Abstract

The application of educational psychology at SLBN Banjarnegara is an important step to support the development of children with special needs (ABK). The aim of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the application of educational psychology in improving the quality of learning and development of ABK, as well as identifying the obstacles faced and strategies for overcoming them. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the analysis show that the application of educational psychology significantly contributes to students' cognitive, social and emotional development. Implemented interventions, such as play therapy and positive reinforcement, have proven effective in increasing student motivation and engagement. However, this research also identified a number of obstacles, such as a lack of competent teaching staff and limited adequate facilities. Efforts to overcome these obstacles, including training for teachers and development of educational facilities, are discussed in detail. It is hoped that this research can provide deeper insight into the application of educational psychology at SLB N Banjarnegara, as well as provide recommendations for the development of better inclusive education for children with special needs in the future.

Abstract

Industri batik di Kecamatan Pekalongan Utara berkontribusi besar terhadap ekonomi lokal, namun juga menimbulkan masalah pencemaran lingkungan yang serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pencemaran air dari limbah batik, mengevaluasi efektivitas pengelolaannya oleh industri, dan menyusun strategi perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa limbah cair dari industri batik mengandung bahan kimia berbahaya seperti pewarna sintetis dan logam berat, yang menyebabkan kualitas air sungai di sekitar pabrik memburuk, ditandai dengan air yang keruh, berbau tidak sedap, dan mengancam ekosistem air serta kesehatan masyarakat. Pengelolaan limbah oleh industri batik masih menghadapi banyak kendala, meskipun pemerintah daerah telah mengeluarkan kebijakan berupa pengawasan, penegakan hukum, dan pemberian insentif untuk penggunaan teknologi ramah lingkungan. Implementasi kebijakan tersebut memerlukan peningkatan efektivitas dan dukungan teknologi yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini menyarankan adanya upaya yang lebih terkoordinasi dan berkelanjutan dalam pengelolaan limbah, serta peningkatan edukasi dan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan industri dan masyarakat untuk mengurangi dampak pencemaran dan memastikan keberlanjutan lingkungan di masa depan.

Abstract

Pine resin is one of the non-timber forest products (NTFPs) that has high economic value. However, the quality and selling value of pine resin are greatly influenced by the container media used during tapping. This study aims to analyze the effect of filter variations on the innovative tool on the quality of the resin and the resulting economic value. The method used is quantitative descriptive through field experiments and analysis of the sales value of the tapping results using two types of tools, namely traditional tools (coconut shells) and innovative tools with two levels of filters and covers. The experiment was conducted for fifteen days on two groups of pine trees that were tapped in parallel. The results showed that although the volume of resin produced was similar, the selling value of the resin from the innovative tool increased up to three times due to the cleaner quality and minimal contamination, with total income increasing from IDR 72,000 to IDR 216,000 for six trees over fifteen days. The community also responded positively to the practicality, safety, and effectiveness of the tool. This innovation contributes to increasing farmers' income and can be a strategic solution to support the efficiency of pine resin tapping by Perhutani.
