Abstract

Technology is a basic need of everyone so it can be said that educational innovation and educational technology are inseparable whole and causes the use of technology in the scope of education to be a must to achieve a more advanced and quality education. Therefore, it is important to know the development of technology in the scope of education so that it can be the basis for technological development in education in the future. The purpose of this study is to analyze and find out the trends of technology research in the field of education in the last 5 years starting from 2018 to 2022. This study uses bibliometric analysis which is a quantitative statistical analysis tool that is often used to provide analysis of existing publications with the help of VOSviewer to visualize data and use databases in Scopus. Then, based on the results of the analysis, 547 publications were obtained in the span of 5 years, starting from 2018 to 2022, furthermore, technological research trends in education related to publication growth and leading affiliations, leading country and subject area, the most source title, the most cited source, the most cited authors, and keywords co occurances analysis. In addition, this research contributes and also opens up opportunities for future researchers to be able to conduct research related to technology in education, which is still small in the density visualization area.

Abstract

Changes will always occur in every line of life, so adjustments need to be made for good and progress, especially in the field of education. Change encourages the willingness to adapt and is an opportunity to improve. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation which are then processed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or data verification. The purpose of this study is to analyze change management related to the implementation and evaluation of changes that have been carried out by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Yayasan Pembangunan Kalianda, South Lampung. In findings related to the implementation and evaluation of change, it is known that implementation is carried out in three phases, namely unfreezing, change, and refreezing. Then in the evaluation of change, a thorough analysis is carried out to determine future improvements, ideas, and innovations. In this regard, this research can be a reference in carrying out change management for Islamic educational institutions in the future.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is an obligation for every educational institution that wants to continue to exist and wants to produce quality graduates to meet the needs and developments of the current times. However, the obstacle is that educational institutions have difficulty determining what strategies must be done to make quality improvement efforts effective. This study aims to know, analyze, and describe benchmarking as a vocational quality improvement strategy towards SMK PK (Center of Excellence of Vocational High School). This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, interview, and observation. Then, the research data is analyzed through data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusions. The results showed that SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta has carried out benchmarking for two years to improve the quality of education and realize it into SMK PK (Center of Excellence of Vocational High School). SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta carries out strategies from the pre-benchmarking period, the benchmarking process, to the plan after the benchmarking is implemented. This research is expected to guide other vocational high schools that want to benchmark to improve quality towards SMK PK (Center of Excellence of Vocational High School).

Abstract

Women's leaders have begun to play an active role in organizational activities in various fields, including education. Therefore, this study aims to analyze women's leadership in creating change, synergy and empowering existing human resources in madrasas using a descriptive and qualitative approach. This study used data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is divided into three current flows of activity: data reduction, data display, and concluding. According to the findings of this study, women leaders lead in several ways, including creating change by applying several principles of being open, insightful, and skilled; being disciplined, authoritative, and responsible; engaging in routine observation and discussion; and improving quality by participating in training. Furthermore, by creating synergy by applying the principle of cooperation and involving all human resources in decision-making that is consistent with decisions and policies, Then, in empowering human resources, women leaders apply the principles of assigning tasks and responsibilities according to competence, collaborating, granting autonomy, and facilitating human resources so that they are freer to develop themselves, especially those related to improving the quality of their learning activities. Based on these findings, this study is expected to serve as a model for women leaders to follow to become quality leaders.
