Abstract

The objective of this research is the effect of using English blog on students’ writing ability in narrative text at tenth grade of MAN Labuhanbatu in the Academic Year 2020/2021. This research is quantitative experimental research methods. The design used in this research quasi experimental and used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. The sample used is purposive sampling from 4 classes X MIPA. The sample was used is X MIPA 1 as experiment class and X MIPA 2 as control class which has a subject 71 students. Instrument for collecting data were the tests namely pretest and posttest. The results of this research show that used of using English blog was there is any effect on student’s writing at MAN Labuhanbatu in the academic year 2020/2021. The researcher found out that increasing of experimental class which got mean 65.8 on pretest and got mean 74.4 on posttest. Because t count value higher than t table (2.969 > 1.667), means it Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Keywords: Using English Blog, Writing Ability

Abstract

This study explores the impact of green economy-based English language learning on environmental awareness among students at Al Washliyah University Medan. Recognizing the role of education in addressing global environmental challenges, the research aims to assess how incorporating green economy principles into English learning influences students' attitudes and behaviors towards sustainability. The study employs a sample of 32 students and uses multiple linear regression analysis to examine the effects of promotion and environmentally friendly behavior on English language learning. Results show that while promotion does not significantly affect English learning, eco-friendly behavior has a substantial positive influence. Together, promotion and eco-friendly behavior account for 65.2% of the variance in English learning based on the green economy. The findings underscore the potential of integrating green economy concepts into educational curricula to promote environmental awareness and foster sustainable behaviors in higher education.

Abstract

Keswa Creative Production merupakan suatu usaha yang bergerak di bidang penjualan peralatan listrik. Toko ini mengharapkan untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang sebesar-besarnya tanpa batasan waktu dan tempat, sehingga para pelanggan dapat berinteraksi dan berperan aktif dalam proses jual beli tanpa dibatasi oleh waktu dan tempat. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi di Keswa Creative Production adalah sulitnya mengetahui stok barang yang tersisa karena pencatatan masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga produk hanya disimpan di gudang. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi, maka diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat memudahkan Keswa Creative Production dalam memaksimalkan penjualannya. Sistem yang diusulkan didasarkan pada permasalahan yang ada pada proses bisnis saat ini. Dengan memanfaatkan E-Commerce pada sistem yang baru diharapkan kelemahan-kelemahan yang ada sebelumnya dapat diatasi sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang akurat. Pada penelitian ini penulis melakukan analisis model bisnis dengan menggunakan Website. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah prototipe E-Commerce yang dapat membantu Keswa Creative Production dalam memaksimalkan penjualan produk
