Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of peanut gowth and production of local variety Kebar to goat manure treatment and peanut seed size. The method used was an experiment with a factorial randomized block design with two treatments. The first treatment was fertilizer dosage with 3 levels and the second treatment was seed size with 2 levels. Three levels for fertilizer doses, namely P0: 0 g/polybag; P1: 150 g/polybag, P2: 300 g/polybag. Two levels for seed size, namely, B1: small seed size (0.5 g) and B2: large seed size (0.8 g). The data was then analyzed using analysis of variation (Anova). If the treatment shows results that have a real effect, then continue with the DMRT further test. The results showed that the P2B2 treatment showed a higher leaf number and plant weight than the other treatments. However, the application of goat manure and seed size had no effect on number of pods, pod weight per plant, number of filled pods and 50 seed weight.

Abstract

Agricultural waste is a rich yet underutilized resource for bioactive compounds that have significant potential in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and functional food industries. This study systematically analyzed 23 peer-reviewed articles from the Scopus database to identify the types of bioactive compounds present in agricultural waste, the extraction methods used, their applications, and associated challenges. The findings revealed that phenolics, flavonoids, tannins, carotenoids, and saponins are the most commonly identified bioactive compounds. Advanced extraction techniques such as ultrasound-assisted and supercritical fluid extraction demonstrated superior efficiency compared to conventional methods. Applications of these compounds span health, wellness, and food sectors, supporting sustainable development and the circular economy. However, challenges including high extraction costs, standardization issues, and regulatory hurdles must be addressed to realize their full potential. This study emphasizes the need for further research and collaboration to enhance the valorization of agricultural waste and unlock its economic and environmental benefits.

Abstract

This systematic literature review examines the effects of Bokashi organic fertilizer dosage on rice plants' agronomic growth and productivity (Oryza sativa). Using 16 Scopus-indexed articles, the study synthesizes findings on how Bokashi impacts key agronomic parameters such as plant height, tiller number, biomass production, and grain yield. The review highlights that optimal dosages (5–10 tons/ha) consistently improve growth and yield outcomes compared to chemical fertilizers or untreated controls. Bokashi's nutrient-rich composition and ability to enhance soil health and microbial activity make it a sustainable alternative for rice cultivation. However, its effectiveness depends on soil type, environmental conditions, and rice variety. Challenges related to dosage standardization and large-scale implementation are identified, and recommendations for future research are provided. This review underscores the potential of Bokashi in promoting sustainable agriculture while reducing reliance on synthetic inputs.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of AI-based technology implementation, green energy sustainability, and product innovation on the economic growth of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 120 manufacturing firms and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that AI-based technology has the strongest positive impact on economic growth, followed by green energy sustainability and product innovation. AI-driven technologies optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making, contributing significantly to the economic performance of firms. Green energy sustainability promotes long-term growth by reducing operational costs and improving environmental performance. While product innovation positively influences growth, its impact is relatively weaker, indicating the need for complementary factors. These findings provide insights for policymakers and industry leaders to focus on technological advancement, sustainability, and innovation as drivers of economic growth in Indonesia’s manufacturing sector.
