Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus remains a pressing concern due to a significant surge in cases, driving the continuous exploration of natural substances as potential drugs and nutraceuticals. Notably, insulin leaves or yacon are among the promising natural candidates. Previous in vitro and in vivo studies have established the antidiabetic effects of insulin leaves, and in silico investigations have also been conducted to assess their impact on DPP-4. Nonetheless, the exploration of the hypoglycemic or antidiabetic effects of this plant remains extensive and offers room for further investigation. In light of this research, PPI analysis and oncology gene enrichment were carried out on target compounds and diseases using bioinformatics databases, Venn diagrams, Cytoscape, and ShinyGO. The findings unveiled 9 high-priority targets from the analysis, and the KEGG pathway that elucidates the disease mechanism is the EGFR inhibitor resistance pathway.

Abstract

Honey is a sweet substance produced by honey bees from the nectar of flowers or other parts of plants. Honey obtained from Bone, in South Sulawesi, has been extracted and tested for antibacterial activity and toxicity. Honey was macerated with methanol to obtain a crude extract. Methanol crude extract was then partitioned successively with n-hexane and ethyl acetate to obtain ethyl acetate and methanol fraction. Antibacterial activity test was performed by agar diffusion method against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Methanol extract, ethyl acetate fraction, and methanol fraction showed an inhibition zone against E. coli at 10.10, 10.05, and 8.40 mm, respectively with amoxicillin as a positive control (20.05 mm). Also against S. aureus, inhibition zone was obtained at 11.90, 9.30, 8.60, and 13.70 mm for methanol extract, ethyl acetate fraction, methanol fraction, and amoxicillin, respectively. The greatest inhibition zone was obtained from methanol extract against E. coli and S. aureus, both including the strong category. The LC50 value of methanol extract and methanol fraction was 273.57 µg/ml and 765.66 µg/ml, respectively, categorized as toxic against Artemia salina, while ethyl acetate fraction was not toxic.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the role of teachers in encouraging students' entrepreneurial interests and talents at SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. In the research, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data in the research were collected through unstructured observation and interviews. After the data is obtained, data analysis is then carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are the role of teachers in developing students' entrepreneurial interests and talents through guidance that supports their growth in terms of personality, social interaction, learning, and future career preparation. Entrepreneurial interest and talent refers to a person's interest or inclination towards the business world and having a high entrepreneurial spirit, characterized by courage in taking risks and having a mature vision and mission that emerges from experience and observation of the surroundings. Based on the presentation of the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that in encouraging students' entrepreneurial interests and talents, teachers have a very important role by carrying out their role in guiding and training students. Keywords: Role of Teachers, Interests, Talents, Entrepreneurship Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam mendorong minat dan bakat kewirausahaan siswa di SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. Dalam penelitian, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Data pada penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara yang tidak tersetruktur. Setelah data didapatkan, kemudian dilakukan analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peran guru dalam mengembangkan minat dan bakat kewirausahaan siswa melalui bimbingan yang mendukung pertumbuhan mereka dalam hal kepribadian, interaksi sosial, pembelajaran, dan persiapan karier di masa mendatang. Minat dan bakat berwirausaha merujuk pada ketertarikan atau kecenderungan seseorang terhadap dunia bisnis dan memiliki jiwa berwirausaha yang tinggi dengan ditandai keberanian dalam mengambil risiko serta memiliki visi dan misi yang matang yang muncul dari pengalaman dan pengamatan sekitar. Berdasarkan pemaparan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam mendorong minat dan bakat kewirausahaan siswa guru memiliki peran sangat penting dengan menjalankan perannya dalam membimbing dan melatih siswa. Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Minat, Bakat, Kewirausahaan
