Abstract

The integration of the philosophy of science and Islamic studies presents fertile ground for reexamining the concept of science from a holistic perspective. This journal article critically analyzes the intersection between these two domains, aiming to reveal how philosophical principles can enrich Islamic epistemology and methodology. By exploring the historical evolution of science in Islamic civilization and its philosophical foundations, this study highlights the enduring relevance of classical Islamic scholarship in contemporary scientific discourse. This analysis investigates key philosophical concepts such as epistemology, ontology, and methodology, and examines their implications for Islamic studies. Furthermore, this article discusses the challenges and opportunities of integrating Western scientific paradigms with Islamic thought, proposing a framework for a more comprehensive and inclusive understanding of science. Through a critical review of existing literature and original theoretical contributions, this study underscores the need for dialogue between the philosophy of science and Islamic studies, advocating a new appreciation of the intellectual heritage that can inform and enhance modern scientific endeavors in an Islamic context.

Abstract

Perkembangan pemikiran Islam dalam Muhammadiyah, terutama pada konsep "Islam Berkemajuan" yang berbeda dari gerakan dakwah Islam lainnya. Muktamar Muhammadiyah meninjau kembali gagasan tersebut setiap lima tahun sekali. Ide ini muncul sebagai respons terhadap globalisasi. Didirikan pada tahun 1912 oleh Ahmad Dahlan, Muhammadiyah berkomitmen mengatasi kemiskinan, kebodohan, dan keterbelakangan umat Islam, serta memurnikan praktik Islam dari takhayul dan sesat. Gerakan ini dikenal sebagai reformis dan modernis, menekankan akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak dengan pandangan Islam yang mendorong pencerahan dan kemajuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dan mengumpulkan data dari literatur yang relevan. Muhammadiyah berfokus pada integrasi ilmu agama dan sekuler di lembaga pendidikan, pengembangan soft skills, dan sistem pendidikan yang mendukung akhlak Islami. Meskipun bukan partai politik, Muhammadiyah berperan menjaga keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia melalui politik kebangsaan. Islam Berkemajuan diimplementasikan dalam Muhammadiyah melalui berbagai taktik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kehidupan individu, negara, dan seluruh umat manusia. Muhammadiyah menjunjung tinggi gagasan dakwah rahmatan lil alamin dan menekankan pentingnya kembali kepada Al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah. Dedikasi Muhammadiyah untuk menampilkan Islam yang berkemajuan diperkuat dengan sejumlah aksi dan program yang merepresentasikan tujuan untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang modern, berkeadilan, dan terhormat.

Abstract

Background. Islam is a comprehensive religion, meaning that it covers all aspects of human life, but not all of it can be realized by Muslims. As with sports, it is an aspect that is recommended in Islam, because Islam pays great attention to the value of physical health. In line with that, Adzkia Integrated Islamic Elementary School has extracurriculars, namely sports, and all its students adhere to Islam, for that it is necessary to integrate Islamic values into these extracurriculars. Purpose. The research was carried out with a qualitative approach, data was collected by observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out from data collection, data classification, to drawing conclusions. Method. This research methodology includes literature studies, interviews with tahsin experts, and direct observation of the tahsin teaching process in several Islamic educational institutions. Results. The results of the research are, first, the integration of Islamic values in sports learning, namely teachers ensure that students start sports activities with basmalah, pray and close it with hamdalah. Second, integration is carried out on the material aspect, namely sports materials are not only based on sports materials that are usually done and followed by students, but also introduce to students related to sports that are usual and recommended by the Prophet.. Conclusion. Integration is carried out in the learning aspect, this includes starting from planning, implementation, evaluation, namely teachers carry out the three learning steps in teaching sports by adhering to Islamic ethics and norms.
