Abstract

The birth process is a natural event of conception in the form of a baby and placenta from the uterus which can cause anxiety. Anxiety in pregnant women, if not managed properly, will have an impact on the physical and psychological health of the mother and baby. This research uses a descriptive method. The research will take place in December 2021–May 2022 at PMB Lutfiana. A total of 40 mothers in active phase I labor were obtained using total sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses the STAI scale. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis. The age characteristics of respondents aged 20–35 years included 34 respondents (85%). The majority of elementary-middle school students with low education amounted to 21 respondents (52.5%). The majority of respondents did not work, 27 respondents (67.5%), and the majority of multiparous respondents, 31 respondents (77.5%). The majority of maternal anxiety during the active phase was at the severe anxiety level, namely 28 respondents (70%). The average anxiety score was 46.43, with a 95% CI of 43.01-49.84. The majority of mothers' anxiety levels in the active phase of labor are severe anxiety levels.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a condition where in a woman's womb there is an embryo or fetus. Physiological changes that pregnant women often experience, such as fatigue, stomach cramps, frequent urination, morning sickness and nausea, vomiting. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the incidence of nausea and vomiting in the world is 70% -80% of the number of pregnant women. The incidence of emesis gravidarum is at least 15% of all pregnant women. The frequency of morning sickness is not only in the morning but can be in the afternoon or even at night. Based on a preliminary survey conducted at Pratama Vina Clinic in February 2024, 23 pregnant women were found to experience nausea and vomiting. Consuming Ambon Bananas can be a cheap and practical non-pharmacological alternative. The general aim of this research is to determine the relationship between giving Ambon bananas and reducing the intensity of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the 1st trimester at Pratama Vina Clinic in 2024. This research is a type of quantitative research with a Quasi-Experimental research design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study consisted of 15 pregnant women in the first trimester who came for a pregnancy visit. The sampling technique in this research was Accidental Sampling of 15 people. This research used the T-Test to obtain a p-value <0.000. This shows that there is a relationship between giving Ambon bananas to reducing the intensity of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the 1st trimester at the Pratama Vina clinic in 2024, due to the effect of the B6 content, the benefits of B6 as a coenzyme for reactions in metabolism, in protein synthesis and metabolism, especially serotonin is useful for reducing nausea, vomiting.

Abstract

Keluarga berencana merupakan usaha suami istri untuk mengukur jumlah dan jarak anak yang diinginkan. Usaha yang dimaksud termasuk kontrasepsi atau pencegahan kehamilan dan perencanaan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian adalah Untuk Mengetahui pengetahuan ibu pasangan usia subur tentang penggunaan kontrasepsi IUD di Puskesmas Pulau Laut Kab. Ranai Kepulauan Riau Tahun 2024. Penelitian  ini merupakan yang menggunakan metode diskriftif analitik pendekatan  dengan menggunakan desain Cross Sectional merupakan rancangan penelitian untuk mengetahui  hubungan antara  variabel sebab atau resiko dan  akibat atau kasus yang terjadi pada objek penelitian di ukur  atau dikumpul secara stimulant. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di di Puskesmas Pulau Laut Kab. Ranai Kepulauan Riau Tahun 2024. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 35 sampel yang diambil dari seluruh populasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel ini disebut teknik total  sampling. Dari hasil analisa statistic chi square diperoleh nilai X2  Hitung = 14, 8 dan  X2 Tabel  3,841, dengan demikian  X2  Hitung > X2 Tabel maka didapatkan hasil Tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu pasangan usia subur dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi IUD di Puskesmas Pulau Laut Kab. Ranai Kepulauan Riau Tahun 2024. Pihak Puskesmas khususnya bidan yang ada di Puskesmas Pulau Laut perlu meningkatkan informasi dan promosi kesehatan mengenai alat kontrasepsi jangka panjang terutama terutama bagi ibu pasangan usia subur untuk meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan mengenai alat kontrasepsi IUD dan sebagai dasar dalam upaya meningkatkan pelanyanan KB khususnya alat kontrasepsi IUD.

Abstract

Background: Safe Motherhood consists of four pillars: family planning, antenatal care services, safe birth, and essential/emergency obstetric and neonatal care, Environmental health, the amount of knowledge of healthy living practices, the level of health care during maternity and postpartum, and the socioeconomic situations of the community.Objective: to analyze pregnant women who experience psychological responses to antenatal care services in socio-economic situations.Methods: correlation analytical research, with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling for 1 month, which obtained up to 102 samples. This research was carried out at Medan Tuntungan North Sumatra. The independent variable was socioeconomic position, education level, location, age, work status, and anxiety, and the dependent variable was antenatal care services. Data were collected using the The instruments in this study are the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42) The overall Cronbach’s alpha for the DASS-21 scale was 0.74. Statistical test using the Chi-Square test.Results: There is a significant related between socioeconomic position, education level, location, age, work status, and anxiety among antenatal care services. Conclusion: Pregnant women's access to antenatal care services is influenced by socioeconomic position, education level, location, age, work status, and anxiety
