The design used was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with five levels of Trichokompos fertilizer dosage: T₀ (control), T₁ (0.75 kg/plot), T₂ (1.5 kg/plot), T₃ (2.25 kg/plot), and T₄ (3 kg/plot), each repeated five times. The observed parameters included stem diameter, number of tubers per plant, tuber weight per plant, tuber weight per plot, and tuber weight per hectare. The analysis results showed that the application of Trichokompos fertilizer did not give a significant response to all observed parameters. However, the highest tuber weight per hectare was 2.81 Mg.ha⁻¹ in treatment T₄. Environmental factors such as high rainfall and low light intensity were suspected to influence the results obtained. Trichokompost fertilizer has the potential to improve plant growth and yield through the improvement of soil physical properties and nutrient availability, but its effectiveness is highly influenced by environmental conditions and the dosage used. Further research is needed on the use of various doses of Trichokompos fertilizer and other factors on the orange honey sweet potato variety.

Abstract

Making batik designs requires the ability to visualize ideas for motifs or decorations. This process relies on the ability to move the visual processing process which was originally still an idea into something real, which can be seen in the form of an image. The ability to visualize is important because from this process motifs, patterns and decorations can be created. This work is quite complicated, requires precision, patience and takes time. When there are many orders, the work of drawing motifs must be faster. One solution to speed up making drawings is to use computer graphics to help create innovative written batik designs in a shorter time than if done manually. Through community service activities, the application of computer graphics technology for batik design innovation at the Pandansari Plupuh Sragen Batik Business uses training methods delivered offline and online. This is because both trainers and participants take time out of their busy work schedules. The participants are employees in the design department who are able to use computers. Through one face-to-face meeting for explanation and four online meetings for practice which aims to improve participants' skills in making various kinds of motifs. The result is a new design that can be completed relatively quickly compared to if it was done manually.
