Abstract

Arabic vocabulary mastery (mufrodat) is one of the main keys to mastering Arabic. However, a monotonous learning environment often becomes an obstacle for students to achieve this mastery. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of icebreaker strategies in increasing student engagement in learning Arabic mufrodat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that icebreaker strategies were able to change the classroom atmosphere from initially boring to more active, fun, and conducive. This strategy succeeded in attracting students' attention and increasing their participation in the learning process. In conclusion, icebreakers are an effective tool for creating an entertaining learning environment while supporting the improvement of Arabic vocabulary mastery. This strategy can be adapted as an innovative learning method to create a more interactive and motivating atmosphere for students

Abstract

Local languages are integral to cultural identity, linking generations to their ancestral history. Nevertheless, in the age of globalization, its existence can be endangered by the prevalence of national and foreign languages. Parents are crucial in safeguarding regional languages, particularly by integrating and familiarizing them into familial interactions. This research seeks to examine the methods by which parents contribute to the preservation of regional languages, their motivations for such efforts, and the obstacles they encounter. Data were gathered using a qualitative methodology, which included in-depth interviews, observations of family interactions, and literature reviews. The findings indicate that parents maintain the local language via daily dialogues, traditional songs, folklore, and internet platforms. Nonetheless, students encounter obstacles including the impact of national and foreign languages, insufficient environmental support, and restricted learning resources. Assistance from educational institutions and communities is essential to cultivate an atmosphere conducive to the acquisition of regional languages. This collaborative initiative not only maintains local languages but also fortifies the cultural identity of forthcoming generations. This research underscores the importance of synergy between families, schools, and communities in sustaining the nation's cultural wealth.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Seni Gerak untuk anak usia dini merupakan sebuah pendidikan yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik dan keseimbangan anak-anak. Tujuan ini dicapai melalui berbagai kegiatan yang melibatkan gerakan tubuh, seperti berlari, melompat, meloncat. Pembelajaran Seni Gerak ini juga memungkinkan anak-anak untuk mengekspresikan pemikirannya, menanggapi musik, dan mencurahkan perasaan melalui aktivitas menggerakkan tubuh. Pembelajaran Seni Gerak ini memiliki beberapa manfaat untuk perkembangan anak-anak seperti membantu meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik yang ditimbulkan melalui perasaan sehingga menunjukkan berbagai gerakan tubuh dari otot, pergelangan dan urat. Selain itu manfaat dari seni gerak ini dapat memberikan peluang keterampilan gerak tari yang diperoleh pada anak. Dengan begini anak-anak dapat meningkatkan kreativitasnya melalui pengalaman seni gerak yang berupa kegiatan menari, bermain musik, dan seni bermain drama. Jadi kita sebagai orang tua atau pengajar dapat memperbaiki keterampilan fisik dasar anak usia dini seperti keseimbangan dan ekspresi wajah.
