Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how "The Effect of Copy The Master's Method on Poetry Reading Skills of Class VII MTs PAB 2 Students". The location of this research was carried out at MTs PAB 2 Sampali Jalan. Black Market No. 69 Sampali Kec. Percut Sei Tuan. The population of this study were all classes VII-1 and VII-4 which amounted to 140 people. The experimental class or class that uses the Copy The Master method is class VII-1 with 35 students, while the control class or class without using the Copy The Master method is class VII-2 with 35 students. The method used in this research is the experimental method. In this research, a test instrument is used in the form of a poetry reading practice test. After calculating and processing the data carried out in the experimental class, the highest score was 11 people with a score of 70-84 and the lowest score was 10 people with a score of 70 and an average of 75.30 (good). While in the control class, the highest score was 1 student with a score of 70-84 and the lowest score was 1 student with a value of 0-49 and an average of 57.13 (enough). From the above results, we get tcount > ttable (6.98 > 1.71). Thus Ha is accepted. So in other words, the effect of the Copy The Master method on the poetry reading skills of class VII MTs PAB 2 Sampali students.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the meaning and function of the song mbaba kampil by Djaga Depari in traditional Karo weddings. This song has certain characteristics that are different from other songs, making researchers want to reveal the meaning and function of the song mbaba kampil by Djaga Depari at a traditional Karo wedding. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the subjects in this study are the people who support the mbaba kampil song, while the object of research is the meaning and function of the mbaba kampil kampil song in the Karo tribe’s traditional wedding. Data collection techniques used are interviews, and documentation. The qualitative data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the song mbaba kampil has a unique lyric and has a deep meaning about the traditional marriage of the Karo tribe. Researchers divide into connotative meaning and denotative meaning. The connotative meaning of the song contains advice, invitation, and information. The denotative meaning of the song takes the words of the Karo tribes cloth and calls commonly used in the Karo tribe, for example, the words tudung, bulang-bulang, kalimbubu. The song also has certain functions, the researcher reveals severel function of the song, namely : (1) as a form of entertainment, (2) functions of traditional ceremonies, (3) functions of family norms, (4) functions of customary norms, (5) functions of advice.

Abstract

Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition adalah bahwa terjemahan bebas dari CIRC komposisi terpadu membaca dan menulis secara koperatif kelompok. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah siswa 366 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini 68 siswa. Jenis sampel yang digunakan adalah Purposive sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model cooperative integrated reading anda composition terhadap kemampuan menentukan struktur teks eksposisi sisw kelas VII MTs Al- Jamiyatul Washliyah Tembung. Saran bagi Siswa MTS Aljamiyatul Washliyah Tembung disarankan agar mengulangi lagi dan memahami pelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru, sehingga akan mendapatkan hasil yang bagus dan bahkan dapat meningkatkan lagi pemahaman tentang berbagai struktur-struktur teks.
