Abstract

Abstract

Diarrhea is one of the health problems that are often faced by the community, usually caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, parasites, viruses, and protozoa that are transmitted between individuals through the fecal-oral route. The handling of diarrhea recommended by WHO is referred to as cross-management of diarrhea by providing rehydration, zinc supplements, nutrition, antibiotics and education for parents or caregivers. The research method used is to collect several articles from the latest published journals which were then reviewed and reviewed. The purpose of this review article is to know the evaluation of the use of antidiarrheal drugs and antibiotics based on categories of inpatients in several hospitals. The results show that the prevalence of diarrhea in patients is dominated by men with an age range of 0-14 in children and the elderly over 50 years. Diarrhea can be managed by giving rehydration, zinc supplements, nutritional therapy, antibiotics, antidiarrheals, antipyretics, analgesics and antiemetics to reduce the symptoms and duration of diarrhea. Diarrhea therapy at several health facilities has shown quite good results through evaluation of drug administration through several observations including the right indication, right patient, right drug, right dose, right administration and right time of administration.

Abstract

Inflammation is a protective response caused by damage to certain tissues. Anti-inflammatory is a substance or drug used to treat redness, increased body temperature, swelling, pain and loss of function of an organ. Steroid and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have many side effects, so studies are needed to develop new drugs to minimize side effects and improve therapeutic effects. The method used is literature review from journals and articles obtained from Google Scholar in 15 journals. The purpose of the literature review is to find out the study of the development of new drugs from several compounds that have potential as anti-inflammatories. Secondary metabolites that have potential as anti-inflammatory include essential oils, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, and anthocyanins. Secondary metabolites will interact with the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme which is the main mediator of inflammation. The results obtained from the 15 compounds contain these secondary metabolites so they have the potential as anti-inflammatory.

Abstract

Food is incoming substance to in body human and processed in a manner chemical and biological like carbohydrates , proteins, and fats. each of third substance this have very important role for body . Carbohydrate useful as one source energy , increase the sweet taste , regulate the process of glucose blood , and can solve fatty acids. Proteins play a role in metabolic processes , catalysts enzymatic , antibody , and carrier signal in a manner biological . Useful fat as warmer body , adjustment with change temperature , and protect body from crash . For knowing how much many content of fat , protein, and carbohydrates contained in a food or drink so need done testing in a manner qualitative and quantitative , testing this depending on the sample being tested and the effect temperature nor ingredient standard used . The purpose of the literature review is to determine and compare the levels of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in samples of flour, milk, cheese and yogurt through various test methods.
