Abstract

Physical education (Penjas) has an important role in developing students' physical skills and fitness, one of which is through floor exercises and physical fitness exercises. This research aims to determine the application of floor exercises and physical fitness exercises in improving basic movement skills, physical fitness and student health at SD Negeri 060913 Medan Tembung. The main problem faced is the lack of students' understanding of the basic techniques of floor exercise and physical fitness exercises as well as the lack of structured physical activity. This research uses a qualitative method with an observation and interview approach to sports teachers and students. The results of the research show that the application of floor exercises and physical fitness exercises carried out regularly and in a structured manner can improve basic movement skills, physical fitness and student health. Students demonstrated increased ability in basic movements such as rolling, somersaulting, and body balance, and experienced increased endurance and overall fitness. This research suggests that future research can explore more deeply the factors that influence the successful implementation of this activity and expand the variety of other sports activities to increase student involvement in physical education learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar. Integrasi, dalam konteks ini, mengacu pada proses menggabungkan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran. Pembelajaran IPS sendiri adalah proses pendidikan yang berfokus pada pemahaman siswa tentang masyarakat dan lingkungan sosial mereka. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi metode, strategi, dan tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam kurikulum IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai karakter seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan kerjasama sangat penting dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa yang baik dan kompeten. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa meskipun ada beberapa tantangan, upaya integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan moral, etika, dan kemampuan sosial siswa.

Abstract

Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan keterampilan hidup sehat sejak usia dini melalui Tri Bakti PMR yang meliputi pembinaan karakter, keterampilan hidup sehat, dan pelayanan kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi Tri Bakti PMR dalam meningkatkan keterampilan hidup sehat siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Dengan menggunakan metode kajian literatur dan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber relevan, baik dokumen kebijakan, laporan program, maupun hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tri Bakti PMR efektif dalam membentuk perilaku hidup sehat melalui pendekatan berbasis praktik, partisipasi aktif siswa, dan integrasi dengan kurikulum sekolah. Artikel ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi strategis untuk optimalisasi implementasi Tri Bakti PMR di tingkat pendidikan dasar.
